You can definitely deny your human self out of existence. But it is still part of the scenary. But if you want to experience reality like those Neo Advaita do you can certainly do that. -

Another analogy is think of yourself as an alive scenery that is always alive. -

Yes it's all an appearance for itself. So here is the trippy part. Everything is alive and dead at the same time. And your entire identity is the totality of your experience. Nothing else exists outside of what you acknowledge as existing. So cartoon characters are just alive as the humans that draw them. When you draw a stick figure you are literally creating life. That one insight will blow your mind. -

If there was no experience there wouldn't be something. Imagination is a something. It's an amorphous shapeshifter. -

It will collapse into more static empires.....because the map is both the territory and not the territory at the same time. Ask yourself this....how the hell you know language at all? All knowledge is intuitive. Intuition, knowledge, and being are the same. Any attempts to separate them WITHOUT knowing how they are united...is delusion. Many of you have fallen into the trap of demonizing language not realizing that your human brain was designed to retain and capture intuition through models/maps. The reason many of you cannot remember your trips, is because your map making is not sufficient to translate the information. Is their something lost in translation? Sure. I cannot give you the experience of water in words, and if you have never experienced a liquid of any kind words would have no meaning to you because you need a frame of reference to have meaning. But maps can also be guides for those who tread the path later to verify. So if I explain what liquid is to a person who never experienced it, when they finally experience it they can reference what they were told and can now make sense of it. This is why schools and education exists. Humans learn and transmit that knowledge to future generations that have not yet had those experiences. Always remember....there are no humans, humans are just God as a bipedal creature. There is only God here. Education is not a mistake, words are not a mistake, these are creations of a divine infinite intelligence. -

It needs a frame of reference to experience it self as being a particular way. But it doesn't need a frame of reference to know itself because a reference is an appearance. What's happening right now...is all appearance and you reference the appearance to respond. If existence doesn't appear....how can it know itself. It can know itself as being sure....but being WHAT? The only reason you are the specific person you are, is because you want to know yourself a particular way and a particular way is a ground. Does it need a ground? To experience a perspective and to KNOW that particular way. Now it could just be infinite and know itself as Infinity.....but that is no longer knowledge of a particularity, its knowledge of everything and knowledge of everything is too freaking big to do anything with. Basically....God is so big...God has nothing to do because it is everything and knows everything. It can't gain, it can't lose, it can't achieve, it cannot even share its love. God can't share....do you know how sad that is? So....God creates creatures....so it can finally have something to do, and it can finally share something. -
Razard86 replied to Princess Arabia's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What part is confusing you. I'm not saying it needs a ground...I'm saying it creates a ground. If it didn't create a ground, it would have no frame of reference. If there was no frame of reference, you couldn't be typing right now. Spirituality is just an investigation of the opposite of duality. It is why it is called Non-Duality. There is a duality, but the duality is constructed. It is constructed through trickery. It's like telling someone there is no magic, when the magician does the magic trick. There is magic, the magic....is the TRICK. Undo the trick....and the magic/illusion is gone. That's all. I'm explaining how the past, the future and the present are the same. Reality is a CONSTANT generation Your visual field is not a stable field, it appears stable. It is a constant STABLE flow, so stable, it looks still. But it is a generation. It's constant. If it wasn't a generation there could be no progression and you couldn't create time at all. Look at this flip book It is a bunch of still images, that are being replaced. As each frame/page is replaced it shows something different. Speed it up and it appears as motion. Reality is an infinite replacing frame. This is why it is pure magic. It is disappearing and reappearing at infinite speeds. Like an infinite flip book. -
The Spiritual Path is highly paradoxical in nature and growth can from certain perspectives be seen as a regression. What determines which is more true? The barometer is always the same, SELF-LOVE. Whichever is more SELF-LOVING, which means whatever is less biased, which is the same as whichever creates the most separation, which ever creates more aggrandizement or debasement, is the opposite of PURE LOVE. Pure Love is unconditional, PURE LOVE is the only objectivity, because it has housed within it all subjectivity possible which means it is the only perspective....that can see an object for what it is because it can see all permutations (expressions) possible. Now...with that introduction out of the way.... take a look at this video transcript and the responses in the comment section. https://www.actualized.org/articles/what-is-karma Analyze the core message of these two paradoxical views. Look at the time stamp....this signifies growth and maturity. The 2nd video was released years later. Notice how the focus has changed. Now the point of this exercise is not to criticize....even though I can visualize Older Leo calling younger Leo a "Buddhist Rat" and bragging that he has wrested himself from the bullshit of humanity and has now attained a much more pure perspective. With that said....you can use this as a tool to look at yourself. Have you changed? How has your spiritual path might have made you a different expression as opposed to how you were a couple years ago? The second video does seem more on integration/day to day, where the first video is more inquisitive. But notice in the comment section of the first video....the day to day is visited as well in discussions. So this is definitely unique. Me personally, I never agreed with the 2nd video completely, but it does have nuggets of truth. You have no idea how much your environment influences you. The music you listen to, the people you associate with especially have strong influence over you, the people you look up to as well. I'm not saying they are bad, I'm saying they can prevent you from expressing yourself fully the way you want to be expressed. But I'd caution cutting off socializing entirely as being appropriate for most people. The most important function that socializing plays is two parts. It exposes weaknesses/limitations in your perspective, and it exposes lack of fluidity/open-mindedness, close-mindedness, rigidity, selfishness within you. Basically socialization is a GREAT MIRROR. I'm going to make a thread later on how important environment is on your self-expression and how maybe even MOVING from your state or country might be a possible solution if you cannot create an internal change within yourself in your environment. Anyway, what is your opinion on these two video? Do you think they can coincide or do you think they are too oppositional? I personally believe avoiding the extremes is more reasonable.

