Every second is an opportunity to meditate. You don't need to sit down to meditate. In fact I think your situation is a great opportunity for MORE meditation not less. How to do it? Just observe your breathing and be aware of it. Breath is the best meditation tool ever. Whatever your doing, breathing is there to Support you and keep you alive, it doesn't go away. When awarness of breath is present, thinking (monkey mind) is not. So you don't need to find time to sit down. Do this and you Will be able to meditate the whole day while doing stuff. -

Try writing down everything somebody is saying to you without repeating those words in your mind. You can turn this into a meditation practice. I have practiced this a lot while in school and it's powerful. It's harder than speed reading. -

@Arman Sync! We are all connected. It's more about the energy of the place than the vision of the place. Here is a Picture of the most high energy spots on earth. lol Do you think being enlightened makes you the perfect example of a human being in terms of behaviour? It doesn't. Enlightenment is different than personal development. Sure, when your enlightened you tend to gravitate towards the healthy but being enlightened Will never make your behaviour all perfect. Perception needs to be moulded, enlightenment is not a mould. And even if the perception is moulded appropriatelly an enlightened being can still indulge in those behaviors because he doesn't take his judgements too seriously. Leo mentioned somewhere on the forum about a zen monk that started meditating at 12 years and after his 100 birthday he was sexually mollesting children for a few years until his disciples came to him and asked him to stop or something like that. -

The best place to meditate is in an energetic vortex. You have to be sensitive enought to find it though + a lot of time to hike. I like meditating near natural water springs. Those locations put you in a deep meditative state easily. -

Pea protein powder. Most whey products are made from diary products, also they contain artificial sweeteners, check the contents. It's really hard to find a protein powder made from plants + natural sweetener in my local area (only hemp protein for example but it's expensive). So whenever I buy protein powder I buy Pea protein - natural flavor.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Nobody can mould me in any form. No one can put me into a mould and expect me to follow the status quo that is attributed to the mould. I am able to dissolve the mould. So... it depends on the timeline. Ultimatelly, I don't think it's that important if you are following the sheep or not. I think it's more important to dissolve the mould in which you get sucked into and not get trapped in it. Sometimes it's cool to get into the mould sometimes it isn't that's why dissolving it it's so important. You can play the game as a lower self, higher self or formlessness that transcends all projected forms. Most people play the lower self game most of the time with a few sprinkles of higher self here and there. Don't get dogmatic about the higher truth, even if it's higher. You are a particle but also a wave. If your in a group of people, it's important to recognize the patterns in people that sorround you. Comformity doesn't only have negatives it also has positives. You can hack the system from the inside using the same system. If your interested how to do that, you must find it yourself.

@Peace and Love I would like to try more raw vegan recipes. Do you have any good resources or recommendations on that? YouTube channels, books..? Is the book you recommended also filled with recipes? I Will most probably order some of those books, do you have any of them? Looks promising. https://www.amazon.com/Oh-She-Glows-Cookbook-Recipes/dp/1583335277/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1501220985&sr=1-1&keywords=raw+vegan+cookbook https://www.amazon.com/Fully-Raw-Diet-Exercise-Recipes/dp/0544559118/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1501224567&sr=1-4&keywords=raw+vegan+cookbook https://www.amazon.com/Practically-Raw-Flexible-Recipes-Anyone/dp/1449460089/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1501220985&sr=1-6&keywords=raw+vegan+cookbook I have learned about a machine - spiralizer, that creates spaghetti out of cucumbers and zucchini and that looks amazing. I Will buy this but need to find more recipes for making sauces to spread over them.

