@Someone here Do you think the body that your Consciousness is now in, will last forever? -

Actually, even when I close them it would still be imagination. Do you go to the psychedelic subforum and when someone asks "what happens when I take DMT" you answer very cleverly "well actually taking DMT does not exist, you are imagining taking DMT". Wow dude, very helpful. That is not the question. Do you really think that Leo claiming "Death is imaginary " means that your Consciousness will be forever in this body of yours? Don't you think that after some point your consciousness will move on from this body? Don't you think that very interesting phenomena will be right in front of your eyes when it happens? Please again, more humbleness my dude, you seem like you do not even think critically about the question and you just jump ahead to clever sentences parroting Leo "DEATH IS IMAGINARY" so that you could feel wise. No ill feelings bro but it really seems to my that you do that kind of thing often. Obviously in a standard meaning of the word "DEATH" - meaning that our consciousness ceases to be, that our visual field goes blank, and nothing happens yes- that is not gonna happen and we are imagining that. But that very insight means that there will be something else happening, that if our consciousness does not go blank, then it means we will have something else happening in our visual field. And the question is obviously about that process. And when we call death that process, of consciousness starting to imagine some next dream landscape, then death exists. -

Thanks, I have similiar thoughts. -

Okay dude. The fact that I am imagining everything doesn't mean I can not ask the questions about what happens inside imagination. I could ask "what happens when I close my eyes". You are so dense you would reply "Closing your eyes does not exist! You are imagining closing your eyes!". Yeah, no shit, thats what question is about. -
Arthogaan replied to Arthogaan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That is literally what this post is about, that death is not real, and that the experience goes on. The question is about what is happening to my visual field when this body ceases to function. This body will not live for eternity. -
Arthogaan replied to Arthogaan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I know all that. I am asking about what will be happening in my visual field (me as God/Consciousness) after Arthogaan's body dies. -

I watch Leo and Bentinho for six years and this is probably my favourite snippet ever. Just listening to it, after 9 minutes I feel like after 1 hour meditation. One with everthing, and naturally loving and joyful. You can feel sincere happiness of being, of existing in Bentinho here. I recommend watching the whole thing but the gold snippet I am talking about is between 29:25 and 40:00. I think it is perfect combination of Nonduality and God-Realization in very simple words.

Then why perpetuate that harshness gene by starting the title with "Fools". Lets all become so loving, and so mature on the forum, that Leo looking at as will be ashamed and inspired to act more lovingly! -

With this added context I think we agree -

I don't agree. I believe some ilnessess are caused by our distortions but there are other cases where some condition was chosen pre-incarnation and it is not gonna be healed. It seems that Leo is learning a lot from his ilnesses. I believe it could be designed by God so that Leo cannot heal himself so that he learns from that catalyst. But then there are others that heal their cancer and that is other catalyst. Also there is third type of illness when your job here on this planet is pretty much done and illness is just a natural way to get you out of here as in case of Ramana Maharishi's cancer. Bentinho speaks about this concept here: -

@Jowblob I agree with Leo but I am more openminded on how much can we harness this power. Yes God has to act out of love. But what if the highest love is to allow some of us to have more power (for example heal ourself out of thyroid issues) and at the same time not allow some others (like Leo not being able to fully heal himself in a Godstate) @Leo Gura -

Thats why he wrote that the duality colapses and God is neither. -

I agree. I don't see how that contradicts my post -
I recently ended my 6 year relationship with the greatest girl I know. We didn't have any issues. It was great. But now the time has come for me to be all-one. I realized that this is what my soul wants at the time, the total freedom, no obligations no promises no hopes. Relationships even the greatest ones tend to strenghten the pulling force of ego. I don't think I will ever go back to longterm relationship where there is this underlying expectation of it being "forever".

Don't you think that those that are totally free and living their spiritual life with little posessions could be a little bit harder to spot? Most of them won't go do youtube. Most of them will be sitting peacefully in their small garden. -

Yes, you defined enlightenment in a totally other meaning that is usually understood here. On a forum about enlightenment. And yet you chose that specific label, instead of being a Sceptic, Free from belief. And there was a reason for that. And I personally think the reason was that you wanted to boost your ego just a little bit. But maybe I am wrong. Do you agree? -

Okay, I think this is the source of all misconception in Solipsism vs Emptiness debate. I will try to slowly explain it from my current understanding. Let's imagine Lucy has a dream at night. In that dream Lucy dreams that she is Mary. Mary inside the dream is a hardcore materialist and therefore she believes that both external world and her own (dreamed) mind is made of matter. Next night Lucy dreams that she is Jack. Jack is a hardcore solipsist in lower case meaning of solipsism. Jack believes everything is his own small mind. Next night Lucy dreams that she is Arthur. Arthur is a hardcore buddhist and he believes that both matter and his own mind is made of Emptyness. The last night Lucy dreams that she is Leo, and Leo is hardcore psychedelic psychonaut, he takes 5-meo which makes him realize that ACTUALLY HE IS LUCY, THAT IT IS ALL A DREAM. THAT EVERYTHING IS LUCY'S OWN MIND. Not a mind of Leo, but a mind of Lucy. Leo realizes that he is Lucy and of course in this analogy Lucy is God. The Mind that dreams it all. Even emptyness and non existence happens inside of Mind of God. Just like dreamless sleep where no world is generated is still inside the mind, because there is all there is. I think @ardacigin you could argue from your model that in the state of sleepless dream there is no mind and all that is left is Empty Ultimate Reality, because the mind is gone (because it is turned off). I trully believe that we are trying to point to the same insight, but people from buddhist backround have a bias against using the word mind. To me personally Mind seems like the best word, because it points to the fact that this Ultimate Reality that everything is generated from is SO CLOSE, SO RIGHT HERE, SO INTIMATELY NOW. God's Mind is ultimate reality. And you are God. @Leo Gura @Inliytened1 @Sincerity @Breakingthewall Please give me your comments about dream analogy used here. -
I agree. If mother does not conform to the nature's law (The law of selflessness of the Mother) her children will die. So it is sometimes nature's law to be selfless. But your selfishness can only see selfishness in nature. When in reality both selfishness and selflessness is obviously part of it.
-
If someone loves you and is mature he does not give you what you want, but what will be good for you. Which is actually exactly what pure mother nature does. It gives you what you need. It nurtures you. But it is wise enough that if you want to put your hand into fire Mother does not allow you to. That is true that selfishness is important for survival, but that is only part of the picture. You could say that mothers have selflessness gene. They are often willing to die for their kids without hesitation. Lioness Mother protecting her children. Mother energy is selflessness.

Don't you think Alien Consciousness should lead to more love and understanding of regular stupid humans? Would you consider RA from the Law Of One Material (assuming it is legit) an alien inteligence? -

@Yimpa When I realized I was booking myself all along I started to book even more Also bro, I know that it is important to not be so serious always, but I just wanted to respectfully ask you to maybe not post memes so often, especially when the thread is juicy and a meme is not really related. Much love.
