It describes the states of consciousness that Ken Wilber uses in his map: gross, subtle, causal / "sat-chit-ananda" (turiya), nondual (turiyatia). And then different ways of perceiving spiritual "experiences" regarding to that states are laid out; and with that also the misconceptions people might have confusing spiritual experiences on the more superficial levels with deeper ones.

Does your experiences with psychedelics match with what is being said here (in german): https://goo.gl/serCqQ ?

Might also apply here regarding ego: -
It's based on the assumption that there is something wrong. You cannot fight the wrongness-illusion with another illusion or agenda called "forgiveness". Just notice the isness. This is enough imo.

I've met many masters and the only one where you couldn't ask questions was Eckhart Tolle. - at least as I remember. Also, you have to see what a teacher really is. It is not a person. It is you. The teacher points you back towards you and calls you towards you. From spectator mode it is really easy to misunderstand their function. -
@John Iverson my sense is that you had some insight and got a bit too high on it and now you are preaching what your ego turned that into. I could be wrong though.

It belongs to life. I just read about the possibility of transplanting a head. Assuming this is possible one day... are you the head with a new body or are you a body with a new head? Or is the body just the body and you are something else?

Don't mistake the type - probably an Enneagram 8 with psychopathic tendencies (like most politicians) - for the stage. Putin could very well be more orange than one might think initially. Russia in general I would say is more blue with red and orange elements.

I'm pretty sure that there are some that don't drink or eat and just meditate - enlightened or not. -

As I might reported before, I've been to a retreat where someone was advised by the teacher not to attend the meditation sessions and go into nature instead. Only you can judge if meditation overwhelms and destabilizes you in such a way that it would be good to take it a bit more easy. So there might be cases where the advise of the therapist is actually helpful. -

That is not true. Byron Katie was in a mental institution and did a lot of therapy sessions. Eckhart supposedly did the whole ACIM before his awakening. Both needed time for integration. I think an awakening is possible for anyone anywhere but that is something different than enlightenment. -

Sounds like the teacher of Shinzen Young but I guess he was "just" "abusing" adults. But here in Germany there is a Zen-priest that started his practise in 1977 and just got convicted for sexual abusing children and teenagers. -

You could listen to this guided meditation. It's very much compatible with Ramana's approach and als examines feelings - what you are and what you are not. -
so you don't even care to read people's signals and respect if they are not open to your eye contact and hugging? Regarding the topic I found that https://www.amazon.com/dp/0307345300/ as audiobook helpful for me.

Bitcoin is a fiat currency as well. I am personally not interested in making profits with trading but I'm excited about the possibilities such technologies could bring as a change in the world regarding politics.

Funny that I was living like 50km from one of his monasteries but I was never really called to go there or attend when he had talks there or nearby. But overall I still like him. Great guy. Did a lot for emerging spiritual teachings in the western world. -

Do you want to have physical exercises or meditations? For physical exercises you could do https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Tibetan_Rites; you could also check it out on youtube. But make sure you do the correct breathing along the exercises and start with only few repetitions (maybe 3-5). This programme works on every chakra. I personally don't like the whole story around the exercises but taken for itself the exercises are really good. -

Lisa Cairns and Roger Castillo were together as well. Bentinho Massaro and Karen Richards were too if I'm not mistaken. -

I'm not so sure about their relationship status but at least they were together: Gangaji and Eli Jaxon-Bear; Isaac Shapiro and Meike Schuett. And there are some less famous ones in Germany that come to my mind. -
How do you know that he wasn't talking about his state of being drunk? If someone is so drunk that he is falling to the floor and almost passing out he could be referring to his state when saying "why don't you let me die?" and not suicide later on.

good joke. why would you need a breakthrough then? -
I would pick self-inquiry and just stay with the sense of "I am" or "I". Not the thought, but the sense. You could just do this for 5 minutes during meditation.
