You'll figure it out.

Take the 15,000 dollar lesson from this, what is that lesson?
-
Yes I still to this day have some problems with this but it's gotten better, some call this self sabotage, cognitive dissonance, the bad news is you've built a habit out of this, so it will continue to happen because subconsciously you're more comfortable doing it. You will bring about what you focus on---> "what if I blank out now" your focus is on "blanking out" which is what keeps happening. (Law of Attraction effect) So if you can be mindful in the moment about this and FOCUS on --> being present, listening, nodding your head, and CONTINUE to do so even though it feels wrong or uncomfortable, that over time it will go away but you constantly have to do it every single time and chip away at it. It will get easier and there will be less and less emotional attachment to it and you will grow.

To answer your first question, the aloofness that I talk about is actually a strength of mine, it allows me to calibrate in the moment. So determining which approach is best will start to become intuitive the more I just start doing it and feel into what works and what won't work depending on the unique situation. --As I've said before if your the type that becomes too structured and really irons out every single detail in order, you don't a need more detailed structure, you need to learn to let go of being so structured and calibrate in the moment and take information on the fly and not get too wrapped up in the system in order to grow. as for the other question here's a key insight, DELAY GRATIFICATION. this is why things like no fap are so successful, I've only just recently realized the power of this. for example no fap, it allows you to get excited, to build a strategy, to do the work and be excited to do the work. If you're just fapping all day then you CANNOT have a strategy. Because subconsciously you're receiving what you're working towards whether you're aware of it or not making it REALLY difficult to build on a vision and do the work. Leo says "There cannot be a strategy if your strategy is immediate gain." and this is exactly why. How can you have a strategy if subconsciously you feel you've gotten it? as for changing my goal I have prioritized what I want, I have a big dream, so that now allows me to backwards engineer how to get there. each goal I create has a purpose to my next goal which is key, Leo's course really helped a lot with this. It allows me to look at the big picture and create these structures and goals within the big picture, which is an amazing feeling. Changing a goal is what I mean by these structures always being in progress and open to change, I will undermine the entire structure if necessary to re-align myself with my authentic desires and wants.

@Philip @Ajax Well I'm pretty aloof when it comes to how I learn. I've come to realize I need to start building structures around everything I do. My mindset has been "Well, I just do that and it works." which makes it really hard for me to grow, so building these structures has been kind of messy at the moment. When I want to learn a new skill or have a result I want, the first thing I say is "How can I create a structure out of this?" I was told the best way for me to grow ---because how aloof I am-- is to do exactly this, and do the same thing every time within this structure in order to grow. These structures in the moment are pretty arbitrary, but they are created so I can refer back to them and improve on them and have a "structure" to act within. These structures are pretty personal to me and again each structure is kind of unique. But I'll give you an example. ---- Structure for girls and Pickup Your vision ---> (most important, write down the intrinsic motivation, get the intangibles, not just about getting the girl or the relationship, align with top values. Make it meaningful, be excited for it and be real and honest about it.) (Gather information any and ALL -- Take notes from Leo, YouTube videos, wherever -- Write down principles -- the attitudes they take to reality and mindsets, the systems and processes ALL THE Juicy stuff.) ----> Approach Attraction Rapport Seduction/dating Relationship balance Body Language Creating Love Breaking Up Staying Out Of The Friend Zone Result ---> I want to go from going out and meeting a girl, to having her in my bed and building a powerful relationship. (and I dive into each of these topics) Structure for Approach -----> (ALWAYS IN PROGRESS) Approaching, okay, so the first thing that happens is approach --- walking up to the girl. Now, there’s many things that I can say, there’s many things I can say or not say. (Find good approaches from YouTube or wherever.) Opener's -----> (I'll list a couple cause there's a lot I wrote down) -Tell them your name, give her a handshake -You like their style -Tell them they are cute or adorable -Compliments -Say complete random shit that makes no sense. The Goal Of Approaching -- to get her number, flirt a little, maybe go on an instadate. Mindsets and powerful quotes from people: (again I have a lot written down so here's a couple) - “It doesn’t matter what you say, as long as you believe in what you say.” -“You won’t connect with every single girl, this weeds out the ones you don’t connect with” -“Rejection is normal, if you feel emotional pain that’s good and totally natural, you are taking steps to get over this and grow from this.” -“ It takes 1-2 seconds to hesitate and start resisting. So approach Immediately ASAP before the emotional brain makes excuses and you will become that guy.” Principles and Attitudes/Values/Truths: very important (again there should be a lot here too. I added (--->) if I want to add detail to them like the why this is the case, the truth.) - Do It For Growth ---> -Set Good Intentions ---> -Approach Everyone You're Curious About ---> -Rejection/Failure Is Good ---> -Be Present ---> ------------------------------------------------------- So that's my small version of my structure. again these structures are to refer back to and improve upon and act within, I don't adhere to this step by step. because in the moment these can be completely arbitrary. Each structure I create is unique, something like my motivation structure is way simpler than this. Mostly just full of the principles and my little key notes. Here's that motivation structure which again, these are always in progress, whenever I realize them is when I create a structure even if it's small. VISION EXTRINSIC - career/relationship INTRINSIC - the personal growth and pushing comfort zone -- WAY MORE IMPORTANT This can fuel you for life. Take a second to dream about it and let that fire kindle within. RE-GROUND IT IN MYSELF SOMETHING I’M FIGHTING FOR- very important It’s significant in my mind. FIND OUT WHAT GETS YOU FIRED UP. - Music combination with dreaming. (me personally) STOP FLOATING ON THE RIVER OF LIFE BE EXCITED, WHAT’S MEANINGFUL AND EXCITING FOR YOU? GET THE EMOTIONAL FEELINGS OF HAVING IT RIGHT NOW. -------------- Side note --- I personally decided it's best for me to create my own structures, but you can find others structures and use them if you'd like, just make sure they fit into your personality. This is how I personally "grow" others might be structured and have a problem being more in the moment. so if this is the case this isn't for you. You should let go of your structure and gain information on the fly and in the moment.
-
I've been struggling a bit with goal setting too, but what's helped me is I've been creating structures around anything that's important to me. I'd title it "personal development structure" or "Motivation structure", get down the principles, mindsets, and a "This, then this, then this(doesn't have to be in order)" kind of process and adding the ultimate result for the structure and the processes to know when I've achieved it. These structures are always open to adapting and growing or changing. These structures set a foundation to then work on the big picture. I'm still working on improving my structures but I hope this gave you a new angle to see from.

