No, but I do claim that each religion has explored specific states of consciousness and developed a certain technology to access them. You can tap into those states for yourself but it's like discovering math versus studying maths. It's better to study what has been studied and awake to what has not been yet discovered. Maybe even develop a technology for that like Leo is doing with psychedelics. -

Most people just laugh at religion but have not even gone through the deep end of religion and came out the other way to keep awakening. This is mostly the case with Leo but most people just think they can shortcut, laugh and strawman true religious mysticism. I'm sorry to tell you that you are kidding yourself. This is a general comment not intended to anyone specifically but I wanted to say this from a long time ago... -

They must so. Too awake for most muslim, yet he awoke through islam and that's his flavour. His teachings and readings are profoundly permeated by islam; like intensely answering to you @Breakingthewall . He loved the path that worked for him and lead him to the realization of oneness with God and from that place he taught. The same way with Meister Eckhart. They have the exact same feeling you described but for Christianity. This guy is into something real but just leave him aside and let's forget about him shall we? Here are some quotes about him: "The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love." "Every creature is a word of God and is a book about God." "God is at home; it is we who have gone for a walk." "The knower and the known are one. Simple people imagine that they should see God as if he stood there and they here. This is not so. God and I, we are one in knowledge." "There is a place in the soul that neither time, nor space, nor no created thing can touch." "The outward work will never be puny if the inward work is great." "If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough." "What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action." "The now wherein God made the first man, and the now wherein the last man disappears, and the now I am speaking in and you in hearing, and the now that is everywhere, and nowhere— that now is not temporal, it is the nunc stans [standing now] of eternity." "Truly, it is in the darkness that one finds the light, so when we are in sorrow, then this light is nearest of all to us." -

I've studied comparative religion for many years and it just blows my mind how ignorant people are about religions, even their own religion. Also about Leo shitting on buddhist no-self but then praising selflessness as the highest like, don't you make some connection there? From all abrahamic traditions, to hinduism, shamanism and all the rest, I'm telling you all, there has been extremely awake individuals in ALL traditions. You have just scratched the surface, you have not studied, you have not experienced, you have not awoken, you have not locked and made it your default state. If you experienced the flavour of islam how inmense and humbling it is. If you have experienced the flavour of christianity how resurrective and forgiving it is, bloddy rose like. If you have experienced the flavour of hinduism in it's inclusiveness and energetic vibrance, intricately multidimensionally flourishing. If you have experienced the essence of buddhism, pure clarity and stillness, full seeing non locative. If you have experienced shamanism, what a beautiful race in the unconscious and primal, flipping you inside out. If you experienced the essence of Sikhism, what an elegant theological synthesis and selfless service centric lifestyle. If you have experienced the essence of the Tao, oh what a natural flowness, you cannot imagine how complete it is. Religion is mostly bullshit but there are some jewels that will kill you and fulfill you to your core. Each religion has mastered unique states of consciousness that you will very hardly access in your own. This is the Truth beyond the dogma. -

"There was a time, when I blamed my companion if his religion did not resemble mine. Now, however, my heart accepts every form....Love alone is my religion." Ibn Arabi "Beware of confining yourself to a particular belief and denying all else, for much good would elude you - indeed, the knowledge of reality would elude you. Be in yourself a matter for all forms of belief, for God is too vast and tremendous to be restricted to one belief rather than another." "Do not praise your own faith exclusively so that you disbelieve all the rest. If you do this you will miss much good. Nay, you will miss the whole truth of the matter. God, the Omniscient and the Omnipresent, cannot be confined to any one creed, for He says in the Quran, wheresoever ye turn, there is the face of Allah. Everybody praises what he knows. His God is his own creature, and in praising it, he praises himself. Which he would not do if he were just, for his dislike is based on ignorance." Ibn Arabi "My heart can take on any form: A meadow for gazelles, A cloister for monks, For the idols, sacred ground, Ka'ba for the circling pilgrim, The tables of the Torah, The scrolls of the Quran. My creed is Love; Wherever its caravan turns along the way, That is my belief, My faith." "I believe in the religion of Love, whatever direction its caravans may take, for Love is my religion and my faith." "When you know yourself, your 'I'ness vanishes and you know that you and Allah are one and the same." "I am in love with no other than myself, and my very separation is my union... I am my beloved and my lover" Ibn Arabi was a revered Sufi mystic whose concept of the "Unity of Being" and profound writings on divine love significantly shaped Islamic spirituality, philosophy, and theology. His legacy lies in his intricate exploration of the nature of existence and the soul's relationship with the divine, leaving a profound impact on Islamic intellectual history. Said in other words, it's impossible to fully understand Islam without Ibn Arabi. -

