I am in the UK. There is a much higher level of tension here. At the moment the conscription rhetoric is to prepare people for that possibility, not to engage in it. To propagandize them somewhat to the idea. As i've said many times all countries are shifting right, with more indifference to human life, fascism vs anarcho-capitalism is rising, the left wing is being effectively suppressed or removed, so there is no counterbalance to it. This has been going on for 20 years. If you look at America's actions through the lens of their influence trying to hold Iran, Russia and China in check, most decisions they make can at least be explained in that manner, whether someone agrees with them or not. Many countries already embody some of the core themes of fascism or at least are reaching it. This means more border conflicts, and a rising potential of WW3. When you add to that the US influence is pulling back to be more isolationist (and fascist themselves), while BRICS - Russia/China/Iran are pushing their influence outward to test what they can grab War is already going on in Europe, Russia vs Ukraine. Is war likely further inside Europe, in the next 10 years? More so than before. Its very hard to put an exact value on something with so many moving pieces, I would doubt anyone saying this with absolute certainty at this stage, that the larger global powers will engage directly. No it won't be nukes as a first step, that is irrational fearmongering, certainly, we could see them though. Its a certainty that we are in a period of greater global instability because we are living it. I do expect more conflicts. Do I think Russia could invade Europe successfully on ther own, no. I think they could try though, certainly with Chinese manpower they could. If Trade continues to break down we'll see greater calls for war, it's often linked to trade throughout history, and it's why a war with Iran is being given any attention at all because trade is affected. -
Maybe you are not supposed to be doing it all yourself and you never were. I wish I could have been with people when I made music. I could never line the beat up with the melody, despite all my ability at writing melodies and improvisation skills. I had a lot of piano experience in my youth. Maybe engaging other people who are also enthusiastic will help you fill in the blanks, like your friends on that project, I think it would have helped me. Make sure they are going to be in alignment with you though, and strengthen your weaknesses, (avoiding drugs which was my very talented brother's pitfall) that sort of thing. Nothing much better in life than a group of people who all want to be doing something, and all want to be there.

BTW as someone who lives in a small town, where everyone knows each others business, its no easier at all for the men to date here either I know where you are coming from in that regard. Especially if you are like me and are repulsed at the modern idea of sex being a game. I just be myself, I am comfortable with myself, it takes no special effort or learning, I tend to be a serious person and so I attract women who look for that when I am putting myself out there. I am not currently doing so or wanting a relationship, mostly because of finances. If I really wanted casual sex like I did in my 20's, i'd use tinder and message 20 women at once, then another 20, then another 20. if I wanted more of an authentic experience, i'd go on speed dating nights. You get 5 minutes to make an approach speed dating, to maybe two or three dozen women, and its over so fast that you don't have time to be nervous, or overthink anything. It's like cramming much experience into a few nights out, with no pause for breath. I don't have special charisma, i'm average-looking, I am honest and I do listen, I got the nickname 'lucky' at university, (I never felt lucky) but it was only because I approached a lot of women that I got to talk to more of them than my friends who didn't approach much. I wasn't even that lucky, I got one decent relationship with a sweet girl and I was happy with that till I blew it. -

Let me make a simpler reply than my last. You will not have bodily urges without a body. You will forever seek unity until you are whole. -
BlueOak replied to Muhammad Jawad's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Muhammad Jawad When the urge to overeat comes up, stay with that feeling instead of eating it away. Go sit with it, feel what its telling you. Be there for it. Help it. Learn from it. Protect it. Let it protect you. Comfort it. These are merely examples. If an image comes to you, visualize the image or part of you it is. If it's an emotion instead, go with that. Trust you'll know what to do. If you need help this book worked for me: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Completion-Process-Practice-Yourself-Together/dp/1401951449 It sounds like you are aware of two personalities. Its likely there'll be many pieces of you, and sometimes these patterns or behaviors conflict. Much of her work is about the integration of these personalities, and the last short video here is about ego work. The AND consciousness as she described, as it might help you also. I like to, as the book instructs, spend time with a personality as i've discussed, really feel what its telling you and understand the message, and only if it wants to slowly integrate it to the whole (adult me) visually and feeling it complete in the emotional body. You might find it held in some area of the body. Often it's a childhood part of you being protected by the protective personality you are experiencing, so I'd treat it with care. Though it could in your case be two adult voices that you've heard somewhere, maybe family, society, role models, or close friends, and you have conflicting messages attached to food or freedom to eat. So you could meditate on what food and eating means to you. I often disagree with Teal but rarely on the internal world. *If there is any mistrust or resistance that comes up, I assure a pattern/piece/personality two things. 1, It can remain a piece of you as long as it likes, 2, By becoming you, it can express itself through you any time it wants in alignment with the rest of you. -

