@Tancrede Pouyat The best way is to practice I would say, there is no resource in the world that can teach you anything more than doing it yourself! And this is something that you can't really "rush" through, you can read every book in the world. But if you don't test it yourself you won't know if it works for you Yea, read those books and I would tell you to read "Models" - Mark Manson as well, it's about how to attract women when being your honest self. So no the "usual" PUA stuff.
-
@Tancrede Pouyat Well, do you mean relationships as in knowing what happens in a relationship and why? Or do you want to be able to hook up with a girl you find interesting on the street? A basic read to start with is always "The Way of The Superior Man" - David Deida, if you haven't read that already
-
@HGGabrielF Read "No More Mr.Nice Guy" - Robert Glover "Six Pillars of Self Esteem" - Nathaniel Branden "Way of The Superior Man" - David Deida and lastly "Models" - Mark Manson Should get you an idea
-
@Enizeo Well, this could save you a hell lot of money in the future, and there is no indirect way for Leo to make sure you really are a student
-
@John Read "Models" by Mark Manson
-
@actualized1 Well as early as possible ain't it? So that you can constantly improve yourself. I am 16 (soon 17) and I woulda loved to be able to learn this stuff earlier on

So today I was at the free workshop given out from RichDadEducation, and I liked it. It was a bit much marketing, and not really something new that I haven't read. But it was still enjoyable according to me. Have anybody else went on those and what did you think of then? They marketed (mostly) a 3-day course which would teach you how to get investment for buying and selling properties (for example) and how you within 12-24 months would be able to make a living out of this. I wonder if there is any book out there which explains the same principles for doing this? Using bridge loans and etc. I have Leo's list on books as well, but I am not certain that they contain the material in this way? I mean a step-by-step system that would help you to get "cashflow" within a while and explains how to get you there. I have read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What Rich Parents Teach Their Children and the Middle Class do not". But does Robert's other books go into mer detail on how to put it into practice on how to get on with a passive income?
-
@JevinR Yes, pretty much. Which is why I'm asking for other book's @Tim Green Thanks I'll check him out @Saarah Thanks! Will definitely check it out @Tancrede Pouyat Which version of the first book? I've heard that Tony's book ain't so good,. I will definitely check out "Not About the Money"

@khalifa You have to go deeper into your thoughts For example, Video Games - Why do you like video games? Is it the challenge? Do you like to play to get better than your friends and get an approval from them that "you are better than them"? Watching movies/series, what feeling does it give to you? Do you get inspired, do you get jealous and why does that occur? I loved playing Video Games, it was a nice waste of time. But the true enjoyment I received from playing online games was the challenges, and eventually I got social approval from friends due to me becoming better than them in many games, which also was an enjoyment. Therefore I can come to the conclusion the enjoyment I received from playing games, and getting good at them. Was challenging myself over and over to eventually get to the next level and buy that super cool rainbow sword And do note that just because you find enjoyment in some things, doesn't mean that it's your life purpose.

@Holdup I see no reason for you to lower your standards, but maybe you have to think about what women you hang around with if you wanna meet a girl to get a relationship with that fits your standards? If you are told being shallow you should be clear with your intentions early on in your "relationship" with a girl, if you two are just gonna stay Fuckbuddies or it might go into a relationship later on, be clear to her with it. Honestly if you want to meet a girl with a slim body and looking good maybe the gym is a better idea than online dating? I personally have REALLY high standards and I can count on my fingers the girls I've wanted to get into a relationship with, and I don't see that as a bad thing for me

@Jhonny Except surgical solutions you won't grow anymore. You should work on your confidence with this I am 5.5 and starting to get comfortable with my height

@pixelwave It sounds to me that you are too needy. Read "The Way of The Superior Man" - David Deida, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" - Robert Glover and "The 3% Man" - Corey Wayne, in that order. No More Mr. Nice Guy is basically the book you should read to get rid of neediness. TWTSM is a GREAT read, and will help you understand what your purpose as a man is, not your life purpose. But what the man's part in a relationship/life is. The 3% Man is mostly about understanding women and attracting them, but is a good read as well.

@John Have you read anything about "pickup" ? There is a FAQ thread here on the forum somewhere about it. And please do remember, that girls/relationship is NOT the goal. They are merely a part of the journey to your goal. If you can get that in your head neediness wouldn't be a problem When you go to a club, just focus on having as much fun as possible with your friends. Be friendly against other people you meet and if you see a girl that catches your interest you can start talking with her and connecting, obviously don't forget to escalate the Physical touching I'd recommend you to read "The Way of the Superior Man" - David Deida. "The 3% Man" - Corey Wayne. "Models" - Mark Manson Together these 3 books should help you with your interactions with womens, and I found them to be the most helpful to me.

