Do you have any autoimmune disease? Inflammation can cause chronic fatigue because the body uses a lot of energy trying to heal itself. It can also be caused by: Excessive drinking, masturbation, and screen time, vitamin deficiency, etc.

I have just realized how much e-waste originating from 2000-2010 I still own. I have already disposed multiple computers, mobile phones and other devices from that era (walkman, disc man, DVD player, ect.) but there are still hundreds of CDs/DVDs and plastic cases left, even though I have already disposed one large box full of CDs/DVDs/cassettes tapes etc. It was ridiculous compared to the 2010-2020s era as everything had to be made as a physical copy to be useful and practical. And you needed many different devices to be able to play the media. Nowadays you literally just have to own one or two devices with an SSD/SD card and you are good to go. Electronics are now much more ecological than before. It's a huge progress.

Well some people just don't want to be rich even if they have the luck element on their side. They prefer a 9 to 5 job because of security and other benefits. Also, they can be afraid of becoming rich subconsciously.
-
It is about luck. You are looking at things from your selfish perspective. You live in a rich western country. You started your business in the biggest economic boom in the history of mankind. There are no wars and no communist regimes in your country, you have learned some valuable financial lessons in very young age, etc. 99% of people didn't have such luck. My parents didn't have such luck and most of my friends also din't have such luck. Did you have such luck? Yes. Did I have such luck? Yes. But vast majority of people didn't. So earning money actually is and always will be difficult for most people.
-
Let's be completely honest. Becoming rich is mostly about luck. You were just lucky that the younger version of yourself at that particular time found out how to make money without a 9 to 5 job. You probably had a financial backup, didn't have little kids, or health issues etc. You took a risk because you could and it paid out. Now you make a lot of money with minimal work because of the snowball effect. If you started your business today, everything could be different. Keep that in mind and be happy for what you have.

This song always gives me good vibes. Its also very easy to learn the lyrics, so you can sing it yourself.

Well, I own both gold and dividend stocks, but so far gold outperformed most dividend stocks in the last couple of years.
-
Yes, that will be me in 40 years

Collapse to zero? You guys are very funny 😊 It's like saying food is going to collapse to zero. Gold is gods money and a very useful commodity. It has been here since the beginning of times and will be long after we are all dead. No man-made gimmick can simply replace it. Humankind will always come back to gold because it has been the only constant during wars and depressions.
-
In which reality gold is going down? Certainly not in mine because I own gold and it has been a good safe investment so far. Better than dividend stocks or saving accounts.
-
I am not sure about that, because every year, more money went into gold than into Bitcoin and there is no reason why it should change in the future. In the last year, about 2 tril went into gold and 1 into Bitcoin. I don't think we will live long enough to see crypto overtake precious metals.
-
The graph was supposed to show how statements like "Bitcoin is replacing gold" are delusional.
-
Also, there will be flying cars 😂 Last decade gold vs bitcoin.

Amazon competitors have a really hard barrier to entry. It's literally impossible for some new company to start competing with Amazon in the next decade or so. Does Bitcoin really have the same hard barrier to entry as Amazon? What prevents anything else from dethroning Bitcoin as the number one digital store of value?
-
The biggest problem of crypto is that 99% of the world's population will never use it on daily basis. Most of the crypto enthusiasts live in a digital bubble, read about crypto everyday and don't realize that they are just a tiny minority.
-
I highly doubt it. At first glance, Bitcoin seems like its taking gold's position, but you should realize gold is going up as well. When you take gold's market cap and divide it by Bitcoins market cap, they both go up at the same time. Same money is going into gold and Bitcoin. Bitcoin's market cap is a fraction of gold's market cap which creates an illusion. Its the same like in the late 90s when gold didn't gain much value because everyone was investing in stocks and dot com bubble, etc. Crypto is like the dot com bubble. There are people that are still holding dot com domains since late 90s and trying to sell them for $50k or more. Bitcoin owners will end up just like these dot com hoarders that will never get their investment back.
-
One day, this house of cards will collapse and all bitcoin millionaires will realise they own thin air. Once everyone will try to sell their Bitcoin at the exact same time, only a few guys that are fast enough will profit. Others will not even get their initial investment back.

What are you even talking about? This is the most normal thing ever in most southern European countries lol -
Over the years, using a computer became so overcomplicated. There are millions of BIOS options and Windows updates that it takes days to setup a new install. On top of that, you need to install million of programs and login to millions of accounts just to stay connected. Then you pray everything works as expected because if it doesn't, you spend hours googling for solutions. Smartphones are the same and its getting worse every year!

Happy gambling!

You felt free because you had nothing to worry about. You only had to have good grades and help your parents. After school you could do whatever you wanted to and everything was exciting back then. No smartphones, no PC. Just friends and adventures. I also grew up in a village. Nowadays, 10 year olds must have an iPhone and social media or otherwise they will be humiliated by others. -
Listening to music is not a distraction, but binge watching YouTube video clips is. It is just procrastination. I love listening to music while doing manual work, it gives me more energy.

Y'all have thousands of posts on this forums and each post is like an essay. 500-1000 words, or even more. Endless discussions about sex and politics. I mean, it's literally impossible for a real human to spend so much time on one website while going to work etc. -

Tucker Carlson "Have you ever considered conquering Poland, Lithuania, etc?" Putin "Not even in my worst nightmares. Everyone there hates us like cancer lol." -
OK, so the guy believes that most modern genres of music (rock, punk, metal, etc.) only exist because of black people. He than says that Eminem is a good rapper, but definitely not the best by far and that everyone that says Eminem is the best must be racist. In my opinion, a lot of white people prefer Eminem not because he is white, but because they can identify with him. His song are also much easier to remember compared to most other rappers.
