Nilsi replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You want to institutionalize awakening to moralize and punish truth? Sounds like you have some serious issues my man. -

It's the most serious student for whom spirituality will be more than just belief and hearsay. -
You forgot the other 3 quadrants

The serious student wouldn't care about this nonsense. The only legitimate tenet is "does this help me awaken, or not?" -
Yes.

Are you asking whether we're gonna create life?

All the AI is doing is reporting back some information to you that it has been fed. It can't really make new connections and have original insights, at least the current iteration. I pushed it very hard to give me something original, but it just couldn't do it. -

lol yeah, that was wild. I don't think an AI could do that though. That's basically just trying to grasp your own mind with your mind until it breaks down. -
The same as juicing vegetables?!

That's exactly why we talk about psychedelics - so you don't sabotage yourself by misunderstanding a nuanced metaphysical point. -

Because you don't understand what God is -
Juicing fresh vegetables isn't much cheaper (if at all) and with AG1 you get everything you need (as far as vegetables go) with minimum effort. I like it a lot (tastes great as well). I don't eat any vegetables, so I might get more out of it than you would.

This is the same nonsense rationale that people were using to dismiss Schmachtenberger's spiritual development for years "hE iS tAlKiNg AbOuT cOnFiDeNcE iNtErVaLs AnD bAyEsIaN pRoBaBiLiTy." -
The invention of tools through recursive abstraction made humans orders of magnitudes smarter than their ancestors. If you view AI as a tool instead of your competition, the question who "wins" becomes obsolete.

It's one thing to know you're on planet earth and another to actually go travel around the world and explore it for yourself. That's all that anyone is saying. -
Do you have a better idea? Just sitting around doing nothing will make you miserable, so why not actually get serious for once and do something interesting with your life. If you became lucid in a dream, you wouldn't sit around waiting for it to end. That would be boring as hell.

Did you read Zarathustra yet?

That's precisely not what chaotic means. Chaos mean a system is behaving in such a way, where no matter how much you know about the initial or current conditions, it is impossible to predict it's behavior in the future.

If you want to live a "moral life," psychedelics will probably not contribute much to that. If you define the spiritual quest as the quest for truth (which I find quite reasonable as well), psychedelics will contribute a lot to that. Also, how can you be truly moral, without knowing your absolute nature? It's a charade, an act really. I can only make the same point I always make, which is to just take the best of both worlds and run with it.
