@John Flores Yeah It's called a "Mobius Strip" and of course is also the Symbol for Infinity. You can make a Mobius Strip out of a piece of paper. If you follow one side around the curves, it connects to the other side because of the twisting. So what appears to be two sides at first glance, really each side is just one side. @Martin123 Good words! Though I want to add that before purposefully Awakening Kundalini, one should ideally Center their Mind in Consciousness, i.e. Nirvana comes first! Kundalini is an effect of the cause of the ultimate goal of Meditation. Enlightenment in this sense means to fill your body with Light/Kundalini, and to cultivate the Light Body AKA The Rainbow Body of the 7 Major Chakras. Matthew 6:22. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light. Centering the Mind is Consciousness is synonymous with the Eye being Single, then the whole body shall be filled with light; Kundalini.

Hey Russell, Great advice and I'm glad you opened up the discussion here. I probably have some things to add but I just want to discuss one of the main themes your OP stated. And that is that Kundalini is burning hot. I've had very real partial awakenings and I was filled with Liquid Golden Light. The thing about this is, the Kundalini CAN be burning hot, but this occurs when the Pingala Channel is the channel that the Kundalini flows. The Pingala Channel being the Masculine Channel. Ida being the Feminine Channel. When the Kundalini is flowing mostly through Ida, the Kundalini is ice cold. When they are Balanced and the Kundalini moves through the Central Channel, Sushumna, the Kundalini is a mixture of the Hot Red Pingala and the Cool Blue Ida. One of the main sources of modern Kundalini literature, 'Living with Kundalini: The Autobiography of Gopi Krishna', details his life of having a spontaneous awakening and living with it for the rest of his life. At first he had the burning hot experience. And then after some research he learned to balance the flow through both Pingala and Ida. After balancing, he no longer was subject to the burning by the Kundalini. All I'm saying is that it is my firm belief that Kundalini is not meant to be Burning, and my experience is that when flowing correctly it is actually a soothing warmth and inner glow of Liquid Golden Light.

There could be something to Zero-Point Energy.

Looking at a Tree and admiring the Nature is different than doing experiments to discover Photosynthesis and etc Scientifically. But that doesn't mean Science can't research Photosynthesis/etc. The understanding of Consciousness Scientifically VS Meditating Consciously would likely follow the same suit.

I'm not convinced that Science cannot potentially research Consciousness. Personally I don't believe it will happen within the next several millennia, (granted Humanity survives that long without destroying everything). Also I hope by this time that Humanity will reach a point where Meditation and Subjective Experience of Consciousness (Enlightenment) will overcome Science.

Two questions for both of you. 1) Are you Enlightened? 2) Are you a Cutting Edge Scientist in 2050*? 1- If not, then you don't have complete understanding on how Consciousness relates to Meditation/Self/Ego/Etc. And thus not qualified to give definitive answers of Authority, (however well informed you consider yourselves to be). 2- If not, then you don't have all the answers on how Consciousness may or may not be subject to objective Scientific observation/measurement/detection/etc. *I said 2050 because Science is always growing in its knowledge, and the tools we may need at our disposal to research Consciousness have probably most likely not even begun to be invented yet.

I was just defending my belief that science can potentially figure out Spiritual things such as Consciousness. My point is that you two defending your position that science can absolutely never figure it out is close minded. Because in 2017 we are not know it all's. We have a long way to go and we'll see things in our lifetime that will blow our minds.

Science is only in it's infancy. How long has it been around? In 10 to 20 years smartphones will be old fashioned technology.

I believe that all Spiritual "things" can potentially be figured out Scientifically as well. Science is still in it's infancy. Spirituality is Ancient. Let's see what happens when the former catches up with the latter. E.g. Science cannot currently measure or even detect whatever 'Consciousness' is... I believe that it potentially can.

Yeah, I'll go as far to say Enlightenment is only the Beginning. In my beliefs, many of the Ancients were Enlightened. What will one do when they are Enlightened? Just sit around blissed out? No, it's a new beginning, a new life starts there. A life we are all meant to have. Also I believe humanity is in a fallen state... ...as Mythology says all over the world