It's actually in one of his newest videos haha, "How To Be A Strategic Mother Fucker"

The body WILL die. So don't waste the "time" you have left.
-
@Neo Honestly, don't even fret, but just know your highest wisdom will eventually realize "Oh shit, this is actually really fucking important" the more you do personal development and work on yourself you will realize that. Keep on man.
-
''The biggest thing you should fear in your life... Is that you waste your life.'' - Leo I had this problem a long time ago, Delayed gratification is one of the most important things you should develop I've recently come to realize, delaying gratification creates new flavors of emotion, not only that but building momentum is incredibly empowering. But I got a better answer to your question. Look at your life right now, chances are you've been chasing instant gratification your whole life, look what that's gotten you, be very honest about it. Look at all the things you've chased after for instant gratification. Are you happy yet? Keep doing what's you've always done and you'll come up to the end of your life and say..."wtf was I doing?" This life is so fucking amazing, as Leo says It's like magic that we are here, and its so under appreciated because people are squandering it away with their petty problems and fears, don't waste your life. Don't let your "fear" keep you stuck. Because your fear of death is the ONLY thing that keeps you there, and the ego LOVES to know that its safe and sound. But in the end? That game is lost.

Truth replied to Hardik jain's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Lucifer I did this about 4-5 months back when I was determined to understand enlightenment, after I had a couple enlightenment experiences I've refocused my priorities with the help of Leos life purpose course, so my practice has been just doing everyday for 30 minutes everyday to focus on the direction of my life -

With Jedi powers of self discipline of course haha but honestly I just wanted it really badly, I'd been already doing hour long meditations for about a month so that helped. -

2 hours, the most insightful meditation ever. Most proud moment in my meditation practice. I'd love to do it again. -
As every one says, YES! but I want to throw in my two cents, the reason most people don't is they don't even BELIEVE its possible. Most of the time the thought doesn't even occur to them! and this completely cuts off going forward with your dreams, in a split second your shooting yourself in the foot if you don't believe you can, And they just let life take them away. Another reason is because it's emotionally difficult, society is built on comfort and quick fixes. No one wants to do the hard stuff, NO ONE. More importantly YOU don't want to do the hard stuff, "why not jerk off and get the quick pleasure now instead of waiting a whole year when I can get that right now?!" Leo put it best----> “If you can’t delay gratification then you’re always just chasing for pleasure for the most immediate gain, and then what strategy can you have? There can not be a strategy if your strategy is immediate gain.” Always do what's emotionally most difficult, and you can achieve anything.

Even if we had a 1000% accuracy map its still a map. Think about an atom, we have a concept of an atom and an image, we are limited to our images and conceptual frameworks, there's a difference in having an image and having a thought about an atom to having the actual raw truth of an atom. We are limited to our subjectivity. Its still the map, not the territory. The problem is most people are doing this right now. So think about yourself, do you find yourself caught up in the map and not the territory? If you've been meditating you know the power of having the raw truth about what's happening right now in the moment, the sensations, the feelings, the sounds, thoughts, images and the awareness -- The truth about our own subjectivity, and that you are part of the territory, you are not the map of the territory. Which is where most people get stuck.

That's a good point I didn't look at it like that. Even though the principles and higher consciousness values look and seem pretty solid, there's always better mapping that can be done.

