@Derek White K would say truth is a path less land. There is no way Leo should act.

I have looked into this a lot and I have found that Christianity only has any merit if Jesus rose from the dead. If he didn't rise from the dead then Christianity is a bunch of stories. The evidence we have for him rising from the dead is by supposed interviews with 40 eyewitnesses about 2,000 years ago and decades after the supposed "resurrection". This is simply not enough reason to believe something. -

This question has been getting at me recently, what is the difference between belief and experience? Isn't everything imaginary/ belief? -

I think crypto currency will come and go like pokemon cards did. -

@Dragontech what you happened is you experienced the benefits of meditation. -
Proceed with caution. Most people don't want their reality messed with. And ask yourself why you want to evangelize anyway? I'm guessing you really like Leo and you want to be liked by other people as much as you like leo. But unless you have some sort of authority over the other person they're very unlikely to take your word for all this stuff. Also you're probably not as advanced as you think and so you're teaching can be pretty incomplete. Also teaching is not that great it's very tiring and frustrating and the students rarely get it right the first time. Most of the time you're just going to be wasting your breath and alienating people.

-Just make the content more radical and interesting. -Use the "ta-da" moments. -Use click bait titles. -Make YouTube Shorts instead of clips. -Make clips that give you activities to do (like meditation, contemplation activities)

So if I interview 2 people and they both report having a solipsistic experience and it sounds just like my solipsistic experience. Where is the solipsism in all this? Can someone help? -

Can God be known or will there always be some mystery to what God is? -

Dreams prove to us definitively that the mind can create worlds from scratch. And that therefore you are dreaming now. Realize you are god, and ask yourself why you have dreams within dreams? -

"Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" You could have worm holes like what Einstein's calculations predict. think of the technology possible without the limiting paradigm of niave physicalism? -

Life is a video game, if there were no challenges it would be boring. (Allan Watts and Leo teach this) Also unless you are in immediate physical pain, all your problems are literally imaginary. -
itsadistraction replied to Holykael's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You are God! So ask yourself!@Holykael (Cause I sure as hell don't know either lol) -
itsadistraction replied to Andrea Bianca's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Andrea Bianca you raise a good point, why do we bother trying to be "good"(conscious, selfless, patient, etc) when god is equally "bad" (unconscious, selfish, greedy etc)? -

1 Ego is every word, memory, picture, and idea in your head. Whereas some people in general society equate ego with being "egotistical". 2There is no good or bad. Morality doesn't exist. Check out Leo's early videos on the ego and morality. He explains more there. -

Can Truth/reality be known (through psychedelics or contemplation or yoga etc) or is it inherently mysterious and mystical? -
itsadistraction replied to itsadistraction's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes but this is a partial truth, and the whole truth about your family can never be known. So can the whole truth ever be found? -

Interesting, I've done heroic does of Shrooms which were great, but 5meo gives me flashbacks of anxiety even though I enjoyed the low dose trip for the most part. so I am not wanting to do it that again. Shrooms trip is too long for me to do it routinely. So I'm kinda of off psychedelics for now. -

@Yimpa so can it be known or is it inherently mysterious? Which one? -
itsadistraction replied to Butters's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes I have wondered that myself. I asked my friend if he likes Sadguru and he said "no, because I am not sick, I am happy". Are spiritual seekers just motivated by sicknesses like depression? Are happy but non-spiritual people just shallow, simple minded, and/or unconscious? Do stage orange people who love money really feel happy (like some of them claim to be)? -
The cost of personal development can be outgrowing the people around you. Groups usually behave like crabs in a bucket. Be thankful you are getting out.
