I've seen a lot of Leo's videos and I absolutely love them. While most of the time I totally agree with what he says, there's one point that I have a different opinion on. I don't believe that Enlightenment exists. To my mind, being a human being automatically implies having ego that we can't dispose of by any means. Even the idea of destroying ego with ego is somewhat doubtful. Also, there's no legitimate proof that such a thing exists.. it's like believing in God. And lastly, what would life of an enlightened person look like? If he/she was stabbed with a knife, wouldn't they feel pain? Human body doesn't work that way. What do you guys think?

I've put 3 different names and dates of birth on this site just to see what happens. An interesting thing is that it told a similar story each time, but using different words and sentences. Creators did a really good job, let alone the fact that everything seems convincing and compelling

I hardly think it's possible to change a belief without any input or contemplation. Try to convince yourself that crocodiles can fly.. you mind won't accept it. They same applies to your example of having a lot of money.

If I were to choose one thing, I'd definitely be FACEBOOK.

Really interesting question. I would say that if the guy is no attracted to a girl whatsoever, then he won't be interested in being friends with her.

Every time you feel anger or anxiety, write all the details of it (circumstances, what you feel, why you feel this negative emotion) in a journal. It will definitely help you to calm down long-term.

change your mindset a bit: 1) every rejection is a success 2) awkward conversations are funny, you enjoy them and practice a lot

@Actualizer There are no assumptions that are right or wrong. Always try to open you mind as much as you can, this is the idea. -
yeaahh, @Annie I agree. Guys, for those of you who have facebook account - delete it. No excuses. Best life hack ever.

A lot of self-actualized people don't watch TV. Neither do I. Why? Because it's boring, I have better things to do simple as that

Everybody wants to be financially abundant but there's a price you have to pay for it. Do you really think that if you don't want to pay the price for being wealthy, something is wrong with you? ^^

Guys, what you are talking about has no use in real life whatsoever. To my mind, higher self is when you are peaceful and mindful to some extent. The more peaceful are mindful you are, the "higher" the self is

Why do enlightened people go to the swimming pool? They want to flow with life. -
Hmm.. Let me tell you what I really think about it. It seems to me that you kind of want to have such a problem. Like it makes you fulfilled but sad at the same time. And maybe even deep down you know it. You can't get rid of this problem because.. you want to have this problem. Or in other words, your brain wants to have this problem because due to all the studying of personal development, this problem became an inherent part of your vision of how the life should be.

I have the same problem. Self-help books to me are extremely boring, I've never finished one. On the other hand, I love videos/short audiobooks so instead of reading, I listen

@MattFD I used to be a night person also. I would go to sleep after coming back from school and I would wake up at about 1-2 a.m. Being a night person is an easily-breakable habit. Don't change your entire life to do that as I may not work very well. The reason you need to wake up early is not because you have a lot of work to do because you've found this amazing meaning of life.. but rather the fact that you are rested and you don't want to sleep anymore. And if you succeed in waking up at 6-7 a.m. and going to sleep at 9-10 p.m. one time, you'll effortlessly do it the next day Solve this problem mechanically, not psychologically Try it!

I've been searching for some information about determinism and free will, and I came across one of Leo's videos. I realized that what he says makes sense so.. I kept listening

18 I've been into self-development for over 2 years now, but it wasn't until recently that I found Leo.

There's plenty of different types of coffee. If they don't contain caffeine and you drink it without sugar, there's nothing to worry about.

@Argue Diet is certainly crucial. I've never been interested in it much, you'll have do to some research on your own.

@reez It seems obvious to me that you don't know what you want to do in your life and what you are really passionate about. All you do is just general self-improvement, which is also totally fine. Perhaps you should set a goal to find something that you would be truly interested in and go in this direction. It may take a lot of time but eventually you will find this one thing that you want to devote yourself to. My best advice would be: look for this one thing. Sooner of later you'll find it. It doesn't have to be a specific field like programming, online marketing, languages etc. A compelling vision for your life might be also sufficient.
