  1. Both "hypergamy" and "alpha" are trance words of the mgtow and pickup community to keep people asleep in their everyday trance.
  2. Compare Elliot Hulse to spiritual teachers that are Enneagram type 8s (unlike Elliot who probably is a type 6): Papaji, Isaac Shapiro, Eli Jaxon Bear, Adi Da, Muktananda, Chogyam Trungpa...
  3. Gangaji and Byron Katie both had it I guess...
  4. #1 pickup myth: you can control how a woman reacts by your mental/emotional state. She is not allowed to make her own decisions. If she is not interested it's not because she is just not interested, it's because of your state and behavior.
  5. But how can trust, intimacy, connection and everything else... deepen if you keep it non-committal?
  6. I don't understand. You write that you feel "healed" after that workshop numerous times and still you don't display the capacity / interest for lasting relationships. Why is that?
  7. Could be very easily retraumatizing.
  8. I don't know. All I know is what the symptoms are if you leave "the window of tolerance", meaning the state in which you are able to "integrate" your experience. One symptom is "freezing" or becoming "paralyzed".
  9. Educate yourself on "trauma" and for example the "window of tolerance". Some good books are... Trauma regarding spiritual practice: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0393709787/ Trauma in general: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1556439431/ or https://www.amazon.com/dp/0143127748/ "Developmental trauma" in particular (which is different from "shock trauma"): https://www.amazon.com/dp/1583944893/
  10. I don't know what you are talking about. Seems that you were hearing something else than what I wrote. I wrote that he might be more specific or give an example so that I could understand what situations exactly he is talking about. Without knowing that how could there be an answer or a discussion?
  11. Why not talk to the ones you already know or friends know?
  12. Could you explain why this question would be relevant to you? I have it difficult to understand how asking and answering it would help.
  13. I also hate it when women don't take no as an answer and are stalking me without any reason.
  14. Feminism could have been invented not to free the roles but so that more people are working and pay taxes. Funny that the male role of working, providing, being strong and having no feelings, functioning... is not questioned collectively. Because a man that questions his role probably pays less taxes.
  15. A lot of Adyashanti's disciples are from the Bay Area as he himself is: Adyashanti: https://www.adyashanti.org/programs/calendar his disciples that he asked to teach: https://web.archive.org/web/20180923071841/http://www.adyashanti.org/index.php?file=teachers
  16. Quite a few monks are gay and that's the reason they become monks. So they can jerk each other off. Or they abuse people which also happens all the time. Their sex drive comes out in very weird ways.
  17. As Audiobooks I enjoyed - Adyashanti - The End Of Your World - Adyashanti - Resurrecting Jesus - Ken Wilber - Kosmic Consciousness - Almaas - Diamond Approach
  18. You don't need to read any books.
  19. In the Enneagram "lust" is shown to be based on anger. Although there are people whose character runs on fear that are "lustful" of course.
  20. that's what I was trying to say... at least it has been my experience that it doesn't help calm things down but fuels the "current", pressure... even more..
  21. In my experience, best thing is to keep things as simple as possible and do things that calm the system and not do things that excite the energy/pressure more like I guess Reiki does.
  22. - David Deida - Krishnananda & Amana Trobe (https://www.learningloveinstitute.com/portfolio/books/) - Adyashanti & Mukti - "The One of Us" - Osho - further book recommendations: https://www.learningloveinstitute.com/movies-and-books-we-recommend/
  23. Probably "The Teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi in His Own Words".
  24. I'm not doing it right now though would be interesting to... I like dreamwork of LLewellyn Vaughan-Lee (successor of Irina Tweddie): - https://goldensufi.org/a_HP_Dreams_Reconnecting_Sacred.html - https://goldensufi.org/a_sufi_dreamwork.html - Books: for example "Catching the Thread: Sufism, Dreamwork, & Jungian Psychology" and "In the Company of Friends: Dreamwork within a Sufi Group"