I'll give a couple of analogies to help. 1. People like to create a duality of a puppet and a puppeteer. So I will give an example. Close your eyes. Imagine a human holding a puppet. Now that puppet is moving and talking because the human is controlling it....now erase that human entirely....what is left? A puppet moving without a puppeteer, talking moving dancing, singing. THIS is why your true self cannot be located because the puppeteer is invisible. It cannot be located. 2. Now let's explain what the past is so you can stop getting lost. The past is a repeat pattern. All of reality is just a flow of mental information. As you said that is always happening presently. Right now it is presenting it to you in sequential order by having repeat patterns. I'll explain. When you write the words down you just wrote....they don't disappear. That is because the moment you write them down...they keep repeating their existence. They don't disappear. And then you also have the ability to repeat the visual imagery in your mind of you writing them down which is just repeating the same mental information again. Notice all of these repeat patterns happen in the present moment. So there IS A PAST, it is just a repeat done in the PRESENT MOMENT. Now the reason we say there is no time, is because God is like a BOOK. If you write a book, in that book there is a story with a world. In that world there is time and space and events. When you close that book, and open a different book that time and space and events of the previous book are gone. This is why they say there is no time. They are wrong. There is time, it's just bound to the specific world that it is in. And once that world is done, you can create a new time and events. God could end this entire existence, and create an entirely different universe with a NEW set of rules. So God is not bound to time or space. This also means all universal laws are arbitrary and are NOT immutable because God can just change them if it wanted. Also the future...is just a prediction of what is going to come next. I will show you how you know the future. Move your hand from left to right and up and down. Now, try to see if you can trick yourself into NOT KNOWING where you will move your hand next. You will discover, you can't trick yourself. So you know the future movement of your hand 99.9% of the time. (You could have a stroke, or obtain some neurological disorder that removes this knowledge). So there you have it. The future is just a prediction of the current pattern of the flow of mental information done in the present, and the past is just repeating a pattern in the present moment. We are lucky reality isn't just erasing everything as it happens....because if it did, there would be no past at all. So reality has to do this to create a ground. -

You are so deluded, I'm glad humans don't get God's power because if you did you would actually judge your creation. It's such a good thing God is good and not actually anything like you silly Christians believe. -

Lol I think you are getting the relative confused with the Absolute. It's illusionary from the Absolute. But relatively from the relation of the dream its not illusionary. Like how a movie is fake, but for us to discuss the movie we have to discuss it like it's real to understand and gain depth about that world. -

If God didn't need instructions, school would exist and neither would parents. God needs instructions because God dumbed itself down into human intelligence. Then it gets confused and looks around for advice. -
Razard86 replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I'm not giving the ego....the ego is just a belief, a thought. That's the trick. The instructions are for God. Because there isn't an ego. This transcript goes very well with this post also. https://www.actualized.org/articles/what-is-karma -