The first part of your message I aligned with, this part I completely flip on its head. A flow state can be experienced by anyone. Being stuck can be experienced by anyone. Increased awareness might mean you can get in the flow more easily, so does drive, ambition, success, luck, or a positive outlook. I'd caution an absolute view, because otherwise, for example, you could well have an experience you consider unconscious and thus negative in some form. You could remain blocked for a year, not realising the block was the point, or the acceptance of X was the point, or or or, do you understand? An absolute view of anything is only ever going to get challenged or hinder you one day. By your definition, I am the least awake or aware person on Earth. I mean that almost literally, you will not find someone so far out of a flow state than me, that has incredible difficulty manifesting anything at all other than the act itself. So I take that to mean I must appreciate the act for what it is, not the result, with your view the lesson I have to repeat until I (love/accept/integrate it) would be missed. -

The elements created this body. Specifically a biological reaction. You are looking at this in reverse. Infinity doesn't start or end with the human ego's dictation of what it wants or can create. If it did, I would be a trillionaire and we would be colonizing Mars tomorrow. I am a fractal pattern of the universe that is repeated by consciousness, repeated within myself. -

Cable news will rot your brain if you listen to it too much. A civil war requires millions of people willing to organize and kill their neighbors. Most would understandably not want war, but if its on your doorstep with those you love or know dying, its 100 times worse meaning even fewer people will want such a thing. Nobody speaking truthfully like this has been in any kind of conflict, they are talking heads paid to sensationalize news. What the Republicans want is two-fold, to portray Biden as 'not the safe candidate or milk toast candidate' that middle America votes for, and use radicals or fear as a way to pressure for more control over their own states. The idiocy in this is it could either reignite a movement to split the US up or normalize political violence, and then they will say 'oh not us we just happened to say words that people took seriously'. This passive-aggressive way of using people is manipulative and dangerous. This is a more sober view, from an actual combat veteran with experience of border issues. I don't always agree with him but here he breaks down who has authority sensibly and who can or cannot do what. -

Also, I see the patterns i've been in that affected others. From hurting or harming someone, from the times I rescued someone from abuse, or cowardly ghosted them because of depression. Both of those things help/harming led to that person realising more of who they are, boundaries being established or marriage to a more healthy guy. This was especially evident when I worked in natural foods, or had a spiritual group was I able to go to. One was coming for answers and I could connect several relevant dots, the other group was open and listening naturally to each other directly wanting spiritual experiences or observations. -
BlueOak replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
How did each of us get here? Was it a collection of experiences that included other people? It doesn't have to be, but there are usually others involved in some form. For me it started at childhood, I see all the patterns that brought me here, and they involved a lot of others along the way. -

I'd question what saying everything is an illusion meant. Does it make it less than it was before you thought that? Its still what it is. Everything's a dream! WHACK you get hit in the face by a dreamy problem and it still hurts or confounds you. Do you see what i'm saying? Its not less than some other value (you also invented), just because you now know you are infinity and its inside of you. I'd set my intent in my dreamtime to go right to its metaphorical front door or whatever part of my psyche was wanting a word. I'd ask what it was showing me or wanting, then i'd do what my intuition said. Maybe it needs hearing/seeing and then integrating into your life, maybe its a boundary issue and you tell it to get lost, maybe it's a problem headed your way you are getting heads up about, it could be anything. You can do this in meditation too of course if you want more conscious control, unless you are a lucid dreamer and have more control over your dream time. Remember though whatever it is, its you. I used to do a lot of third-eye work, and so sometimes i'd get experiences with things that bothered me. If all of this sounds too much, you are infinity, you have an infinite amount of ways to communicate, to talk to parts of yourself. Back when I was much younger, I liked calling up my ancestors for help that night with whatever problem it was. We have more of a connection through our biology than most realise or explore. That's just one more tool in your toolbox. You could burn white sage, use Tibetan bells (and Tibetan dorje), keep some white Selenite crystals around next to you while you sleep for clarity, or listen to high-frequency sounds to clear the space if it was problematic, perhaps solfeggio sounds to clear things. -

