  1. Very relatable. My relationship with women was terrible for 10+ years yet it has made huge improvements these past few years. Keep at it!
  2. I would hope you are not caricaturizing this work and reducing it to sitting in silence and doing nothing, because that is bs and silly. Some do need a period of time to do that, but staying there forever is unwise.

  10. Think of a psychiatric ward like an intensive care unit for those with mental health conditions. It’s not meant to keep you in there permanently, but get you back to being grounded and not spiral out of control. They are important in our society, but the system certainly be reformulated to incorporate psychedelics, for example.
  11. @LordFall In a nutshell, flexible mindset. I appreciate the reminder! Being flexible is something I’ve struggled with for my entire life and have only begun seriously addressing a few years ago.
  12. A connection I made in my worldview is the heavily politicized trans issue in America. Extreme conservatives advocate for blocking gender-affirming care to adolescents because they believe medical professionals and mentally ill parents are “violently” stripping away kids of their natural, innocent state. This worldview is obviously absurd from a more holistic perspective. There are, of corse, improper ways of transitioning a child. However, also consider other ways we gaslight our kids. Such as the failure in our mainstream school system.
  13. Reminds me of my relationship with my dad. I felt like I lost him for 20 years of my life, but after a series of miracles he came back into my life and now we are much healthier, despite not physically being together all the time. Thank you for sharing.
  14. Heh… doesn’t need to just be sex. Could be playing a video game with the bae, such as BioShock
  15. @BlueOak I was personally able to get off of antidepressant, stimulant, and anti-anxiety medications thanks to medical cannabis and psychedelics done responsibility + with an amazing support system
  16. @Reciprocality What I actually am used to doing often is needing reality to be a particular way. So thank you expanding with the cup example!
  17. I personally enjoy l-theanine, magnesium glycinate, fish oil, b complex, and drinking matcha tea. There’s plenty more I’m sure that are helpful.
