I’m very thankful going the therapy route. You work with the therapist for multiple sessions even before doing your first dose to really prepare you.

I was feeling like poo this afternoon, but it turns out that my body and mind was just asking for a nap. I allowed myself to take that rest instead of forcing myself to be “productive”. It turns out that allowing this is itself productive; I felt better after taking a break.

Open mindedness is something I still struggle due to being raised in a very conservative upbringing. I suppose I should be open minded to viewing my upbringing more as a gift rather than a curse. It allows me to have a reference experience of what it’s like to live in a very narrow and rigid perspective and what it’s like to be free of that. I can’t wait to see where I’ll be 5-10 years from now.

Well, the expression happens on its own so that’s where embracing it comes in. I do a short breathing meditation when it gets too overwhelming.

One of the consequences is not allowing yourself to be vulnerable to different worldviews. For example, my partner is really into Valentine’s Day whereas I don’t give a crap about holidays. I will pretend to enjoy it and see what happens

Being in a relationship is simply icing on the cake.
