So someone who is naturally a slow learner would not be able to have confidence? Confidence is being relaxed and comfortable in as many situations as possible imo. I saw this on the forum few days ago, Julien Blanc: https://youtu.be/w27nenP7fsQ

Your "paradigm" isn't "YOU". You can't change something that's not "you". (Watch Leo's video on free will) And paradoxically this will be the paradigm shift you are looking for. -

Then what need is there for an organized religion? -

I would compare Leo to maybe Osho, Echart Tolle, Ken Wilber....we are lucky that Leo does what he does otherwise we wouldn't be here. Leo clearly has skills that we don't have, we should encourage him in hopes that he produces more content we all enjoy.

We are lucky that Leo does what he does since we all enjoy it. Defending or attacking anyone is exactly what is wrong with fundamentalist religious people. -
Yes because if you did any of these things the consequences would result in a lot of bad feelings (e.g getting arrested or shunned etc). So even when you are acting rationality you could say you are basing your actions on future feelings. All dualities collapse.

@NoSelfSelf Thanks for engaging I appreciate the dialogue. Let me clarify; making a good move (i.e. a rational move) makes you feel good right? So all moves are emotion based. Same with in life. All I am saying is you can't separate feelings from rationality all that well. Nor should you be looking to do that. Leo has talked about this exact same question. Leo explains the pitfall of trying to be too rational in life, a mistake rational atheists fall into all too frequently. The original question is how does chess compare to life. And I was making the point that neither in chess nor life should you be looking to be 100% rational since that is something that doesn't exist.

Nonsense, hasn't Leo taught you anything? All dualities collapse. Why would you want to play or win any game? Because it makes you feel good! Without feelings there would be no incentive to even start playing.

Same, weird how well you described my experience also. Glad to know it's not just me. I wonder if it has something to do with social hierarchy within groups. For example I bet you would feel different if you were the oldest and richest and perhaps best dressed in the group. This may sound superficial and shallow but human groups usually operate on these primitive principles. Or perhaps if you had more experiences in the world than you would also feel more confident. So it boils down to confidence that you get from having experience. Like if you hardly go out and are an average or below average person in most domains of life, you could feel unconfident in a new group of people.

No body is awake but Leo, but don't forget you are Leo. This is the reason. -
If you are on meds for a health condition then it's best to talk to a doctor or therapist to address your specific situation and goals.

@something_else Exactly, travelling is a no brainer move for you, follow your bliss. It will lead to something more

I moved from a Stage Red/Blue office to a stage green/yellow office and it's totally different and better. Perhaps there are better work environments within your field also.

Where can I start kriya yoga? -
It's evolution tricking you to procreate. But what you are describing is completely normal and is probably a reason women weren't allowed into politics and other things in the past because they were too distracting to the men.

Realize there is no free will, sit back and enjoy the show. God can take any form such as someone who never overcomes neediness or some who is born into and will never escape slavery,or someone who is tortured to death at a young age, or a billionaire etc

Sounds pretty profound to me. You deconstructed all of language in a paragraph.

I personally think that trans is a stupid choice and weird BUT I 100% support the LGBTQ+++ movement. Why? Let me explain: The trans issue is about being open minded. Who cares if I someone wants to walk down street or go to work dressed as a wizard or anything else?. If they do a good job then who cares? This is what the issue is about it's about open peoples minds and doing what we feel like doing and not following convention. It's similar to the hippies, they were obviously wrong on ALOT of issues but they were necessary to raise social consciousness. Also the hippies were a backlash against the unsustainable, conservative, and closed minded thinking of the time.
