Regret is a fairly specific emotion, and just because you would do things differently in hindsight doesn't mean experiences aren't valuable learning tools as they are happening. We learn by failing. Having said that, I would say just wasting a lot of my time and not valuing certain things in my life enough. lol wtf

You can certainly have massive amounts of love and kindness towards other people in general. But as far as the literal person I am choosing to spend my own personal life with, well, I value myself much higher than what is described here. But again, if you don't, go for it.

The age of the relationship has absolutely nothing to do with how "fine" this is. If this was a "relatively new" relationship and this happened to me I would on the spot dump him just as Leo suggested.
