So you feel a little bit sad and depressed for 5 days and think this is a dark night of the soul? -
People function in different ways. For some texting and videocalling is really uninteresting; for others it's more important. You know, there is for example this book "5 languages of love" that speaks about this.

Yeah, and you can get so LOA-delusional that you buy into messages like that -
I don't really "get" this guy. Seems still too fake and business-oriented to me. Yes, I know that he even did programs with Ken Wilber but as we all know Ken Wilber sometimes has a bad taste (Andrew Cohen, Genpo Roshi, Marc Gafni...).

Many people specifically seek out alternative treatments. Many pay it on their own because they don't want their insurance to know. Many have a insurance ("private Krankenkasse" / "Beihilfe") that pays most if not all of the sessions. -

only works if "I" as a "person" exists. Otherwise the "I" is the fundamental limiting belief. -

I don't know if that is true. I never heard of an "Heilpraktiker" that does Psychoanalysis. Hypnotherapy or Bodywork or anything like that... sure. -

99% is a very low number. -
- putting own needs into the shadow; so it seems safer if these impulses come from outside even if it is in a weird way - unresolved pain is addicted to reenact situations or emotions even if it is the collective unconscious; that is also the reason men are addicted to dominating women

Avadhuta gita is pretty decent too. -
If that is your interest then RSD is not really the advise you should be watching. They are not talking about long term relationships afaik.

Passion as a word actually means "suffering". It's not even a positive word. People tend to confuse "passion" with "interest" or "inspiration". "Passion" as such is - for me - a rather primitive overemotional force that creates suffering. In german passion means "Leidenschafft" which actually even means "creates suffering" even though people here also use it in a "positive" way.

#1 trap of the forum: not taking feedback from teachers.

I already hang out with the ones I'm interested in. I could only pick "dead" ones like Nisargadatta or Ramana or Papaji. But also here, you can meet them in silence. -

by feeling that dryness. btw: with an Enneagram type 5, which I would guess you have, it is just as it is how you perceive yourself / the world. -

Isn't there a chapter in the book where he talks about oxherding pictures and how it relates to his map? For him and his interpretation of 1000 is the 10th picture.

Bernadette Roberts (christian mystic) afair interprets the pictures that God is the one chasing: https://beingwithoutself.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/tenoxpics.pdf . -
Yes, I am doing it myself from time to time. It is very effective. It seems a bit too gentle or easy to have effects but I would it just try it out for yourself. For me it is perfect touching deeper layers of patterns that might be unresolved in the body.

I like the Enneagram because it addresses the underlying motivation. For example one could be "stuck" because one is seeking security (e.g. type 6), has problems saying no (e.g. type 9) or maybe the one criticizing it could be a type 7 because they are easily bored and want to do new things all the time. This is oversimplified of course, but it is very deep. We had a thread some weeks ago...

The Work - from my own experience - is not that great when you experience dissociation (which might be the case from what you describe). If you cannot stay present while asking the questions and dissociate into thoughts or go numb or shut down, I'd rather add some kind of bodywork. Something like TRE (Trauma Release Exercise), Feldenkrais.

What I would do: I would reread the last chapters in Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth" where it is about "purpose" and what primary purpose is and what secondary purpose is. And I would be happy to live where you live because there is an overabundance of amazing teachers (https://www.adyashanti.org/index.php?file=teachers) there. Of course it would only make sense if my main interest is to be. But hey, that's just me, I don't know what your interest is.
