  1. Nice, was not expecting that!
  2. Not being in control sounds scary, yet notice how the need for control severely limits your openness to experiencing reality with clarity. It’s actually scarier to keep the door only partially open, as you’ll endlessly keep speculating and assuming what’s right in front of you. So open the gosh darn door and let the light in. Go from “I wonder if…” to wonderment! And if your door is a doorless door, cool. Approach and open that too!
  3. (I like your word, persist. It’s like the opposite of resist.) Here are some of the points I’m working on: stick to my values surround myself with those who share similar and compatible values identify those who don’t, and create appropriate boundaries to minimize their influence experience discomfort with compassion and flexibility for example, if I share a piece of music that I really love, but my closest friends aren’t into it, let it be. Don’t try to convince them to change their minds, or even make adjustments to the song just to make it more appealing to them seek personal guidance from those who’re much more experienced, and foster a healthy relationship with them daily practice with an open and mindful state
  4. Lucid dreaming seems very woo-woo and new agey. However, for those who are more rational and scientifically minded, there’s a legitimate PhD who studies lucid dreaming for a living. Clare Johnson has been having lucid dreams ever since she was 3 years old, and she was the first person in the world to do a PhD on lucid dreaming as a creative tool. If you’re interested in delving into lucid dreaming but are skeptical of its potential, then Clare Johnson is a great resource. She communicates with a balance of rationality and imagination. I can’t wait to see more scientists evolve and integrate more of the spiritual realm, as it’s a critical aspect that is severely missing in modern science. Clare Johnson gives us a taste that it’s possible to integrate the two..!!
  5. @Sugarcoat came up with a fun title: Semi-Awkward Mystic Autistic
  6. One of the biggest traps is trying to explain all of this to your “family”. They’re in the business of maintaining a rigid idea of who they think you are. And you’re trying to convince them otherwise. It’s a never ending cycle, so watch out!
  7. What’s truly scary is convincing yourself that you’re powerless to the dysfunctional circumstances in your life. Getting out of that requires dropping garbage thoughts you’re holding onto in your mind. The rest will follow.
  8. That’s lovely, but please don’t don’t suck on my !
