@seriousman24 "Dr" Berg is no medical doctor and he is also a scientologist and donated at least 500k to scientology.

#1 mistake is to look for how a therapist is or should be. The main thing is the therapeutic relationship. All else is secondary even though it is helpful to look for approaches you also resonate with.

If your money / insurance allows go to a trauma therapist because you describe classic trauma symptoms: https://www.somatic-experiencing.de/traumatherapeuten-finden/ https://drlaurenceheller.com/narm-practitioners/practitioners-germany/ https://account.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org/home/directory-eu/prGermany.html For reading I would recommend Peter Levine in an unspoken voice, Laurence heller healing developmental trauma and bessel van der kolk the body keeps the score.

Mathematicans know that it is not true but only based on assumptions and definitions. That is the first thing you learn.

Eckhart Tolle is a classic type 5. Ramana could have also been a 5 although I can see why he could be typed a 9. But for Eckhart there is really no argument imo. -
Claudio Naranjo - Ennea-type Structures https://www.amazon.com/dp/0895560631/ Eli Jaxon-Bear - Fixation to Freedom: The Enneagram of Liberation https://www.amazon.com/dp/1732952345 Sandra Maitri - The Spiritual Dimension of the Enneagram: Nine Faces of the Soul https://www.amazon.com/dp/1585420816/ Advanced: Sandra Maitri - The Enneagram of Passions and Virtues: Finding the Way Home https://www.amazon.com/dp/1585427233/ A.H. Almaas - Facets of Unity: The Enneagram of Holy Ideas https://www.amazon.com/dp/0936713143/ The Beatrice Chestnut book is ok but I'd rather get DVDs or MP3s of Naranjo (on which the book is based on), if possible.

That is not true. It depends what dichotomy and subtype a type has. A social (dichotomy) sx/soc (subtype "stacking") 5 could easily be mistaken for a 7. This is more a sexual subtype thing than 7 imo. Sexual subtypes of any type could display this behaviour. -
That's all you ever have to know about "alpha".

I seriously wonder why - when realizations are real - one needs to continue taking psychedelic substances. Doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't it be the other way round that experiences are seen as just experiences and the need to alter the state of consciousness (aka "spiritual materialism") drops away? Can someone explain why you continue to take substances?
-
Well obviously taking psychedelics is not my path. One of the reasons I don't plan on doing so is because I might get too fascinated with experiences and develop a narrative that might be delusional without recognizing it. I'd rather spend time with spiritual teachers and get real life feedback. Most people on this forum are probably afraid of it because it might question their narrative / state they are in.

Interest in healthy monogamous long term relationships. They are considered as "beta" and mainstream. Too much focus on short term sexual based relationships.

You could go to an Ayurveda expert that will find out your Dosha which pretty much correlates with "body types".

No. What he is saying is resonating true, what you are saying is resonating as bs - to me. That is the difference.

It's really a sign how awake you are if you think "Guru" is something / someone other than you or outside of you.
-
Yeah, but isn't "read Om Swami" also following a guru (Om Swami)? Also you never know what role a guru played in helping someone who supposedly woke up without one, e.g. UG Krishnamurti who had a major shift at Jiddu Krishnamurti's talks while just walking out the door or something. UG would later say that waking up happened because he turned away from JK and JK played no role in it.

People are different. A developed Enneagram type 5 with the most withdrawn subtype (selfpreservation), e.g. Eckhart Tolle looks different than for example a developed Enneagram 8 with sexual subtype (Papaji, Chogyam Trungpa, Isaac Shapiro...). Even though they might not be very fixated their "fixation" (their type) did not change. Most of the time "life purpose" is just the conditioning speaking imo though. -
Psychiatric hospitals are full of people that also thought "what can go wrong? Why is it even illegal?"...

Who says you should have "no experience"? Every human being has. Even the greatest masters.

no. -
Even people that realize Awareness (which is not the same as being "aware of") still have tons of patterns running that do not resolve themselves just by Awareness.

I thought you are God. Why do you need to meet God then? -
As I see over and over again aggressive speech here in the forum it would be wonderful to introduce some of the basic concepts of "Nonviolent Communication" by Marshall Rosenberg. So that we could be a bit more mindful how we talk to each other.

This indirect reaction seeking by trolling is a bit weird. Just ask for it, if you just want attention. You don't need to post bs to get attention.
