  1. I've just finished studying a forestry degree in which I will spend a lot of time doing manual fisical work such as planting native species, use of chainsaws etc. Anybody here who knows what tends to happen when several industries become obsolete due to an emerging technology and another remains unchanged such as agrarian and forestry (at least in the short term)? So will my kind of manual work become better paid and more sought after or not really. I'm asking because it's my survival and future we are talking about here. Thanks!
  2. Guys this technology is getting too crazy! Latest ColdFusion video on the subject: https://youtu.be/DIU48QL5Cyk

  4. So I eat a very healthy pescatarian diet with 35-40+ plants a week some sardines and tuna. No processed food, no sugar. However I consume a lot of salt...like A LOT. I haven't been able to find any good data on what effects this excess salt could have on my health in the long term taking into account that everything else about my diet is almost as good as it can get. Anybody can let me know? Is it ok to eat high amounts of salt if everything else is in check? What peoblems could I be facing in the future?
  5. recent documentary on the subject.
  6. Thank you everyone for your inputs. ?
  7. @Leo Gura In my particular case, for my particular life goals.
  8. @Leo Gura I don't assume anything. Just want to know if this stuff is real or not. I don't care about acquiring these abilities it's a waste of time. Cool if you have them but it's not a life pursuit worth pursuing in my opinion. Yet it's nice to know magic is real
  9. @Leo Gura Yup it's a waste of time but still interesting to see happen.

  13. With god knows how many vitamins, minerals etc athletic greens sounds like one of the most complete supplements on the market (at a hefty price I may add). Yet research seems to indicate that most supplements do little to nothing for people. Anybody have long term 1+ years experience with the product? Have you noticed improvements in health improvements?
  14. @Michael569 wow! That article is a great read thanks! ?
  15. I'm sorry you experienced this. Please don't let it stop you from pursuing healthy goals and a healthy relationship with food. You tried it, it wasn't for you but thats ok.
  16. Thank you everyone! ?
  17. @aurum 3-4 means a day with 1-2 teaspoons worth of salt in each meal. I want to cut down but before doing that I want to know possible side effects but taking into account that the rest of my diet, exercise, sleep etc is in check.
  18. @UnbornTao Thank you! I've actually listened to this this particular podcast twice before but don't remeber about the salt part. I'll re-listen when I get the chance
  19. @UnbornTao hey, yes I am aware of heavy metals and am making the slow transition from tuna to sardines. As for the fasting I practice intermittent fasting 5-6 days a week going 12-18 hour periods with no food only tea.
  20. About 4-6 teaspoons a day@aurum
  21. Good luck man!

  23. So like now that it's winter when I go to bed I purposely cover myself with less blankets to feel colder, sometimes to the point of low grade shivering at night. I don't have money for those expensive cold therapies and I don't have a frozen lake to swim in. Is this a effective method to experience the benefits of cold exposure? Any other suggestions apart from cold showers?
