I bet that even if I showed them all the scars over my body, they wouldn’t have the guts to approve the medication. They’d still justify why I don’t deserve proper treatment. I’d literally have to be one step away from death’s door before they finally did the right thing. Shameless.

It’s been almost 2 weeks without lifesaving medication that my doctor prescribed. My recovery has been more difficult than it needs to be. I empathize with millions of people who are in my shoes. I refuse to allow the insurance company and their corrupt doctors to dictate which medication I can and cannot use. They put money over people’s lives. My healthcare team and I will resist these spineless dictators.
