What a woman wants from an evolutionary perspective is a loyal man and player sons, and the surest way to get player sons, is by having a reformed player as a man.

From a selfish gene/evolutionary biology perspective, the player will inherit his player genes to his offspring, who in turn will pregnate lots of women and inherit their mother's genes to their offspring. So the woman spreads her genes as much as possible, while also having a man that provides for her offspring.

I'm an INTP and I love spending time with ESFPs. The amount of energy and good vibes that these people can tap into always amazes me. I love going out with them. They are like a magnet for new people and opportunities, while I have the wits and good judgement, that helps us navigate the chaos and make the right decisions. I also feel like we bring out the best in each other - while they will do their thing out there and drag me along by the hand, I can use my creativity and wisdom to make them see the world with new eyes. I just love this duo.

How do you plan on surviving when it's freezing outside? Assuming you have really thought this through all the way and don't see any alternative path, at least travel to India and join some kind of ashram or spiritual community. There you will at least get some shelter, food and be able to pursue your spirituality (which will be the only worthwhile thing left at that point). This seems pretty fucking naive to me overall though, and I would strongly urge you to consider your alternatives.

If you want to do this the commerical way, you will pay at least 2k for transportation and 2-5k for rooms. You can cut this significantly, if you are comfortable with hitchhiking, carsharing, couch surfing etc. I don't know why you would want to travel through Europe during that time of the year though. The weather will be awful and there won't be nearly as much action, as during the summer. Also, three months in Europe will probably bore you to death, if you're travelling alone (especially during that time of the year). Don't let me discourage you, I just don't want you to be disappointed.

Why choose? Set up your life in a way where you can enjoy both. I'm currently traveling around visiting all my friends and partying a lot, and it's fucking amazing, but I'm also looking forward to being alone and working on my life purpose again. I love the dialectic between both ends, it really makes you appreciate things more. I used to live basically like a hermit for 4 years, and it was amazing in a sense, but there was also always something missing. Nowadays I like to just go out once a week and have some fun and enjoy myself and then come back to my work with a clear head. I don't think I ever want to go back to either extreme, socializing is a lot of fun, but doing serious work is also fucking meaningful, for me at least.

Yes a relationship is about giving and sharing, I'm with you on that. Some people are way too caught up in their own drama to receive or give love; and I just wouldn't choose to engage in a relationship with such a person, so what's the issue here?

Im not at a point in my life, where I'm willing to waste my time, trying to fix some troubled girl with daddy issues. If that's where you're at, and you feel like you can mutually grow with such a person, that's your business. Im not opposed to growing together, but this won't work if she doesn't at least have her basic shit together.

I'm not going to waste my time by trying to form a relationship with immature, needy, troubled people. I've been there, and it's just a giant pain in the ass, and doesn't really serve either party. That's what therapists are there for.

The problem with all this complexity/systems theory is, that I could probably spend the rest of my life going down that rabbit hole, without getting to the bottom of anything. I guess at some point you just have to pick your poison and focus on actually advancing something.

Someone has to worry about it. Even if it was somehow inherently baked into our system to keep evolving (like that chicken hatching example), someone has to play worried scientist and someone has to play inventor. We may just as well run out of energy and resources, before finding the next big breakthrough, and have to massively downscale (which is kinda what Nate is getting at with his "Great Simplification").
