Dude, if you already consider suicide so seriously, just fuck with shit for some time and just die later. Fuckin', tell random girl from youR high school that you love her (even if you don't) , tell your parents to fuck off, mess with shit. Sleep outside in the wilderness. Fucking play with this illusion if you already accepted to commit a suicide. Don't be a pussy. -

Your sleep is imaginary. Consciouaness never sleeps But it can imagine that 9 hours passed by in an blink of an eye, and it creates the illusion of "break". -

Do you think that one of the most consciouss people on the planet, that as his life purpose has spreading of the deepest understanding didn't contemplate for weeks what should be the delivery style? Do you thing that the guy that has videos about the deepest kind of deception, about mastering your life, about how bullshitting people are and many more topics of deep psychology, that this guy is not aware of the fact that with that style he will loose 99,9% of potential audience that only wants fast delivery? I think he does know and that it is designed that way - as Leo would say "it's not a bug, it's a feature" -

I think usually it is recommended to do at least 2-4 hours a day and additionally at least ones a year: a week 2 weeks long meditation retreat. -
Yeah, and then you research on how to take it and it turns out that some bald guy that is one of the most conscious people on the planet that was making videos on how to make girl squirt few years ago, tells you that best method is to shove it up in your ass. Where would you hide God/You other than in literally your ass. Reality is a joke.

Often during my trips I wonder how did we fuck up so much. That the wage slavery and mediocrity is so common. That people are so stuck in their victimhood and in their unhappy life situations. And very often I find the answer to be children/family. Having kids is a beautiful thing, but I just want to point out the disadvantages. I am open to change my mind on the following three points: 1. When I feel frustrated by my job I remind myself that I can always change it. That I can even work for half a year and travel for the money the rest of the year. Of course in that way I will not be living the most comfortable life, but for a free and spiritual life it is surely enough. And when I feel eased by that contemplation I am always shocked -" wait, why so few people do it like that?". And when I look at my friends or family usually the answer is children. Then you always have to worry about someone, to care for someone, and finances are much harder. Which is beautiful, but takes a lot of freedom away. You can always change partner, job, save some money for traveling or developing your passion - life is so easy when you do not have kids. 2. Visualization exercise: I imagine a village with 100 of people. After some time I imagine everyone has basic needs fulfilled. Okay now we have the time to build everyone a house. Okay, now lets make our food production more efficient so that we have more free time. Okay everything is taken care of and now we can contemplate, make science and art - unless we make more kids -> not enough food -> more work -> we need more working hands -> more kids. And this vicious cycle is with us to this day. Isn't that the main cause of why average Joe has to work 40h weeks in a job that he does not like? 3. Wouldn't a following simple rule solve many of our problems? - "Only have children when you are capable of providing them with food and shelter for most of their life". Imagine a society in which it is normal for a kid to be supported by default for a whole life by his parents, and then he does not have to do any work that he is not inspired by. He can focus on art, science, spirituality or whatever interests him. Wouldn't that create whole lot of geniuses for us? Wouldn't that counter-intuitively actually boost our growth as humankind? Isn't it irresponsible that parents make kids that then are forced to work 40h weeks?

@johnlocke18 So, Leo is socializing a lot, as he describes in his videos for example "How to get laid" and have posted videos of him socializing. So he has experience. So why don't you consider his opinion valid?
-
@johnlocke18 Are you open to the possibility that you can have insights and wisdom about topics that you did not go through yourself?
-
My experience correlates with what Leo is saying. The less I socialize: - the more time I have for spiritual practices, - less I compare my Life Purpose with other's ways of living which makes it clearer and I do not doubt it, - the less I have victim mentality that everyone around has, and other toxic structures that you sink in if you spend too much time socializing. Note that his advice was to someone that asked about living as consciously as possible. It was not a question about living a good life. These are two different things. I was able to meditate A LOT when I was earning by driving a car. But now after college working as an analyst I am not able to hold high consciousness that much and it is much more stressful. So in my experience Leo is on point. But you have your own experience. Good. But instead of trying to understand his point of view, that for many people is correct, you decide to just be toxic:

I can really relate to your post. I am 24 years old and it also seems ever more obvious to me that if I want to achieve the level of abiding and living the awakenings that I experienced my whole life will have to be a vehicle for that. That you can't really abide fully also leaving a normal life. At least not until you rewire yourself fully. I have to say that I was lucky in many cases, for example I had great friendships during high school so I already let go of that need. I was lucky to meet the love of my live during university and have the most wholesome relationship. So that karma is also burned through. And I am ever more tired of having to worry about money and logistics, so I am now in the process of acquiring enough saving that it will be enough for let's say 5-10 years of fully spontaneous life, during which I will not have to worry about money at all. And I will be able to 100% focus on expanding consciousness. ---- So I would say after there is awakening, you have some mixture of following spirituality with following your desires (Burning Through Karma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffHpix-YDIU&ab_channel=Actualized.org). Then you realize how much you always fall back into sleep so you slowly increase your daily practice, but still simultaneously following your desires. And then when you are ready, and you've burned through your karma and you can let go of that (because in the end it will still not satisfy you) you will start to fully structure your life for spirituality. I don't know it that is universal, but thats how it is going for me. -

I am doing good with my practice, didn't ask for advice. Thanks, though. Actually Power of now was the book that started my journey 6 years ago. Just was curious about your source of income. But do not feel pressured to share. Nevermind. -
Arthogaan replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I ask for real. Because I am also in the state of total not planning in most of areas of my life, but when it comes to my 9-5 job it really makes it harder for me to stay in that vibration. So I am just curious. -

Yes, thats a cool insight I also had. If you feel into this it actually opens my heart more for example to old people that I have no topics to talk about - it opens the understanding that really they are the sam age as me, their age is precisely: now years old. Also easier to play and be patient with kids. One of the facets of unity. Everyone is you so everyone is ... years old just as you. -

Where do you get the money from? -
Arthogaan replied to Holykael's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, of course. Anything that anyone teaches can be turned into a negative thing. And absolute Solipsism is an especially sharp knife. It is like with some youtuber that shows you some cool tricks with a knife but also warns that if you have unstable hands or you are not experienced then do not try this because with knives it is easy to turn a positive thing into a negative one - DO NOT TRY THIS! And then someone with unstable hands cuts himself. Is it youtuber's fault even if he warned him? Well you could argue he still provided the video that could encourage it but I would say it is unfair to make youtuber in that analogy responsible. -

Teaching thing X and looking at it from positive and integrated point of view is entirely different teaching from teaching thing X but looking at X from negative, ungrounded POV that produces despair. It's like someone murders someone with knife and you said "but didn't we as society decide to produce knives? Isn't it our fault that he used a knife in a totally ungrounded unbalanced way? Didn't he just parrot us cutting a tomatoes?" Thats a cool perspective. Thank you. But also there is no need to fix/help our natural desire to help him. We are just sharing our perspective. -
Arthogaan replied to Holykael's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If certain interpretation/perspective of a given situation that you are perceiving is giving raise to negative emotion it means that that interpretation is false. This is what emotion are, emotional guidance system - if your interpretation feels bad it means you are bullshitting yourself. Watch this man: -

You are God. And what you are conscious of is all there is. So having all this beauty around you if you focus on some imaginary suffering and terror you create that terror where there was none, so indeed thats mad. Focus on the beauty. Thats all. -
Situation from yesterday. News about some musician turning out to be child abuser. My friend defending and having empathy for the child abuser but being hateful and not compassionate towards people that post on twitter of said musician to kill himself etc (abusing him).
