I work in dementia care home and they are confused all the time. I see they get confused when they are trying to understand what is happening but can't. I have also experience confusion quite a bit for some reason if I go to bed before 9 I will wake up at 11 and be very sweaty and confused. During these states I see my mind and I see that it is trying to grasp at something but not sure what to grasp. So I would agree that confusion is ignorance without knowing what you are ignorant about. It stems from trying to ground yourself in reality but not knowing what to grab onto. Its like existing but not being able to question anything. Simple solution to confusion stop questioning what is happening. God is having you in a dream state while something inside of you is trying to get into the ego reality.

@jdc7733 you just tell your mind what you want it to remeber you can pay attention to your thoughts and not pay attention to them. Pay attention to the things you want your mind to think and don't when its bringing up stuff you don't want to think. You can program your mind to sing mary had a little lamb 24/7 non stop for you and you don't have to think about singing it it will do it automatically like all your other thoughts. Your brain has a hard drive in it and everytime you think about something its asking you if you want to remeber it or not and by paying attention to what it is saying, you are saying yes I like to think about this. If you dont like a thought ignore it if you like it then bask in it thats how you program your mind. If your mind is saying crazy shit its cause you keep reacting to the crazy shit its saying. But you are not any of your thoughts period its just a program.