@Edvard 1.) My body just moves without me thinking (hearning mental sounds). It's the same for you, your body is moving on auto pilot. But parallel to that if your identified with ego, you attach to unnecessary thoughts that come up and basically with that you create unnecessary mental sounds that disturb the inner piece. (yes, You can have thoughts and maintain inner piece but it's better to have NO unnecessary thoughts - like for example, your doing chores and simultaneuosly thinking about a person that is not present there with you...forget about that, just focus on doing the chores) . The ego thinks it is the driving force to which the laws of nature bend, however the ego is just a byproduct of the natural laws. You don't have to be in the no-mind all the time till you die I am recommending this for a period of a few months until it becomes automatic and just with that you Will cut years of traditional sitting meditation practice which is totally worth it, by being aware of the breathing for a few months constantly, after a while unnecessary thoughts STOP popping up and that helps you a lot in this journey to enlightenment. You can do this the slower way or the faster way, the end result Will be the same, since attachment to thoughts creates unnecessary suffering in my opinion it's best to let go of that as fast as possible and the best way to do that is by being aware of the breathing and paying attention to all perceived light and sound - that grounds you in being. You are not achieving anything with enlightenment so in my opinion it's best to become enlightened as fast as possible. It's not like your gaining anything with enlightenment, your just losing unnecessary emotions (sadness, jelously, doubt, envy, guilt, shame, depression, anger, frustration, fear...) and thoughts (stories of past and future, negative thinking, judgements...). 2.) I went to the dentist a couple of times in the last 3 years. Nothing really serious. They jsut sharpened some of my teeth and I was observing that and taking as a meditation, was not reacting, it was cool. -
@Joseph Maynor The ego has no control, it only creates the illusion of control by attaching to thoughts. Thoughts are made out of meaning and meaning is illusory because existentialy there is nothing behind meaning. So... control makes sense only to the ego. The other thing is if your aware. If your aware of awarness than you can act arationaly. Than if you want you can attribute an illusory interpretation that it was due to control. But actually it wasn't. It was just because awarness was more aware of awarness which is very different from the notion of control. Within the illusion of control there is an assumption that you(ego) has a total control of the whole process in which your engaging. It's basically an assumption that ego is the driving force of your life. It thinks that he has total control over the forces of nature without realizing that it is a byproduct of the forces of the nature. If your stuck in the illusion of control you might say something like: I Will be focused for 8 hours on reading this book without an interruption. But you also at the same time know that yesterday and 10 years prior to that you haven't done anything like that. But because your stuck in this illusion you assume like it's gonna happen and you Will be in control of the whole process. Than after a few hours the reality strikes. Your consciousness becomes more aware that the body needs food. This hunger persist and you can't concentrate anymore, than you give up and say to yourself "ohhh, I Will do it tomorrow, now I need to eat because I'm hungry" or for example a thought pops as "I would love to chech actualized.org forum now and than you check it". That happened not because you were in total control but because your subconscious is much more powerful than your conscius intentions. In reality it's consciousness that is the driving force. So if you want total "control" be aware, but it Will be emotionally very difficult at the beginning. You Will feel like burning on fire. Trough time you Will get used to it though and it Will be easy and automatic. But that's not possible if your still identified with the ego. If your identified with ego it's better to find other methods.

@SFRL How to handle the elephant? hmmmm. By being arational. That which worked with the monkey doesn't work with the elephant. When the elephant goes into a dead end, be arational and swich his direction. It's hard and you need to be able to do this for years, consistently, everytime it's needed. Switching the direction of the elephant in 1 second when it's needed. To do this the only way is to be aware of awarness. Not just that but by being aware of MORE awarness when the decisive moment is present. You need to be able to recognize that moment. That moment is very important. The decisive moment Will be triggered by a memory of a perception. Reality is non-linear, so don't even expect a linear process, you need to be able to recognize the decisive moment and expand awarness of awarness in that moment. After a while, you and the elephant Will be so aligned that you could go in a teritory that was previously non accessible. It Will be like locked doors Will open in front of you without needing a key to open them. -
AleksM replied to Joseph Maynor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Joseph Maynor Awarness is awarness. Awarness is the True Self. Perceptions don't matter here. It doesn't matter what perception you have, the True Self is present everywhere, it's non-local, non-dual. So to answer you question, yes this awarness is the same for everyone. Note that awarness can be more aware of itself or less aware of itself. But still awarness is the same for everyone. Not just for humans but also for other beings that are in a different physical form. How to get a taste of this? Be aware. Be aware of awarness. Recognize that this awarness is the same awarness that is present in every fractal of existence. Recognize the sameness in everything. To get a taste of this psychadelic are useful but you don't need them, you can use your imagination because your brain doesn't differentiate between what's imagined and what's real. Imagine that your entire perceptional field went away. The easiest way to do this i found to do for me is by imaginining with my eyes open that my entire visual perception went away the next second. Imagine like you would actually disapper the next second. Notice that which doesn't change. Notice that it actually goes away everytime, you blink with your eyes. (yes black is still a color but it's easier to be aware of only one color than of 1 million colors) Also recognize the wichcraft of words. Do you really need a certain combination of words to alter the perception so that you can finally be aware of awarness? It doesn't make sense. Awarness is always present no matter what combination of words the perception is made out of. -
Awarness IS. However awarness can "become" (be) more aware of itself. More aware of awarness. Awarness of awarness. The ego can perceive the effects of change that the awarness "made". You cannot perceive with perception directly awarness, however you can perceive how awarness affected content, and the mind Works with content it cannot work with no-thing. The mind(ego) can only perceive what already happened. When the awarness already expanded itself the ego is just perceiving what already happened (expansion of awarness). Awarness can be aware of more awarness because it is awarness. So that means that it can only be what already is. It means that awarness can be more of what already is, because it is aware of itself(aware of awareness) awarness that is infinite. Increasing awarness makes sense only to ego. Awarness (God) can only be more aware of itself (aware of more awarness). Already Increased awarness can latter be perceived as if the awarness is increasing, but the fact is that awarness already increased. At a certain point awarness can be only aware of more awarness if it goes beyond the sensory perception of itself(ego). So that it's not only aware now but also here. That is being here and now. I have made a post yesterday about this. https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/12771-important-the-difference-between-here-and-now/

