Well, is there is a lesson that I got this last 3 months was this. If you or someone is fucking up with your sleep quality you or them are actually killing you slowly. There are thousand videos online about it and is not any gospel, Hubermans and others are preaching it as I was the ultimate savation for humanity. But this video get to the point of everything I had experienced this months the good and the bad. Good, work towards Awakening but if you dont sleep well your health will not be in good conditions even to normy daily live Worth watching

This book talks about the topic of how Language when became writen created subtly a division or split in consciousness and then instead of having a oral Language that is linked with the overall nature, animals,Land and the whole ecology we started having a writen linear Language that kept refleting us to ourselves again and again. To have a better grasp of the juice of the book there is the video from the author so you can see if fit your studies. Of course there always some bias but this book brogth me a lot of clarification in some aspects of Language that I use to have only a intuition https://www.amazon.com/Spell-Sensuous-Perception-Language-More-Than-Human/dp/0679776397

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cm9e5KatKdI/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= I am recieving many news about the topic of companies now starting to rethink all the remote work model. What do you guys think, it all like a pendulum where things started to get to loose and now getting back to strict and regulated. I had a friend that was working remotely and was finding ways to slack a lot, so I can see the point of companies returning to the in-office model.

Follow your interests, ignore the rest. The videos are in YouTube for all to see. They will find of they engage in the rigth search. I even forgot how I found the channel, but for sure I was inquiring in the rigth direction. When you look for Truth it eventually finds you.

Interesting POV on how and why the quality of Movies, especially Heros movies decreased in modern times. Also a critic on how Masculinity was degraded via this movies. I noticed this subtle effects while watching these movies and personaly know is inevitable but still goog to see that I was not the only one to notice it

@StarStruck You can downsize your mentality if you wish to engage and possibily have sex, but ask yourself why do you want to engage in conversation with mindless minds. For me better to save my saliva for good talks.

Family is Karmic bonds, if you are the only one doing healing work, well, good luck. I say this cause is my case. Going to retreats, purging my shit away, observing patterns but when I go to my family I need to be sharp and open eyes or ears as a hawk because the projections, manipulations and deflections in case I speak up are incredebly sneaky. Helps a lot doing the study work from books and from observing. But lets admit that sometimes the best one can think about doing is going as soon as possible as far as possible from the dramas. Sometimes far from them one heals karma better than close. Unless you enjoy the meatgrinder.

Although I can see clearly that when he say "we" he is speaking for an abstract "we" when he say "leave us alone" but still I agree that there is a lot of "utopia" and blindeness to the complexity coming from the side of "they" (whosoever they are). Peterson exist for a reason, channel a certain energy in the air, the voice of "enough is enogth" that many want to speak but cant.

@Jodistrict yes, my point on him is that there is little concern for the planet in the discourse. Is just the we vs them. Whenever I listen someone now a days I ask myself: How much this person is polarizing? Of course zero polarizing is hard but there are cases that is extremely clear. -
Is not Trauma something we hide from view so we dont need to see it anymore? Is not true that a lot of things that guide our behavior are mostly hiden behind cope mechaninsm to avoid facing some hard realities about our relationships be it with parents, society, money or whatever other thing? Well, a random line os events brougth me to a new way to see the word or concept of Dukka that normaly we take as suffering. But somewhere in the video below the writer explain that he found out Dukka as "something difficult to face or see" or as he say, in the therapeutic set "a trauma". He came to his work via the story of Buddha and is known that Buddha lost his Mother in early age so the writer considered that maybe this took the young Siddartha to somehow go into the path of Dissasociation in a way to deal with this traumatic event in his development. And then one day he got the contentment after all years of struggle. Hard to explain so for who wish check the video below What brogth me to this author was another guy that deals more especialy with the issue of Grief and the lack of space in society to Grief loss. For those in the path of looking deep into "things had to see" or Dukka, this is also a good guy to check the work. His name is Francis Weller. Anyway comming back to the problem of using ancient terms is that we somehow lack in may ways the context where these terms came up and we get new modern interpretations that sometimes had nothing to do with the original intent of the word. From the link below https://discourse.suttacentral.net/t/what-is-the-best-translation-for-dukkha/5025 I got this: "The most common translation for dukkha is “suffering.” I have always felt that this translation is nearly a little harsh and have preferred “unsatisfactoriness. " Many years ago I had to translate the Chinese word “qi” 气. I decided not to translate it using one of the common methods; by looking at the origin of character; steam coming off rice. Instead I looked at how the word was used by ancient writers. I noticed that there were about 20 different meanings depending on who the author was and what dynasty. In the end though I was able to trace it back to its most original use, which could be summed up as that vital essence of air or that “thing” within air that gives birth to life, movement and manifestations of the physical world. Can we do the same for dukkha, to see how it was ‘used’ throughout the early suttas and find the correct translation not based on etymology but how it was originally used. One of the issues I see is that so many things are dukkha. Being one of the core concepts of Buddhism I can’t help but feel the importance of a correct translation, especially when I have seen so many different ones with the most recent being “stress." I recently came across a translation of anattā as “void of self”, this translation seemed to make much more sense to me than “non-self” or 无我. One may argue these are minor nuances, but for me these differences in translations are profound as they have very different meanings.

@D2sage Yes, If you are unto Surf as tourist good, come, enjoy, but to live here better get ready to afford the housing prices either to rent or buy and still the insulation quality of most houses are Medieval. Maybe one of the great shits here is that is all set to Turistic Optimization and not good quality of life for the locals. -
When we observe a individual, ourselves or for exemple a bussiness we can somehow have red flags that show that it have chances for growth or that is in a slope path to decadence. In a country. For example I live in Portugal now. And is showing some signs that is making me not so positive to live here anymore. The education system is a mess. Teachers are in a strike since December. Housing situation a mess, Real States selling Golden Visas and Luxury Houses for Retired old people from North Europe and locals having difficulty to cope with the rising prices, The contry forests are not so big and summer everything dry and water is not so abundand. There are predictions of a desertification. So all I can see here is that in the next 30 40 years this will be a MadMax land. There is some source of a metric to evaluate a good place to go for growth. Like, when you evaluate a relationship you aim for not perfection but at least to have some margin to work for growth. For a country, what flags can one look for ? RED FLAGS, blue flags.

Well I never could think that someone really could have this kind of views, but as a ex Mormon I can understand that people can stand of a lot of far off ideas. I use to belive God lived in a planet called Kolob and there he had many wifes. Hehe Now I understand Lex Friedman and Elon Musk and the Trasnshumanists. Jesus fucking Christ I am listening the video below with the question. Where is the Bias of This worldview?

Take a look on this, O mean, dont buy the book, make a short research to see if fit your process. In summa the book deals with the topic that we during life unconsciously do some sort of contracts, for example, one is abused and decide subtly that never again will open his or her heart and so on. So we tend to do this contracts. I got myself always checking sometimes that a small experience in the past create a block in my flow that I would never imagine. So when you revisit that block and see that you created a contract you can recontext it and follow free from that.

Of course this question is for myself and for you and other people with no child in this forum. Although you said reproduction is illusion is still part of existence, not necessarily needed to be experienced by all, but you, do you feel it gonna happen in this life time? If yes or not why?
