  1. @Joseph Maynor I only say what I truly believe and know from direct experience, extensive passionate reasearch, integration of hundreds of sources, and deep contemplative observation. Any other form of idea is of no significance at all. All perspectives are partial. What I say is just nice prose and words, if one finds them useful it would be nice. If one sees my ignorance and arrogance he will learn to not be that.
  2. Look no further than Self and god. Also I find deep connection in my spiritual group. Sharing and listening without judging. The best relationships are the ones without emotional attachment, they allow you to be oneself authentically.
  3. They sure are. Except they don't know it and don't know what it actually means to be enlightened. How can you look for something you never saw? If I told you to go to a store and buy a gimfaragle, what would you look for?
  4. @Joseph Maynor I would say that trying to reduce one's emotion by trying to think of someone who's worse off is impractical and suppressive. Indeed such an experience of losing a parent changes you in the most profound way.
  5. As simple as a shoe. It's so simple the mind can't fathom it. To accept reality as it is, is just to want what is. Love everything and everyone as they are right now. Don't expect any change, any future. Simple unconditional love.
  6. Let go of letting go too. Accepting of reality as it is = letting go of it = letting go of self = no desire = no suffering
  7. It's all right in front you right now, if you think you exist you do, if you think reality exists it does. But what if you didn't think? Try and see. To try and rationalise non-duality is to bastardize it. It's post logic and rationality, linearity, language, symbols. Anything you say about it, it is not, any conclusion you reach is pure fantasy and delusion. You got it right, there's just "raw" data, but having a symbolic system to navigate this void is pretty useful, it is existence as we know it, and we can only live and communicate through it. At the highest level of attainment there's ultimately no difference between the spirit and matter. Watch Leo's new video for more depth. Samsara is Nirvana, Nirvana is Samsara.
  8. Sounds legit. If you scream you definitely exist!
  9. I'm afraid that's a common misconception of what he said. It's also out of context. Life is suffering! Simply let go of it. No life = No suffering
  10. You can bend reality anytime you want. You are doing it all the time without knowing. By existing, and making reality exist, you created reality, and so you can make it anything you want. (But not the false you)
  11. @Arhattobe Deep spiritual cleansing, which is what I'm talking about is way more important than enlightenment. Also growing yourself up stages. I see by your words that you have much work to do on humility, acceptance, being loving, and openmindedness. The very saying: "I'm not here to learn." Is extremely alarming, full of arrogance and ignorance. Again please tell me if I'm being too frank. Because I see you are sincere and really want to look at things.
  12. The master is doing many things, while not doing anything. No-control doesn't mean there's nothing to do. The ability to do magnifies incredibly upon realization of no-control. You gotta get there to get it.
  13. Practice spirituality very deeply to resolve. Also watch leo's latest video on self inquiry to understand the relationship between matter(self-actualization) and spirit.
  14. @Arhattobe Based on what I see, there's resentment in you towards ignorance. Any resentment, even if based on reality, is a hindrance of the love within you. Learn to love ignorance to death. Also forgive me for being frank : ) Surprisingly enough that's just what jesus tried to express in his famous words. All is love, all is god's will, it's all ok, forgive the ignorant for they are the left hand of god.
  15. Yuval is an enlightened man (stage yellow I presume), he's writing this book from a perspective of non-duality, which is the essential core of "spirituality". He had practiced vipassana for 14 or more years before writing this book. The only method known to man to be free of these entities is true spiritual practice.
  16. "Sri Ramana occasionally indicated that there were three classes of spiritual aspirants. The most advanced realise the Self as soon as they are told about its real nature. Those in the second class need to reflect on it for some time before Self-awareness becomes firmly established. Those in the third category are less fortunate since they usually need many years of intensive spiritual practice to achieve the goal of Self-realisation." What do you think? Is it possible that some people hear it once and get the big E? Seems unreasonable.
  17. @TheAvatarState Do you blame a child for drinking bleach? Or the irresponsible parent?
  18. @TheAvatarState She said that she read many books, so she heard what he said a million times over, but it just didn't register. If the person is not ready it's just not going to happen. She had to grow and develop to reach that point. So I guess in a sense the spiritual path might have helped. Still we don't know that she got it there while talking to Rupert, or will ever get it. Some people simply aren't meant to wake up in this or the next couple of life times, that's just evoulution.
  19. I'm happy to hear man. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. The video though, made me quite sad, to see this woman who was looking for 40 years for something she just can't find. And then the man who keeps telling her the same thing one tells a beginner seeker. This made me realise that there might be a need to recognise when people are not ready, and to keep this trap away from them. She literally burned her precious time doing this to no avail at all. Is there really no other way to help her be conscious and meditate? If we only had a way to recognize and give people the material they currently need to develop, and keeping the too advanced material for when they are ready. I realise how crazy that thought is, but what else can we do?
  20. @purerogue Some good points. I think he might have referred to which stage on the spiral the seeker is.
  21. @Hellspeed Please pay attention, no one told you to accept any authority, it was your own projection. We can hear and contemplate ideas without automatically believing them. But if you judge and disqualify them prematurely you will lose precious contemplation time, and miss potentially deep insights.