This video cannot be embedded but it's as good as it gets. The essence of Sri Anandamayi Ma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VNTxSBkT7g "When you see the bud of a flower, you perceive the bud only; whereas actually the full blown flower, the fruit, the seed, and the whole plant are contained in that little bud. Manifestation is universal and unlimited, but your vision of it is partial, from one angle, dependent upon what, at a certain time, appears before your eyes. Look with an all-round comprehensive vision and try to find out who a particular 'yogi', a particular individual, in reality is!" ~ Anandamavi Ma Ma also spoke often of the mysterious qualities of the breath and its connection with the mind, and the efficacy of meditating and performing japa in tune with the breath. “From our worldly point of view we perceive everywhere animate or inanimate things; but in reality He who is Truth, He who is consciousness, permeates them all. As soon as the mind understands the fact of His immanence, He becomes active and vibrant within us, at first through the vehicle of the breath, which is an expression of the life-force (prana). Be ever aware of the following: what is called life-breath is really an aspect of universal, all-pervasive power that functions continually. It is indeed one of His forms; He who is Truth-Consciousness reveals Himself in this mode. If with the help of a mantra received from the Guru we can remain concentrated on the breath, or even without a mantra we simply keep on watching the movement of the breath, this will help to steady the mind and also be an aid in our search of Him who is the Life of our life, who is the Whole, the Eternal One.” “Through breath energy, Consciousness pervades Matter. Everything that is alive breathes. When breath stops, you die. Physical life depends on breath. Through Prana, matter becomes alive. Desires and wandering mind make the breath impure. Therefore, I advise the practice of concentration on breathing combined with taking any one of God’s Names. If the breath and the mind become one — pointed and steady, then the mind expands to infinity, and all phenomena are included in that one all – inclusive point. If you think of God with the breath it will purify the prana, the physical sheath and the mind. If you breathe while thinking of God’s Name, you will feel the call of His grace.” - Anandamayi Ma The Teachings Swami Mangalananda. Mountain Path. July 2011. In course of conversation Mataji said: World means that which is in constant flux and thus illusory. This pandal (canopy) in which you are sitting now will not remain to-morrow - therefore it is transitory. Just as a tree did not exist earlier and will not be in existence much later, thus it is impermanent. Why do you not aspire towards Truth and Eternity? According to the doctrine of Vedanta or Advaita, name and form are regarded as illusory. To think of name and form as separate from That which Is - this indeed is false. In the case of a living Vigraha (Concrete External Presence as form) there is no transitoriness. You are true, enlightened, the Atma (Self) beyond all names. You are the Atma Itself, free, Knowledge Itself. So long as God has existed, Maya is also in existence. But God is beyond Maya- just like the external relationship between water and ice. Exactly as ice is nothing but water, so Nirakara, the Formless and Sakara, God-with-Form are one and the same. - Matri Satsang. “A man's belief is greatly influenced by his environment; therefore he should choose the company of the Holy and Wise. Belief means to believe in one's Self, disbelief to mistake the non-Self for one's Self. There are instances of Self-realization occurring by the Grace of God, whereas at other times it can be seen that He awakens in some a feverish yearning after Truth. In the first case attainment comes spontaneously, in the second it is brought about by trials. But all is wrought solely by His Mercy. Man thinks he is the doer of his actions, while actually everything is managed from ‘There’; the connection is ‘There', as well as the power-house - yet people say: 'I do.' How wonderful it is! When in spite of all efforts one fails to catch a train, does this not make it clear from where all one's movements are being directed? Whatever is to happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time, is all fixed by Him; His arrangements are perfect.” ~ Anandamayi Ma

