Of course you will realize „the truth of non-duality“ more easily in a social system that was designed to do just that. But who says you should value „the truth of non-duality“ over say „the truth of plurality?“ The only reason you value „the truth of non-duality,“ is because you’re already living it to some extend. And the only reason you’re living it, is because you grew up in a social system that has been profoundly shaped by Christian and Hegelian ideals. So there is nothing truly „universal“ about this kind of spirituality, other than the fact that we live in an age that has been shaped by certain corresponding idea(l)s. I would argue that true spirituality doesn’t start before you do not break out of this conditioning and evaluate everything from scratch (as do the high points of postmodernism). -
Interesting. I’ll just do the cycling thingy. Thanks a lot. I also love Kefir and consume it daily. Does that have to go as well?

What do you think about Schmachtenberger‘s new “Qualia Synbiotic“ product? I don’t have any underlying condition, but I heard many places that probiotics and fermented foods are great for gut brain health. Would you recommend taking this stuff preemptively?

This guy is such a hilariously bad actor.

His most famous work is literally called „difference and repetition,“ so duhhhh. To me Deleuze is the ultimate formulation of postmodern metaphysics - ABSOLUTE PLURALITY. I don’t even know what Spinoza is about, I’ll be honest. -

Talk to the people here. If you have some creative outlet, in which you can express these struggles more implicitly, that would be absolutely fantastic. Apart from that: suck it up and be proud of keeping your spirits high and moving forward despite the ENORMOUS responsibility that you are burdened with. -

Even that is just a perspective. Check out Gilles Deleuze, he will show you a reality that is fundamentally constituted of different essences. Absolute Plurality. -

Most likely outcome from how you talk is you’ll eventually tell this to the wrong person and end up in a psych ward — and no one will ever see who was „right.“ Don‘t bother other people with this, the odds someone you know will understand what you’re going through is virtually nonexistent. This will only create more problems for you. -
I just googled what a Bugatti lease costs per month and it’s 56.000€ pahahaha The point still stands though.
-
If I were to drive with a taxi to work (6km per drive) and back, I would pay 50€ a day (I’ve tested this). That‘s > 1000€ a month (excluding all the other occasions on which I might need a ride). I could lease a Porsche for that price. Now imagine someone living in the suburbs, having to drive 10/20/50km to work. They might as well buy a Bugatti.

I had such an experience and it scared the shit out of me — but it’s just a dream. Get over it. -
You call a taxi to get you where you need to go and your assistant to pick up your car. Anxiety = gone.

Better yet, set up your own private parking company. These types of companies are the most genius. 99% of people are too busy to sue you for a 70$ fine anyways and those who do, you just offer to drop the fine. Many will just not pay and you can not really do anything about that, because you know your business is shady — so, you just set up a debt collection business and scare people into paying. Even if there is some social justice warrior that takes you all the way to court (that is, if you actually do something legitimately criminal, which odds are you aren’t), you as a person will walk away from this undamaged, your company will pay a fine and worst case you can just trash the company and create another one. I know people that have become multimillionaires doing something similiar to this. Just a quick lesson in political realism, dont be mad.

The only long term solution is to make enough money to not have to freak out over some stupid parking ticket.

Nietzsche and Hegel (not because I‘m particularly keen on Hegel, but his ideas still deeply permeate all philosophical discourse and you can not really get around him). I could pick their brains for days on end. It would also be super interesting to ask for their take on contemporary philosophical problems (gender, existential risk, AI, etc.). Hitler would also be very intriguing, but I suspect he would be mostly hot air, without much substance.

Reality is INFINITE, so even though this perspective is perfectly legitimate and intrinsically consistent, it is still merely a perspective. This is the same trap Schopenhauer got stuck in and was eventually overcome by Nietzsche and later lucidly communicated by Deleuze in his classic „Nietzsche and Philosophy“ (in case you want to consult someone who „gets it“). -
Ughh, same. We once went on a class trip to rome and these suckers fucked up my ankle so bad, that I had to cut away the ping-pong-ball-sized lump with a knife to even fit in my shoes.

This seems to be the crux of it. You‘re clearly acting out some classic eastern spiritual mumbo jumbo („action and desire is the root of suffering,“ „life is an illusion and participating in it is evil,“ etc.) - you even mentioned JK as your „guru“… So basically you‘re projecting your shadow into Leo and picking a fight with him, now that he’s at a low point, because deep down it bothers you that other people, who are not as „virtuous“ as you, are more successful and happy. Just drop your caveman philosophy and all will be good.

Classic. Their new stuff is pretty good as well.

I look silly in coats. You have to be very tall and massive to pull this off (e.g. Tristan Tate). I tend to stick to the "law of thirds" - even when it comes to jackets and stuff, I dont like anything below hip length.

Because society doesnt pressure you into being successful — by most peoples standards you are „successful,“ if you have a shitty 9 to 5 job, an ugly girlfriend with no personality, equally ugly and uninteresting kids and a shitty house that comes with a lifelong debt. Now granted, you could do even worse, but being a soulless spineless cuck is bad enough. True success is very rare and requires HUGE effort over years and decades. Dont worry about having „wasted time“ - just focus on creating a positive vision for your life and doing something that gets you closer to that everyday.

It's not about what you think. You are either a winner or a loser and by default everyone is a loser. Now the question is, are you OK wasting your life, or do you want to make something out of yourself?