I'm saying there never was a boundary ever. Boundaries are just constructs of a mind. A true boundary is a separation. For example...if a wall was truly a boundary....you couldn't experience it. But if you construct a relationship between a wall and something behind the wall, then you create a boundary. But how can the wall actually be a boundary? Only in a relationship you construct. This is what construct awareness is about. You experience life based on how you construct mental relationships. So yes, a wall is a boundary, in a specific relationship, but the existence of a wall is not a boundary. You can see it, you can touch it, you can taste it, you can smell it. So this is what I am referring to. Boundaries don't actually exist, only in mentally constructed relationships. -
Razard86 replied to Dodo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's not about opinion. There are no boundaries. If there were, nothing can actually happen. You have never encountered a boundary in your life. There isn't even a physical world. That's what is being communicated. Everything you ever experience is just imagination. -
I realize that people who have emotional issues have a couple of key problems that hold them back from dealing with them. 1. They do not have the ability to stop repeating emotional and thought patterns. You can stop these patterns by questioning them. You can question them to death and destroy their validity but that can only happen with a nuanced understanding of what they are trying to express and having the ability to expose the limits of that expression. When you can see the limits of an expression it loses its value....and dies. For example: You could have a person who has a fear of disappearing. They would need to question "Where does this belief that I am going to disappear come from? Is it me being afraid to die?" This person would need to overcome the desire to be in control of things and to accomplish this they would need to question what is control, and what does it mean to be controlled. This may bring them to the question of free will and what is will? They would probably need to solve that question to ever reach a state where they are okay. One of the key insights that society gets wrong is that humans are responsible for their actions. Humans are not responsible for their actions, Reality is responsible for their actions. Humans erroneously think that people choose to do things and this is one of the issues. I once had mystical experience where my body acted completely on its own, and I was just observing it. My body began to panic and tried to run from the experience and I sat there as awareness and watched and was confused as to why it was scared as everything was alright. THIS is when I realized what it meant by humans were asleep. A normal human would have been identified with that panic and became that panic. What humans don't understand is the body has its own intelligence and will, it eats when it needs to, it talks when it needs to, it sleeps when it needs to and all of these processes happen on their own. Once you realize that the body and its corresponding mind act autonomously and are not being directly controlled by anything that is when you can escape the mental delusions of mental suffering. This doesn't mean negative thoughts and emotions won't come up it just means you will not get stuck in them and thus keep torturing yourself. But I realize that until this realization occurs, you will very much think you are the body because you are conditioned to think so. 2. When you realize that when it comes to finance you can make wise decisions, but you do not control global market forces. Your ability to make smart decisions is based on your ability to delay gratification. The less you are influenced by immediate desire the more clear you can see things and plan accordingly. But in finance risk is an inherent part of the cycle and you need to be okay with getting mediocre results regardless of how much effort you put into it or not. We have been conditioned to believe that effort = success but this is not so simple. Some are just more fortunate than others. The problem is if you are unable to accept that some are more fortunate than others then you will struggle to maintain you mental stability. You will become ungrounded emotionally and become a victim because things are not being tailor-made for you specifically. A key part of maturity is realizing how small your existence as a human is and being okay with that. This can be accomplished if you study about the world and really put into focus how many humans there are. A key reason there is so much mental and emotional instability comes from a lack of understanding. It's like being on an ocean and having no idea where you are going and what is coming up into view. You must Consciously construct a proper map of orientation, and you must also be willing to relinquish it. Both skills are necessary and if you do not invest in it you will live a very unhappy tumultuous life.

Epigenetics proves that genes are malleable. And genes are subject to random mutations as well. A woman randomly started growing nails on her face. Also twin studies show that even small changes in the womb during pregnancy create lasting change within the identical twin. So gene expression is not as solid as once believed. Humans are capable of drastic change within the limits of their intelligence. Intelligence is just the ability to recognize, execute, and create new patterns of expression. Humans depending on their environment and support system with time and effort are capable of drastic change.

Sigh^^^^^everything is imaginary, so since your point is imaginary.....it negates the point you were trying to make. In a dream at night the room you can't leave is imaginary but it doesn't mean that if those walls don't hold up that the nightmare monster may not torture you. Hell is also imaginary, but it doesn't mean you cannot dream up a personal Hell for you to go through. -

Until you have your freedom taken from you, you will not understand how callous your suggestion is. I suggest go voluntarily submit yourself to a psych ward and see how comfortable you are with being locked up. -
Don't worry about the fear mongering. All you gotta do is drop all knowing, set clear intention, and then surrender and what is will reveal what should be revealed. Only the ego will criticize and express disappointment if it doesn't fit its standard.

It doesn't lead to delusion. What do you think motion is?. Motion is the illusion of change by making something disappear and reappear in the same spot. A camera takes a bunch of frames of still images, and puts them together so seamlessly we call it video. Reality is an infinite frame that can makes anything appear and disappear. It can do it because disappearance, is what we call death. Well that disappearance is non existence. The same non-existence that is before the sequential memories of your life. The key to not falling in delusion is to understand that God can exist without a frame of reference. This clears things up. -

Also be careful with the word my.....you are experience itself. So if a guy kills someone in front of you. You are killing someone in front of yourself. So it's not that you have experience you ARE it. So it would be more accurate to say the experience of murder in front of OBEler is what you are.