If you serve human beings or animals as such, it is not pure service. But if you serve them with the thought that there is only the ONE, that by serving whomsoever, you are serving God in that particular guise, then and then only does it become real service. Since nothing exists really but the Supreme Being, one should serve THAT alone. Purity means Truth, that which IS. Essentially, whatever aids towards the realization of Truth may be called pure and whatever is apt to retard it, impure. - The teachings of Ma Anandamayi. OLD DIARY LEAVES. Atmananda.

"Do you want deliverance from the bonds of the world? Then weeping profusely, you will have to cry out from the bottom of your heart, ‘Deliver me, Great Mother of the world, deliver me!’ To obtain Her grace you will have to shed tears much more abundantly than when you desire things of the world. When by the flood of your tears the inner and the outer have fused into one, you will find Her whom you sought with such anguish; nearer than the nearest, the very breath of life, the very core of every heart." ~ Anandamayi Ma

@Razard86 Now I get more what you are saying. As I'm naturally inclined to be like that, it's the reason why I felt so little impact by reading it from outside. Lifestyle is a crucial part of awakening that is not stressed enough. -
Davino replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Razard86 I honestly don't think any of what you said is sufficiently powerful by itself to grant you a non dual base line consciousness. I agree with the heart chakra having a key role, but I mean, to get to a point where all the energy in your body flows effortlessly and gracefully you are gonna need some industrial level sadhana for it. Kundalini awakenings for example are a minimum requirement. Dissolving solidities in the body through vipassana and pranayama. Long hours of taoist chi circulation or kriya yoga techniques. Do nothing, meditation to dissolve them in a more surrendered way. Psychedelics to speed up all this process. Samadhis, jhanas, trances etc. This kind of stuff in my experience has the power to really raise your base line consciousness to a non dual state. I was very excited when I saw your post because it's something I'm really working on but what you said seems more a final integration after the hard work, than core practices to abide in non duality every day. I've read many of your posts and sometimes you have said things about your base line consciousness that have impressed me. I would like to ask you how have you really got there? Not from now that you are writting this post, because if you had read this some years ago it would not have made you live from non duality be honest about that. So please tell me I want to genuinly know, how have you raised so much your baseline consciousness? -
"He only who lives consciously, that is to say in Self-awareness, deserves to be called a human being. Without being truly a human being first, one can not become a Superman. By following the social and moral laws, human qualities are gradually developed, after which, when one becomes interested in the spiritual quest and the mind has been purified by divine contemplation, one may go beyond illusion and grow into a Superman. The endeavor to fulfill his real want is characteristic of man; to be established in his true being is the mark of the Superman. Man's task is to satisfy his want by awakening to his true nature; the Superman's task to become perfected in his true being, which implies renunciation and all-embracing Love. First of all try to be a real human being."

Davino replied to vibv's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@vibv How well said. It does make a difference indeed. You don't want some permutations of reality, but it's the same thing that would render all of it. At least from the permutation I find myself in, this is the case. However, serial killers have another configuration of the same isness, to put a simplistic example. Some permutations Leo has accesed must be insane, yet it's always This. Now from this place is when I feel everything truly begins, now I feel at home within myself. -
Davino replied to vibv's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I don't care whether I create meaning or not, it's a meta-understanding of the whole mechanism of sense making. You asume that a true place of no meaning cannot care about creating meaning, but I don't care about that either, you haven't gone full circle about what I'm saying. You still are hitting with some solidities that don't allow you to see the fluidity and aliveness of what I'm saying. Reality, this what isness, morphing into whatever it wants in each breath. Meaning creating is not the point. Neither are all awakenings and states of consciousness or modes of being. However, a profound living experience of what is doing ALL of this and how it is all HAPPENING. It's all within the same context, this what isness and is inseparable from what is being expressed, codependent. I'm not saying nothing is happening, unless truly nothing is happening. If something is happening then that is happening, if everything is happening then everything is happening. It's just synching in with the what-isness that is going on. It's obvious when you get out of the race rat of configuration seeking as ultimate truth. Realize this and then play with the configurations but don't fall in the same trap as me, that's all I'm saying. It's not in the permutation, it is in that which is the permutation, as the permutation, in all permutations and is now in this unique permutation also. Living this, it can only be lived because it is life itself, Reality itself doing it's own thing, being itself, vibing with itself. -