It's almost a perfect reflection in reality. You don't know the hopelessness scam victims feel, it has no other outlet. I am completely fine with scammers being shamed nationally. A lot of the governments these people operate in are turning a blind eye at best, or getting paid off at worst. I say that because unless something is getting international attention, few seem to care and little action is taken. The amount of pain these scammers inflict on their victims has been degrading society for a decade or two now. What some of these channels do is raise their profile enough, that they are shut down permanently, and give these things a consequence to deter others. It even affected me, I cannot hear an Indian voice on the phone and not think scammer immediately. At the worst point, I was getting scam calls twice a week, or every other day, and all of them were Indian accents. Its not like I sit here and think hmm, that accent must be a scammer, it becomes just an instinctual reaction. I've managed to stop family members getting scammed by luckily being there, but many people are not so lucky, and who can they turn to or get relief from that anger/grief/hopelessness when they are ripped off? Nobody. They have no recourse, they just blame themselves, or turn racist, and their level of trust or openness goes down, their cynicism rises and it creates ripple effects throughout society. Not to mention doing business with India has such a stigma with it now, because of their association with this scamming industry. Forget there ever being an Indian call center again for the UK, whereas Indian call centers used to be our primary choice. Yes it's a type of pornographic content. Its like when they go through a really poor area of a city, most people are just watching it to see how poor it is, and have an experience, which only has limited usefulness and does feed off of suffering. The limited usefulness is that people are more aware of the reality going on, which makes it worth it. In this case, sometimes they go to jail, feel enough shame they stop doing this, or others are given pause for thought. -

Nice video, grateful for that imagery. @tuku747 Yes, the ego needs a constant reminder in the external reality that this way Leads back to infinity. <--------- -------> This way does not. Because we've concealed the fact we are infinity, we still need reminders of it. Otherwise it's just blindness. @Princess Arabia I do like the summary and I'm mostly in alignment with your thinking. One thing to consider in thinking what you say is a forgone conclusion. Infinity is capable of infinite amounts of BS, so you could be here forever. I often like to look at the rising population on earth, as an indicator that we have a bottleneck of people waiting to reintegrate with infinity. If the population was more constant, then I'd say we'd reached a more balanced system here. Unless the design is for us to be on multiple planets at once, but that won't be happening on mass, if at all, for a thousand years. -
With money its easier, if you can support yourself you are more likely to get a visa or citizenship. If you are low on money, many countries in the west and elsewhere, will take on foreign workers going abroad to work. It won't be the same as living abroad permanently but it will buy you time to save up money and begin to make that happen, while at the same time getting you out of your own country at the earliest opportunity. https://www.gooverseas.com/work-abroad https://www.prospects.ac.uk/jobs-and-work-experience/working-abroad https://jobs.goabroad.com/ There are many websites, do a search for 'working abroad'. It is a way to experience those countries or locations in them firsthand, do a bit of a search to see if people have talked about the company or experiences that you are interested in so you can better understand what you are signing up for. Additionally, i'd look at countries close to you that hire workers or staff from your country, as they may require people who speak your language, or relate to your culture. Even with no skills, you can look for language jobs teaching your language at colleges or jobs such as being a translator written or verbal overseas. As a final option in an emergency, join a volunteer program, and take on a part-time job while you are there to pay the bills, i'm 99% sure the volunteer agency will help you with that, as they will likely get that question a lot.

That was my defacto thinking for a long time. Tell me have you ever chosen something that is the opposite to this, even knowing the other action would put you closer to love, infinity or connection? -
BlueOak replied to thierry's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I used to say everyone is trying to reach a state of love, but i've edited that message a lot. I think people have the choice to do so, over and over again. In every action, we get to choose division, confusion, disassociation etc. Or we get to choose, connection, love, harmony etc. Each time we pick the latter, we embody more of ourselves. -
BlueOak replied to thierry's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Everyone has the option to try to reach a state of love or experience love. Even the person you dislike the most can be trying to do so. There doesn't have to be a low or high. Just ways of reasoning and experiencing the world that embody more of infinity. -

Our own lives tend to correct selfish behavior unless we are insulated from consequences. -