No, I'm undermining the whole paradigm of right and wrong, agreements and disagreements, what I'm saying is unless your in the paradigm of "holding no beliefs" whether you are in agreement or not in agreement of Leo or anyone else becomes irrelevant. Because the gray area is a massive iceberg that can't be seen or known because of subjectivity. so the whole paradigm that "this is more true", or "this is wrong" or "I'm disagreeing with this here", is living in falsehood because it's all bullshit, it's still your belief, it's still a perspective of subjectivity. To be accepting or rejecting beliefs is a paradigm that you think you know what's true and is not true even if you're not aware you are thinking that way. What I'm saying is don't believe ANYTHING ANYONE SAYS. It's still a belief that can be attached to as TRUE in your world view. If you're saying "This is true" or "this is wrong." or "I don't agree with that" you're living in falsehood. because IT'S ALL GROUNDLESS. just because your belief might be better or worse than someone else's belief doesn't change the fact that it's still a belief, still a concept, still not the territory. No ones telling you to blindly follow what people say, or accept everything Leo says, the only people who fall into that trap have no awareness at all. They don't recognize that it's still just a belief. they confuse the map for the territory. We should be independent thinkers and hold no beliefs with the help of awareness. Not accepting beliefs or disagreeing with them but using them as tools for the territory which is why I agree they are incredibly useful as you said.
-
Every one here should be mindful to Leo being wrong. People who want to argue that Leo could be wrong about some things are 1. Defending their beliefs to be true about reality. 2. Being dogmatic and attaching to beliefs about reality (which Leo talks about holding no beliefs because they are all virtually groundless) any concept, thought or idea are just that, they aren't the truth itself. anything anyone blabbers about any concept (including Leo and me), yes even enlightenment, is not actual truth. Like Leo says, "the map is not the territory." you can fight, defend, say something is wrong, say somethings more correct, or true. It doesn't matter. because all concepts and ideas are groundless, the only way to do true self actualization is open mindedness, and holding beliefs and truths and principles KNOWING that it's groundless and could be 110% wrong. But until something new is "known" we use them to self actualize, it's the best groundless belief that we "think" is most true about reality. but it's still a belief, still a thought, still the map, not the territory.

Being present in the moment is huge in these type of situations, personally when I started doing this the emotions and feelings in my body were just churning, and did my best to stay present and not let them emotionally "dominate" me. The more I did this the less I cared what they had to say in fact over time I spun it back on them in a positive way, their "shots" over time got easier and easier the more I did this. This can be incredibly difficult if you don't have a meditation habit in place, because without this your stuck in the reactive-response orientation. Always reacting instead of holding your ground or creating your own dominance. I can't stress enough how important meditation is here.

When things go down in the shit hole for me, the more I work on myself the more I get sparks of hope, why? because I always have the best growth from those types of situations, I always have a big insight that puts it all together, READ, do personal development. Find answers to why you feel this way. Leo covers so many topics and just one video can hold a golden nugget for you, I don't think you see yet how valuable these videos are. Allow yourself to change into the person you want to be, how you want to feel, this place can give you emotional support but it will only be a temporary fix, but, it's so much better for you if you change internally. Build positive habits (journaling and watching/studying yourself is a good start), new mindsets, new attitudes, wear them and see how they feel, allow yourself to grow. All the best.
-
That's because you have a weak ego, I had the same problem, I had to find my worth and my value before I could be grounded in what I believe in. The Life Purpose Course really helped among a lot of enlightenment experiences and contemplation. This helped me gain a stronger ego, it still needs work, but I'm grounded in my values, and what's meaningful to me. Cutting out victim mentality and negative thinking and doing mindfulness REALLY helped a lot with this. So if you want to have a strong ego, and grounded or (true humility) find your values, find what's meaningful to you, and don't be afraid to express yourself, and be yourself to the max 100% these topics go deep, so start looking into self image, and mindfulness, also how to stop being a victim.
-
So many high values that I want to embody... It's time to value pain, value struggle, value failure. As counter-intuitive as that may seem.
-
Humility is a powerful strength, it's only negative if you feel others are better or worse than you in some way. Humility is powerful because you can be standing next to a billionaire and easily connect with them, talk to them, because you see them as equal to you, no better. and this also goes for if you saw a bum on the streets who looked hard to even stare at, it would be no problem talking to him, connecting with him and learning from him. That would be no problem because again, you're Humble. You can learn from anyone no matter who they are, even pessimistic d-bags. They aren't better or worse than you, they are equal to you. Having humility always leaves room for growth which is very powerful, without humility, most people can get stuck.
-
Hell yeah, I think this would be a great idea, not just his logo but some powerful quotes from Leo. "Be A Strategic Mother Fucker" maybe even put it on a wallet like he said

Leo talks about it as an emergent phenomena of all of these 70 trillion cells in our body, this is where the deep illusion of self comes from, the emergent phenomena is the output of these 70 trillion cells. "You" are part of the collective of everything. Not separated from it. It feels it comes out of know where because the illusion of self creates this separation.
