So who created the creator? -
What do you mean? Germany is reactivating their mothballed coal plants in reaction to the gas shortages. If anything were regressing slightly right now.

Its kinda tricky. If you want to project a confident alpha male body language, you will have to fake it at first and it may feel and look a bit pathetic, but youre conditioning yourself to eventually be like that without "trying." Whether this is a meaningful pursuit, is something you must decide for yourself.

It's still entangled, no? Good intuition comes from experience and long term memory is what we call that experience.
-
I would say wisdom results from an interaction of your working memory, your long term memory and your Umwelt, all feeding back information into each other, in such a way that you see clearly and are able to make appropriate choices effortlessly. I would say intellect is less than that.
-
Schmachtenberger made the distinction once of intellect being computable and wisdom being non-algorithmic. I found it quite helpful.

Bonus points if you film yourself and upload it here

Hes like that one neighbor, that always hammers some fucking nails in the wall or moves his heavy ass furniture around. Its not that you fear him or dont accept him, hes just a pain in the ass. -

I bet you're fun at parties. -
Sure, although I would argue that one serious stage yellow person working on climate change or whatever per hundred thousand people probably has a bigger effect on society, than some extremely conscious Übermensch.

I think its pretty amazing already.

Would these 10 million people even differ from a random sample of the whole population in any meaningful way? I doubt even the 1 million followers are all that different from the general population. Idk, I dont think I quite get what your point is tbh lol.

As far as Im concerned, this is bogus. Death is literally death. This dream isnt there anymore. Its just pure formlessness, but you are still there, so its more the dream that dies, not you. Although, my experiences seem to be a bit different, because when this happened to me, I was purely formless and completely alone, but still kinda weirded out by it lol. It seems like, the moment you stop being cool with it, the dream gets reconstructed (it was kind of a tug of war in my case, and I literally watched as self and other were emerging and then dropping back into this pure oneness until the "trip" slowly wore off) - thats my experience with, what Im assuming were talking about here, at least. Maybe this is some specific quirk of mine and in your case the dream continues when you die (why not, I guess?), but yeah, thats what happened. -
Why is that? It can just simulate these functions in real time. Just like a minecraft world doesnt need to compute the whole world, but only the part you currently see. If an AI is given the command to produce some Micelangeloesque painting, it doesnt need to create or conceptualize the whole thing at a time, it only needs to incrementally get there from some kind of mental model (which, it gets exponentially better at, the more training data it has). I dont think there is consensus on the argument, that AI actually needs to be intelligent, to surpass humans in its capabilities. AI can fake superhuman levels of intelligence, without actually being intelligent, in the strict sense. IDK if this is actually accurate, but thats how I understand it at least.

Which only leads to further inflation.

What about the people that were already barely able to take care of their basic needs ? Also, how does the economy survive if nobody buys shit anymore? What about all those people that are gonna lose their jobs through this? Obviosuly, this is no good short-term. It may be a neccessary forcing function for a more sustainable economy, but I dont see any evolution in that direction right now (our government is pumping out 500€ stimulus checks for every citizen, in a desperate attempt to keep the ship from sinking- which is completely unheard of and absolutely mad). I dont know what is gonna happen over the next couple years, but this sure as hell is fertile ground for all sorts of shenanigans. A system far enough from equilibrium is extremely fragile and will become really chaotic, before inevitably phase-shifiting into a new state of order. The question is, whether this will be for better or for worse.

Every person who has thought about this for more than one second advocates for nuclear energy, as a bridge between fossil and renewable energy. Its actually a rather elegant solution, and the green activists of the 20th century have kinda shot themselves in the foot, with all their anti-nuclear protesting.

This is a neat example of AI being used to create beutiful art.
-
As far as I understand it, the AI learns that stuff itself at a certain point, and leaves the researchers in the dust, so thats no argument. I guess what Im talking about is kinda the "worst case" scenario. I hope we will have some kind of shared reality and create art for each other and hopefully AI will assist that, but I can totally see how this will lead us all into a solipsistic personalized entertainment bubble.

I think you are underestimating AI grossly. Just because it isnt possible now (which, we dont even know what the cutting edge really is), doesnt mean it wont be possible in a year or a decade. I fully expect AI to be able to create art that is indistinguishable from the real thing, sooner rather than later. There will still need to be someone telling the AI what to dream up, but I kinda doubt that this will be something we need actual artists for. As soon as everyone has private access to some galaxy brain AI, that can literally create anything they want, they wont turn to an artist anymore. People are way too obsessed with themselves and will just create their own, personalized entertainment bubble.
