I would suggest you go watch some of his videos again, Leo says a lot of things and what people have a bad habit of doing is sticking to one thing he says and missing the other parts. You aren't wrong in that he promotes a lot of achieving and going after dreams and being a conscious creator but that's because that is his life purpose and vision. He never states his personal opinions as absolute even though he does state them in a very strong authoritarian way but that is just his delivery style. In his solipsism video he literally said you could go play video games, walk on the beach or masturbate after God Realization and that there isn't anything different than either of those. You see? Someone might say well it sounds like he contradicts himself? All humans that have ever lived are going to contradict themselves because all speech is relative and since there is an infinite amount of relativity....contradiction is inevitable. So while he does promote goal achieving he has also stated that being a wage slave isn't any worse or better than not being a wage slave. He communicates back and forth between an absolute perspective of oneness and personal preference from the relative. Most don't glean this and attach ONE thing that he says. If people really observed their thoughts and the things they say....they would realize how often they contradict themselves, its impossible not too no matter how hard you try. Growth itself is contradiction.

The solution is simple, realize that your ego desire comfort, so seek discomfort whenever discomfort is between you and a desired goal. Got paperwork to do and you think it is boring? GREAT!! A perfect opportunity to learn to face boredom. The mind loves to conceptualize things and as a result you never really experience things. If you think boredom is bad, that means you have never experienced boredom just your interpretation of it, which is just an energetic expression. When you realize your entire life is just you judging the different sensations that arise and you tricked into them NOT being energy by them taking the form of color, shape, sound, mind chatter, and emotion then you realize what type of game is actually being played here. For example the issue isn't the paperwork, its your conceptualization of it, and the energy that gets expressed as a result of that conceptualization. So all you need to do to meet all goals is to not conceptualize about things you need to do and just do them and if you happen to conceptualize realize that conceptualization is never the actual experience. Conceptualization about something is actually prejudice, so this should let you know by their very nature egos are prejudiced. GOOD LUCK!!

So the universe is always balanced perfectly with perfect unison at all times, so how can anything be random? It's obvious once it's seen and understood.

When you close your eyes at night and go to sleep, if you pay attention you flatten your sense of self. If you completely let go and do not dream....the sense of you is completely gone. So when he says flatten the self...think it terms of the surrendering you do every time you go to sleep. But....see if you can do that consciously. Can you be still at the same level you do when you sleep?

Whenever you go to sleep at night, when you awaken you realize that it was all a dream. That is what is happening but on a much stronger level. Also there is only ONE BEING, that ONE BEING is the building block of all of existence. So think about it, it can't not be true. In fact if you go even deeper, relativity couldn't exist if there wasn't an absolute to contrast it with. So what is that absolute? Being. That Being is ONE.

1. Wanting preparation is ego. 2. Wanting to know more is ego. 3. Wanting to physically act or think about something is ego. You have a habit of identifying with the ego so your biggest obstacle during meditation is going to be able to observe the thoughts and sensations you feel without identifying with them. Just remember that the thoughts and sensations are created, try to notice that which is always there. That which allows you to feel the thoughts and sensations is the background. Think of a piece of paper and drawing you have, you can erase and redraw any of the pictures, but those drawings come and go but the background remains. Eventually if you go deep enough even that which observes will be discovered to also be a creation as well but you discover that when you get to it. Eventually all phenomena falls away and you can recognize that even without all sensory experience, complete unconsciousness, you can actually still be conscious. That is when the boundary between consciousness and unconsciousness breaks and you realize they are the same. What you call life is just game of consciousness and unconsciousness, the unconscious is never touched where the conscious experiences everything. All awakening is, is connecting to that unconscious which can awaken through you.

Identity is the cause of your suffering. I found Spirituality back in December and broke through this little identity game that humanity is playing. I can feel anger, sadness, disappointment, sick, in physical pain and still be at peace. The only reason you can ever suffer is if you become the emotion completely. Why identify with things that are temporary? Emotions are temporary. Your car is temporary. Your memory is temporary. Your life as a human is temporary. If you do not learn to release these attachments, you cannot actually enjoy them because you will be bouncing back and forth with the highs and lows associated with them. I really wish you could experience what I experience everyday as it doesn't make sense that you can be happy no matter what happens. This better than money, sex, status, etc because you don't have to do anything. You were born happy and socialized into identifying with the body and the story and constructed a psyche that makes you suffer. Doing the work breaks the psyche and reconstructs it in a way that is actually healthy. You can enjoy the human experience, without identifying as an actual human. But if this work is not for you then stop doing it and go after what you want. Also Spirituality is about complete surrender, so no you don't suppress your emotions you allow them expression just like everything else.

I'll give a very quick example. Many people think their consciousness is in their brain. Tell them that if they looked at a mirror and you cut open their head they would see a brain. How can the brain be generating consciousness when it is INSIDE consciousness. Let their mouth drop when they realize how foolish science has been this whole time.

When you build a society on lies, authenticity of any kind is seen as the truth. So if a ego maniac presents himself as such with no shame, he/she will be seen as a truthful honest person. I wouldn't say arrogance more like you don't yet have a feel for me. Most of your conclusions are relative to what is being presented right now. If you were aware of previous posts I made then you would have greater understanding of what is being presented. I made a topic awhile back called I love my ego. If you were aware of that post then you would know I don't demonize the ego. I just point out its extremes. Part of the reason it's so hard to drop the ego for most is that we all love our egos. I don't hate the character I have constructed but I do know how it will have a tendency to construct self-serving narratives so I watched it like a hawk with the understanding that the ego is the ground of reality. Without it, there is no stability and there is only free fall. So why would I hate that which allows me to experience a 3D world?

That's the point. Unless relativity is understood, every relative view will fight for infinity. That is what history shows, that is literally what this forum post is right now. Every disagreement is just disagreement between two relative identities. If you really want to understand the silliness of this, try to understand and take in every relative point of view that exists. You will start to realize why the ONLY solution is a raising of consciousness, and why suffering is often the only way for a relative point of view to become open-minded. Because egos want their agenda fulfilled, and can only act from a place of love once their agenda is fulfilled. Think of egos as starving animals that want to be filled before they can fill you up. So if you are always full, then you fill others up and can slowly wake them up. Humans either become more loving through intense unbearable suffering, or overwhelming nurture and kindness. There is a distinct combination each individual ego needs to learn how to be less entitled. Now you think creating rules and ethics will fix behavior? All it does is create law abiding assholes. You know those people right? They are selfish, rude, uncaring, but they pay their taxes and don't commit crimes so on paper they are "good citizens." Then they get married and traumatize their kids, and every now and then their shadow repressed parts come out even more. If they have any talent and ambition they gain some power and authority and then corrupt themselves and others in power through manipulating them through their selfish desires. You see? How do you police selfishness? You cannot!!! Corruption is selfishness! If everyone is so got damn selfish corruption will always exist. This is an absolute! Selfish only wants what it can get for itself and whatever it identifies with. From the vantage point of selfishness if it doesn't align with what it wants its bad. That view is a corrupt view.

The Code of Hamurabi and the Ten Commandments, and all these other codes Magna Carter, and all these other various laws and ordinances too many too count. Do you know how much ethical violations humanity has erected? None of them have stood!! In fact the ethical boards that are required to judge those violations also violate them!! Do you see?