Individual parts of you are at different stages of awareness. We have behaviors in ourselves that reflect different stages of development. It's a useful reference sheet but no model is perfect. I was most resistant to hierarchy when I arrived here, until I saw the hierarchies inside myself and their usefulness (and harm). Although a part of me still resists saying things like: That person is more conscious than that person - Because they are both representations of me, and both entirely made from consciousness. I saw and accepted the pattern that people develop along, regarding different issues closely follows the spiral dynamics model, and the further along they are on it, often the more life-enhancing their answers are, or at least their capacity for giving them increases. Yes the model will be improved, but I haven't seen a better one. -
BlueOak replied to AerisVahnEphelia's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Its a way to refer to people who are acting in disorder rather than order, disharmony, or disunity by a strong focus on their self-concept or self at the expense of others. Order in this context being the currently defined stable way for the group or collective to act, by a social contract or social norms. I agree it is unhelpful because it cuts us off from reaching them and divides us. At the same time, a strong focus on being selfish does the same, so it's a fair reflection in the outside world of the behavior. -
BlueOak replied to Emotionalmosquito's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Are you everything? If you answer yes - Then yes you are also sex. A billion people having sex. Trillions of animals having sex, the creative force behind the creation of life. That elation you feel when having sex, that is the closest most get to feeling infinite love, infinite connections, eternally everything. REALLY REALLY try to get into an infinite love state just for 5 minutes, I wish I could give that gift to everyone here. Spend a few weeks loving everything, put yourself into that state constantly no matter what it is, with the intent of being infinite love, gratitude, joy, and openness. That's what you get to return to being, all of it and beyond. It might help to think what sex is, beyond the physical act, or animal instinct. Its creation, connection to yourself through intense feeling, fertility (which is fundamental in this reality, earth acts as a womb for life), Kundalini Energy, preserving DNA, the birth point of everything that physically manifests here, the reproduction of infinity into infinite forms. So yes the creative force that first bred life into this universe is going to exist long after this physical body of mine or yours is gone, and you are still going to be it. Here to go deeper into a spiritual video - Going to rate this mid in terms of difficulty, don't take things too literally, have a calm mind before listening. He does do a fair job of laying each point out to go into the next. Or you can go back to being a human going through life unconsciously (or consciously!) and go back to having sex as a self. Everyone gets that choice. I need to always say don't rush it either, there is a reason you have this life, and a reason you are having every experience. -

Here is a repeat pattern for you. A gathering of people on stone steps down to a small pit with a stone alter, a man in a headdress is chanting, and singing, there is fire around him and he makes the fire appear on the alter. Sitting in a dark arena with flashing lights, and music, in a crowd, while at the center someone unveils holographic red flame at an IT convention. Do you see it's a pattern, and it's not changed all that much? The only thing is at the end of this, you say okay I want to be infinity again, an end of the individual pattern(s) you observe/experience, or not. Sure there are a lot of steps to get to that realisation, but I guarantee you if you want to stick around for another bunch of lifetimes nobody and nothing is going to be able to stop it. So you've got the choice right now. Do you want to keep learning all the patterns as they come one by one, or instead start embodying them all at once? (Or some combination of that in different densities or levels of stillness) -
What it comes down to is people would rather not address the issue than address the issue. That's it in a nutshell. Addressing the issues behind homelessness is much harder, messier, and takes a lot of work. Gathering these people together in one location, where trained professional staff can make a difference is the easiest way to do so. Such a commune would have the press all over it saying how terrible it was, despite the fact all of this is going on anyway, just out of sight and untreated.
-
Because you can't form an effective solution by picking and choosing what you will and will not accept about reality. Unless you are willing to engage with as much as you can, or your team can, then everything will fall short of what it could be. Ethics are important, but they don't put a roof over your head. Humane Morals are great, but they won't put food in the belly. Nobody can be taught to help themselves, by someone solely focused on helping them. I should clarify, provide all the tools, provide the conditions for change to occur, listen to them, help them get to the point they can help themselves. Lots of work can be done in these areas through many different instutitons. Bank loans to homeless people who qualify. Taking the top 10% of homeless people most likely to payback the loan, giving them accommodation, clean water to shower, and food. So those who have been employed in the recent past, or have worked for decades, and are clean from drugs/drink. Then putting in a program to get people to that point, for those that want to aspire to it. It's a missed opportunity for a bank, because people let ethics get in the way here, if its done ethically in good faith it'll be ethical. Next i'd also do a commune, where the people there paid for the commune, through their services or products produced. Not ideal at all, but better than a street corner, and it will teach them lifeskills. Plumbing for the guy looking after a few of these locations, cooks, cleaning, basic electrics for another person, carpentry to repair the beds/doors, food they could grow, you get the idea. Then something they could sell to keep themselves self-sufficient, or as close to it as possible, that's the kind of program to get people to the point, that a bank would look at those lifeskills and say yeah they are worth the chance of investing in. The rule would be no drugs or drink, getting people clean or giving them a reason to get clean. Of course many of these communes would be full of problems, that could be addressed there and then by qualified staff, but again it gives people a reason to try to get better, to improve their own lives. All of which would be better than letting people suffer on their own, in silence, under a bridge, discarded, unheard, their potential never realised for what it could be.