@pixelwave Even if I agree you should not interrupt her relationship. You have to be clear with your thoughts in your relationship. It could be that she is in a negative relationship and she wants a way out and therefore is so open to you.
-
@JevinR For me it sounds like you just want the money? And then there is better stuff around to do.
-
@zasa joey It may be something due to their own self-esteem or they can just be messing with you. Me and my friends had a thing to just call each other pussy without any reason, and none of us felt bad for it. However if you are taking their words negatively - even if they don't mean it like that. You should probably say how you feel and ask them to stop, that's it nothing more.

@Roland I know you didn't ask me but I will try and answer anyhow You should never focus on the girls in a sports club/night club or pretty much anything. They are a part of your journey not your goal. 1. You should not drive way too far in order to hit a night club and hit on girls. If they get interested and wanna follow you home, it's not a good thing to have a 1 hour ride home. I would go to a club in your city and get to know some guys and get a social circle before I start hitting on girls. It's not good to be that guy standing in a corner and checking out and only talking to women. Rather be that social guy who seem to have fun with everyone. Later on the night you can start talking/dancing with girls and then take the interaction 1o1 from there. 2. Library/Yoga Class/Church/Grocery Store/Coffee shop is all some places where you can find girls who look good. But standing in a grocery store all day trying to find cute girls is not advisable hehe 3. Social circle is always important if you ask me, some of your friends might have some girl friends who they can hook you up with? Your friends might throw a party where they invite a lot of people and there you meet a girl, same with weddings and such. In day-game it shouldn't matter if you have friends with you or not, just go and talk to any random girl you find cute and might wanna hang out with later on. However, like I said earlier in night-game it's good to have that group of people you can hang out with so you don't just stand in a corner and check out girls who you'd like to talk to. 4. Just go out on the town where most shops are and talk to girls you find cute. At first you can ask something simple as "Do you know where X is?" and ask for directions just so you dare to talk to girls, and when you feel comfortable with that, you can then interrupt and just say: "Never mind of that, I just needed an excuse to talk to you since I thought you were cute. Hey my name is X". Or just skip the direction quest part. The base-point is to basically just talk to any girl you can. So be the cashier/waiter or someone you just see. 5. I don't think there's anyone doing the statistics on that . And it does depend, just because you're experienced doesn't mean you are good Here is a homeless guy who hooks up with girls and end up going to their place to find a place to sleep haha

@Paan It's about neediness. Are you so damn needy of other people's approval that you gotta do EVERYTHING for them. Then you are a people pleaser. There is nothing wrong with helping or pleasing other humans in itself. But are you stepping over your own beliefs/limits to do something that you actually don't really want to do? Then you are too needy of yourself and need to build up your confidence.
-
@Lorcan Well it all depends on what kind of Self-Help you are willing to get into. Is it meditation, something to overcome addictions, something for better habits, socializing or anything else?

@Consept Yes I believe monogamy work. But in today's society you settle with getting a partner. And when that partner is not the "perfect" you'll end up dissatisfied and the relationship will break. Both partners have to be happy for a marriage to be happy, and if one partner Can't satisfy the other person's need (sexual, psychological) the marriage most likely won't be happy. I loved reading "The Way of the Superior Man" - David Deida, aswell as "The 3% Man" - Corey Wayne, where I think both books gave a quite good picture of how to satisfy the other partner if you are the masculine part in the relationship. Wayne's books is free to get on his website ( understandingrelationships.com )
-
@narwhal Hey man! I think you should read "The 3% Man" - Corey Wayne (free on understandingrelationships.com) aswell as "The Way of the Superior Man" - David Deida. And even if you might have a good sex-life. I would still recommend reading "Sex God Method" - Daniel Rose

Would not something such as NLP be more interesting instead?

@Neuroticon I disagree with it giving her a higher value. You are acting as a confident man (high value) and showing you can lead (high value). However you can of course kinda screw it up. Depending on your behaviour The key is to always be in good mood/energy. One technique is just to see yourself back in a time where you just felt AMAZING. What was your voice like? What was your body language like? What did your smile look like? Relive that memory and apply the same voice/body-lanugage/smile. This should take you 10 seconds, once you've done that just say something that you think is true at this moment, one I use is: I am so fucking beast right now. You should also have light conversations with pretty much anyone you meet. The one beside you on the bus/train, the taxidriver, the cashier, waiter and so on. I think you get my point . Most people will respond positively and who knows, it might be your next best-man/wife sitting there next to you

@bazera You can't truly remove habits, you rather have to replace them. You have a signal which causes your behavior and you repeat this eventually until it's a habit. For you to change a habit, you need to use the same signal and reward, but rather change the behaviour. I'd recommend reading "The Power of Habits - Charles Duhigg"
