  1. @Someone here How is your past imaginary? Your don't think your past happened?
  2. Then why did you make your previous claim?
  3. You may be imagining that you and I are imagining when you and I really aren't. How do you know you aren't doing that?
  4. To me it seems obvious there is a world outside my body. I can literally see it and interact with it. Yet some people claim there is no external world. This seems to be falsified by direct experience. Where am I going wrong here?
  5. But I don't live/exist in your mind. So I am not just in your mind.
  6. On what basis do you claim the present moment is illusory?
  7. The question of whether my life is a dream is something I have been pondering a while since so many people have told me my life is a dream. So my questions are... I find it strange that people claim their life is a dream when they are still living in this world. Isn't it only appropriate to call something a dream once you have woken up from it? And absolutely no human has ever woken up from their life otherwise they wouldn't be here to tell us. Thus the claim seems to be absolutely unsubstantiated. Perhaps I am misinterpreting what people mean. Maybe my definition is out of whack. For me a dream is an experience that is not based on sensory input. What is a dream in your view? What is your definition and on what grounds do you definitively claim that this is a dream? Thank you for your help.
  8. @Inliytened1 Where is your second being?
  9. You did not (nor can you) divide yourself into multiple beings. You will only ever be your single self.
  10. So to be clear you don't think the characters in your night dreams are experiencing but you do think I am?
  11. @JuliusCaesar "If we imagine they have their own perspective then they do, if we imagine they don't then they don't." This isn't true. Whether you imagine that I'm experiencing or not doesn't change the fact of whether I am experiencing or not.
  12. You aren't lucid if you think you are dreaming when you aren't. You're just delusional.
  13. Do you think the characters you encounter in your dreams at night are experiencing? Do you think the people you encounter when you wake up are experiencing?
  14. Disregarding whether you are conscious or not I want to know if you think the characters you encounter during your dreams at night are experiencing anything or not? And now that you are awake right now do you think the people you encounter are experiencing anything?
  15. I'm curious when you dream at night do you think the characters you encounter are experiencing anything or not? And now that you are awake right now do you think the people you encounter are experiencing anything?
  16. All I know is that you aren't dreaming and you unfortunately have no evidence for me that I'm dreaming so this is a dead end.
  17. No you assume I think that. I know you might not be experiencing anything. I'm only asking why you claim this is a dream.
  18. Then I ask you again why you claim this is dream?
  19. But I know experientially there is a world outside of your body. I am generating your sensory input and I am outside of your body.
  20. @Kksd74628 You claim you are dreaming and I know experientially that you are wrong. I am generating your input and I am outside of your body.
  21. What is your evidence that there is no world outside your body?
  22. @Kksd74628 But we only know its a lucid dream in contrast to our waking state whereas there is nothing to contrast the waking state with besides our dreams. On what grounds do you call this a dream as you just did?
  23. So I now understand from watching Leo's video that I am dreaming and that no-one in this world (including you) is conscious or experiencing anything. So my question now is how do I wake up back to my actual reality? Feel like I've been left high and dry.
  24. @CuriousityIsKey Then why did he tell me I'm dreaming?