Honestly just wanted to share my last awakening and your post triggered that. Read again what I said: Choosing to live now vs living in the middle ages seems a much better configuration of reality. Yet it is the same one reality that appears as both. I would also choose now but I would not mistake that for final awakening. This is the trap I fell into and see many people in here also falling into the same delusion. To achieve the best configuration of reality and think that is the ultimate, no... Some configurations are more conscious other are unconcious, some are more beautiful and loving, others are hellish, some are Awake, others not... so what? it's the same one no thing that is appearing as that and is identical to that when it is, then it's another thing and that's what it is, it becomes it's own explanation then. Whether you resist or you open to it, you accelerate or go backwards, it's all within the same context and the context is identical to the content and both need each other, even consciousness needs something to be conscious of, even being conscious of consciousness. Obviously I'm gonna choose the ones that align better with my biases of truth, consciousness and love but I'm not gonna be in the delusion that there is some configuration that is Final but rather appreciate more the breathtaking mystery of the presently available experience that can and does all this things. All states, modes of being and configurations are contained and born out of this as this. Also who am I in this game? whatever is the game at play, not any particular configuration! whatever is, that am I. If it's a human in earth then that's it, If i'm dreaming then what ever, If I wake up to God then that's that, if then I'm tripping then that configuration, if I'm meditating then... you see? All grounds and lenses removed, all limits taken out of your mind, breaks disappear, all is lost and what is, stands out revealed as nothing more or nothing less than it has always been, whether with ground, lenses or limits, the same always already what isness. It's happening right now, no need to wake up to it, you can do it, but that won't make it more it. This is all there is. I'm really saying it. It's not the configuration, take out that rubbish out of your mind. You can get there (and please do it) but it will still be this. As This is all there is. -
Davino replied to vibv's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Why is there always a need to put some ground/meaning onto what is going on? This misterious experience can morph into whatever it wants. The point in the end is not in any particular configuration of reality but the sheer magic of reality itself moment to moment. From infinity to nothingness and all the spectrums, it's all being done by the same misterious but obvious reality-beingness. I've come to the crude recognition of this seeking of reality to be awake, godly, or human or loving or whatever it is. I've been losing the point. The nature of experience, which is constant with infinite potentiality and no restrictions. Not in the sense of wanting to explore it and be in one mode vs the other but just basking in it's glory and magnificience that it allows all of this play to go on. Also there is no ground to reality or to experience, not even groundlessness, not even consciousness or God. It all kills itself when you are so it there is no more it, because you are it, no-distance. All is a dream even the awakening of dream is also another dream, even imagination is imaginary. The mistery is always on, this experience (to give it a name) both ungraspable and obvious, both grounded and ungrounded where everything is, and being itself in the beggining, the middle and the end, of this tremendous tail chasing. Awakening is not a high, reality is all there is, whether high or low, it is always already the case. Hope you can see that, but you still have to go through all of it to the other side, to realize you are always in the only side. It all depends on what you want but I'm telling you, the nature of experience itself is constantly the case and even loses itself to itself, we are not making it into a new ground, being free once and for all. When you explain it you lose it even though explanations are also it. The paradox is intense but it's also simple This goes on and on... -
Lol, my respects So that explains your profile picture. This was an absurd but interesting insight ahhahaha

I could tell you different narratives but it all boils down to just a strong intuition that Tiruvannamalai is an extremely spiritually charged city.

Nope but I've been investigating it for a long time. It's interesting to study real case scenarios of how real conscious societies would look like. I mean most of the spiritual communities are just bs. The only more less functional experiment is Auroville and it has been working for a long time so it's worth it to at least go and see. Here is some extra information about a citizen who lived for 6 years:
