If you don't like the word love, you can replace it with caring. God is indifferent because God equally cares about everything. When you watch a movie the screen equally cares about everything that appears. So you can use care if you want. Existence cares about itself absolutely. You are attempting to separate yourself from separation. Attempting to separate yourself from separation is also a lie. Stop trying to escape!! LOL. You are trying so hard to escape. I'll explain what my experience is since you guys don't seem to get it. I experience BOTH separation and the lack of separation. Get it? Your whole life before enlightenment is just separation. When the boundary falls you experience BOTH. Nonduality INCLUDES DUALITY!!! It is just pointing to the fact that you are only eating one side of the cake, you can also eat the other side. That's why they use the before enlightenment chop wood carry water, then you get enlightened and you go back to chopping wood carrying water. Enlightenment is freedom because you realize you can look at life however you want. The only reason we push towards silence, is because the only truth is what is, and it doesn't need our conceptualization. But guess what? Conceptualization is actually play. We don't do it because it needs it, existence doesn't need anything. We do it because its fun!! We do it because...what else is there to do? There is nothing else to do!!! There is no reason to do anything, and that is the reason to do anything. God creates itself as a child, and is free to do what it wants and is socialized into being an adult, and then awakens and realizes it is okay to be a child. Do whatever you want. Regain your child-like imagination. -
There are many ways to measure the efficiency of a scorer but today I will use what I believe based on its applicability is the most accurate. The metric I use if I want to understand how efficient a player is in scoring in basketball is POINTS PER SHOT ATTEMPT. With this metric it accurately includes 3 pointers and can also include freethrows without creating statistical noise that true shooting percentage and effective field goal percentage create. For example: Player A takes 10 shots and hits 5 of them and each shot was a 2 pointer. This player thus went 5/10 and scored 10 points. Player B takes 10 shots and hits 5 of them and each shot was a 3 pointer. This player thus went 5/10 and scored 15 points. Player A scored 10 points on 10 shots so they scored 1 point per shot. Player B scored 15 points on 10 shots so they scored 1.5 points per shot. Now here is a nice insight you can take with you. Many people do not include freethrows as part of the shot attempts. If you want to do this you can. They like to count freethrows as extra points seperate from field goals. But notice this, if you include the points off freethrows it can equal a three pointer, I'll explain. There are two main freethrows in basketball not including technical foul freethrows which are different. There is the foul freethrow which rewards you for attempting to score and being prevented because of a foul (excessive physical contact), and what is referred to as the "And 1" where the same contact was made but since you made the basket we reward you with one extra freethrow. If you attempt a 2 point shot and are fouled and don't make the point you get 2 freethrows worth 1 point an attempt and if you attempt a 3 point shot and are fouled you get 3 freethrows worth 1 point an attempt. Now with this understood watch this... Player A takes 10 shots and hits 5 of them. Player A also got fouled on a 3 point attempt and hit all 3 of them and was fouled on a 2 point attempt and hit 2 of them. So player A went 5/10 from the field, and 5/5 from the freethrow line. If you do not count freethrows as field goal attempts and are still doing Points Per Shot. You could include the points from the freethrows without including those attempts as field goal attempts. As such player A scored 1.5 points per shot on 5/10 shooting because they also hit 5 freethrows. If Player B never got fouled and awarded freethrows then even though Player B hit more 3's Player A made up for that differential by drawing fouls and hitting their freethrows. Why is this important? Because the NBA is currently obsessed with the 3 point shot. But your ability to score in the paint effectively and efficiently, draw fouls, and consistently make your freethrows is equivalent to hitting 3's. The only difference is your ability to draw fouls is based on the subjective interpretation of the referees whereas you hitting 3's is based on your ability to shoot the ball. ^^^^Understand why God makes it hard for Big Men to hit freethrows consistently. If God allowed that to be normal, shorter players wouldn't have a chance.

There is no difference. Reality, God, is Selfless, this means it has NO QUALITIES. This means it has NO APPEARANCE. This is why it is eternal. All form is like cutouts of the blank each with their own qualities and limitations. Something that is selfless is all-encompassing. Because it is blank it cannot be effected by anything. So how your experience has pain, and suffering....is because of love. God COULD make an appearance just happen upon this blankness that it is without pain and suffering, but that would rob God of the experience of what it is. Close your eyes, think of an apple, notice you can create an apple. But can you actually experience it? No!!! So God not only thinks things into existence, it experiences it. Why? Because whatever God creates it LOVES!!! This is why all experience is LOVE!!! It's so simple. You try to separate determinism from allowing. What allows is what determines and what determines is what allows. Talking about difference. LOL there is no difference!!! -

It's called enlightenment. Enlightenment =To illuminate from within. What is this illumination? The illumination is that what you think is seperate or outside is the same as within. Awakening is just a momentary experience, a flickering. Enlightenment is no longer a flicker, the light stays on and doesn't go out. So unless your daily experience has dissolved the barrier between outside and inside, then you are not Enlightened. You may have had an awakening, but enlightenment is permanent. You have to fool yourself to not be enlightened, once you have seen through you cannot fool yourself anymore. You can pretend if you want but the seriousness is gone. Hell you can pretend to be serious if you want. -

Because reality is an infinite perspective and an infinite echo chamber, depending on the perspective....every ego is shoving their beliefs down their throat. Someone can read what you post and claim you are shoving your belief down another's throat. It takes two to be in a conflict. If you argue with me and I remain passive, then you are the only one doing the shoving. The moment I engage in the argument then the two of us are shoving our beliefs down each other's throat. So notice you pretend to be one who is not, but you are. The ONLY way to not engage in that activity is to allow other selves to have their way with you and to never speak up and disagree. So yeah...it's all just a game of self-denial you play, and this is how you construct your identity. Lastly just to poke a little fun at what you posted. Your title is "Nonduality is not to be spoken of. Nonduality is simply to be. (they will never know) Let's change it for fun. Nonalcoholism is not to be drunken of. Nonalcoholism is simple to be. *Drinks some wine* If you truly stand your ground... if you indeed walk your talk, to the best of your abilities... Sooner or later, this realization should hit you. And I'd dare to say later, rather than sooner. 'Way after' your self - realization, your karmic return, and all that jazz. Once you have awakened to a certain degree, and you brought that Light into you everyday experience... You will inevitably realize; you simply cannot make anyone truly, really, wholeheartedly understand. They will never know. Simple as that. Fucking hilarious, indeed. *Drinks some wine again.* Onlooker: But hey aren't you drinking too? Duality is contradiction. Of course what I post is contradictory. Such is reality. In one post I might rant about relationships, in the next I'll say there are no people and no relationships. *Drinks some more* Onlookers:....That guy is crazy. Why is he telling us to do....what he refuses to do? Why doesn't he walk his talk and stop drinking. He probably thinks that he needs to drink to relate to us, but we would understand him more and take him seriously if he stopped drinking. Onlooker: I think he is in his own world, I don't think he clearly sees that he is no different than us and is just fooling himself. Onlooker: You mean he is self-righteous? Yeah he doesn't realize we are all him and he is just ranting at his own reflection. Ohhh got you. He's like that guy that watches his favorite team plays sports and when they make mistakes he criticizes them. So he is doing this because he loves and cares deeply for us. Onlooker: Of course he does, why else would he be ranting and raving? Onlooker: Oh I got you!!! Wow!! Onlooker: I think he is just telling us that eventually he is going to leave us and stop drinking or at least that is currently what he wants to do and wants to share that with us. Onlooker: Look how lovey-dovey that guy is!!! He cares enough about us to share his thoughts!!! Onlooker: That's love man!!! That's love!!! -
This is a short clip of overpoliteness run amuck. One of the issues you will experience if you haven't experience already is most egos care more about feeling good than being accurate/truthful/honest. As such when you point this out you will be demonized. The ego is capable of infinite demonization, I mean literally God as the formless is just observing everything and egos point to God and say you are evil, why don't you change things? So you are damned if you do and damned if you don't when it comes to intervening or not. If God did that, God would be a tyrant, if God doesn't do it, they still call God a tyrant anyway. So understand that sometimes it is better to be hated, to keep people alive. ^^^This is what maturity is. Maturity=Willing to suffer for the greater good.

You all complicate Enlightenment so much, its none of that. I'll give an example so it makes sense. Let's say you are Mario in a video game, and you become aware ABSOLUTELY that you are a video game character and the video game itself!! Well now you are officially enlightened. Now let's say there is another video game character let's say there name is LEO and they tell you, well I understand MORE of what is going on!! I discovered the code and how to jump between stages, so you aren't really woke at all!!! HAHAHHA Is Mario still enlightened? YES!!! The point was to realize he was a video game character and the video game itself. But does Leo have a higher more indepth understanding? Yes, because he figured out how to jump between stages so he is operating more from the video game identity which is creator mode. So both are enlightened and are sufficient to wake any other characters up, but that Leo character can offer them something beyond just enlightenment. With that said this is not an endorsement of Leo, it's just letting you know that you all are letting Leo confuse you. He poo poos it because from his point of view he is saying he discovered a more FREE WAY to experience reality than just awareness of what is going on offers. -

It depends on what level you are at in consciousness. Since God is everything, God is doing everything. But God's power is so powerful it can appear that the human identity is doing something. You can reach a state of consciousness where you can watch your human character doing things no different than watching characters on a screen. This will surprise the hell out of you. You have the power to attach yourself to your human character and believe you are doing something or unattach and watch things happen. Your suffering comes from thinking you are doing something. As God you can choose how you want to experience life, you can go deeper in immersion or you can wake up more. Of you can do both LOL. -

Based on your descriptions you are still experiencing separation. When you are fully enlightened you will know ABSOLUTELY that you and everyone you know is pure imagination appearing in Universal Mind. You will cease to experience any separation whatsoever. -
Razard86 replied to mike41's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Do you still feel a physical separation, or has that boundary dropped? -
Razard86 replied to mike41's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
1. Just explain your experience of reality. I don't see it in the thread. 2. You don't need a lineage, you teach what you are aware of. Based on a few of your responses I don't think you are enlightened because you don't need qualifications to teach. Teaching is just a sharing of what you are aware of. If you don't want to view yourself as a teacher because you think it is arrogant, just reconceptualize yourself as a sharer and share instead of teaching. Also...enlightenment is imaginary just like nonenlightenment is imaginary as well. -

I bolded the parts so you can see. Anytime someone asks you what are the pragmatic implications....they are asking you how does this impact my survival. Meaning and survival are one and the same. So yes, he is asking how does this benefit/impact/influence my life at all? Another way of saying...is are there any point to these questions at all? There is always subtlety in communication. -

Now....can you do that with everything? Explain motion.... -

1. Do you tell people you are enlightened? Enlightenment is a game like anything else. If you truly understand what Enlightenment is...who are you telling? One of the problems with Enlightenment is it can create a Spiritual Ego that wants to brag that it is Enlightened. It's a normal trap though and part of the process. 2. Would you tell a romantic partner? It depends, if they show signs of wanting to pursue the path then I'd offer some guidance. Outside of that I would just drop breadcrumbs that are equivalent to the level they are at. This takes a certain level of discernment to do that though. 3. Where do you go to meet another person who is enlightened? I believe there are certain people on this forum who are enlightened based on their posts and responses. So the answer is here, but I don't know anybody in my local area who is. 4. Do you think that enlightenment alone is sufficient for teaching in the Zen tradition or does teaching require learning a more formal system? Part of Enlightenment is expressing your unique perspective. Why are you trying to teach the Zen tradition specifically? Are you aware of the limitations of the Zen tradition? Once enlightened if you have the skill of teaching and expressing in words you won't need to use any formal system. 5. Describe your current subjective experience since you make the claim that you are enlightened. How do you experience reality? -
This is an interesting perspective. You stated that chess was never supposed to be about that. I'm sure you could make that argument about basketball when James Naismith was using peach baskets as a goal to score on. I think with most games you age out at some point and that's why people who play games for a career eventually go on to do something else. Also with your point about threading a very fine needle, you can make that argument about almost anything at this point. Outside of working for the government pretty much anything in the private sector is just survival of the fittest. Also now with all this A.I. technology streamlining previous work is going to push a bunch of jobs out. I think the OP is probably better working for a non-profit on some of those emotional/sociopolitical ideas he was bringing up if he has a passion for that line of work. But I would suggest if he wants to become a Grand Master he needs to devote himself like a demon to practicing ridiculous hours. Only problem with that...is burnout can become a likely result.

Do you understand the principle of impermanence? 1. It happened in your sleep 2 years ago. If you are sleeping fine then its fine. 2. If you are too scared to do spiritual work then don't do spiritual work. 3. Your root chakra is ALWAYS active, its called the root chakra for a reason. Go do some research on the chakras if you want to understand how they work. 4. Here is some music that works on all your chakras.

I want you all when you have time to talk about your first big WOW moment when you had a mystical experience that confirmed Reality was Pure Imagination. How did it feel to see that nothing you read could compare to the power and mind fuckery you felt when it happened? Was their existential fear? Let us know. For me it tied up every single moment in my life up to that point. I was like...of course, of course!!

LOL I'm glad you noticed he was really asking about how does this benefit me? LOL. It's pretty interesting as that is the main question an ego asks. It's like so what if God exists? If that doesn't benefit me why should I care? But the more interesting part about it.....is if you didn't care...you wouldn't be here. Cognitive Dissonance. You do care,....you just are having second thoughts.....and are trying to rationalize why you decided to come here and seek answers. -
What question do you have? I find usually it takes time for the answer to come. You have to drop all pretenses, and you need to remember that your ego wants something self serving on the individual level. The ego does not want to know that its a vessel for the spread of love. It wants to know how it can get its individual goals met. Its like a chess piece being used doesn't want to know its a chess piece, it doesn't like that perspective.