An "alien" Will never pop up of no where and try to kill you. Advanced extratterestrials don't have evil intentions. If they had, the earth would not be here anymore, it would be destroyed in a nanosecond if they choosed to. We as humans are more dangerous than those "aliens" because of the fear programming. When we transcend the fear we can actually connect with peaceful extraterrestrials, if you have fear it's very unlikely that you Will perceive them. But the mainstream media Will not tell you this. It's main concern is to maintain the fear in the masses. And those thoughts that you're describing are most probably been programmed in you by the mainstream media. If consciousness work makes you fear ghosts and "aliens", your expanding thinking not awarness during your consciusness work. If your were expanding awarness you would be open and accepting if a ghost or an "alien" showed up. It would not disturb you at all. What disturbs you is the thought that pops up in your awarness. The identification with this thought. Polarity. When your identified with thoughts you are expanding their meaning after a thought pops up. When your identified with ego(thought, belief, perception, interpretation....) you can get lost in this meaning unable to shift your awarness. Awarness cannot disturb you. What's happening to you is normal. It's a purging process. Keep on expanding your awarness. It gets worse before it gets better. -

The infinite in one Picture. A fractal. Circle ->Triangle->Triangle in the opposite direction->Then that creates new triangles->You make a circle around those triangles->Make another triangle upside down inside those triangles->New triangles->Make a circle around those triangles->Triangle upside down->New triangles........... -
Being in the here and now #Understanding non-local consciousness, non-linearity In short: A lot of paths for personal and spiritual growth recommend, that we are in the now as much as possible. This means to not be in our mind and think about the past or future but to be aware and observant of the present moment. Besides that we are conscious of our breath and physical body we can go a step further and include in our consciousness the entirety of the world/creation/the whole universe. And than we are not only in the now but also here. When we are here we're also preventing that we go into the mind and besides that, we also take into consideration all interests of all beings in the whole world/universe/creation regardless of that we're not able to to observe them now with our limited senses. ------ In the assembly of different movements for personal and spiritual growth there is a talk about how important is being with consciousness in the present moment. To be in the now. Then it also exists a second reminder that talks about that we are here. So what's the differencer between here and now? In our mind we can think about the past or future. And when we're thinking in those two dimensions of course, we're not observant about what's happening around us in the present moment. We lose the consciousness of our nearly environment in the present moment. And so it is recommended to not think about things that are not a part of our present nearly reality and be as much as possible in the consciousness of the present moment. BUT if we are with consciousness in the now there is still a question about how wide and/or complete is our consciousness. Since that we can opperate from the present moment and say to our selves "We are here. I am here. I am effeciently breathing. I am preventing thoughts from deceiving me into thinking about the future or past in connection with things and people that I'm meeting in the present moment. So..I'm not allowing the projection of my past experiences on the present moment." But still we can be very limited with this because we can only take into consideration our nearly reality, only those things that we can see with our eyes in our nearly environment. The other thing is if we opperate from the point of what is here. Here doesn't only encompass that which we perceive with our limited senses but what is here represents tho whole physical world/the whole physical creation that exists in the present moment regardless of where it's located. So when we are with consciousness in the present moment AND at the same time here, that means that we don't only take into consideration our own interest, our limited reality in the sense of a few kilometers around our physical body but we take into consideration the whole of reality no matter how far it is from our location of our physical body. And with that way/manner/attitude of handling reality than we can take into consideration the interests from all other beings in the whole creation. And that attitude/manner/way enables us that we're truly responsible that we behave as exemplary living being that considers all life, all beings regardless of in what physical form they are and how far they are located from our physical body in that moment. So, I am inviting you that in your attitude towards life your not only taking into consideration your present limited circumstances and besides that you understood the importance of being in the now that your also understanding the importance of taking into consideration the whole of creation/reality that currently exists. ~ Valentin Rozman Translated from Slovenian. I think that was an extremely important point for you guys to come across so I have fut the effort of translating this.

I didn't watch the videos. But I could tell you that most detoxification advice is dead wrong. It's bullshit. Most people say that you need a detoxification period to get rid of this toxic material...So you go on a detoxification diet for 10 days and you feel good. Well yes, you Will feel better but your also doing damage to your body if your detoxing for that long. Your body is detoxing every single day!!! So align with that. The hours between 4AM - 12PM the body is in detoxification mode. During that time it's important to drink a lot of water. Also at that time it's best to eat LIGHT and LIQUID, for example smoothies and juices. That is the only advice you need. It's that powerful. Edit: I Will get this book in the future, there is a lot of good information in it. I Will test his recommended food combinations but I Will not go on a diet, that's for sure. I am detoxing every day till 12PM and it Works great even without any special knowledge. I just prepare juices and smoothies with whatever I have available.

100% vegan simple recipes I like to eat. Red lentils with paprica and tomato. It has healthy fats, vegetarian protein and carbs for energy. Add 100g of red lentils into boiling water for 8 minutes. In the mean time slice a fresh tomato into pieces and a paprika into sticks. Than add those to cooked red lentils, add olive oil and 1/2 of squezed lemon juice and a little salt. Done in 10 minutes. Another one I like to eat every day is oats with fruits. 120g of oats soaked in water for at least 20 minutes. Prepare the blender. Add a banana, 1 big Apple, (experiment with different combinations of fruits) soaked oats and crushed almonds into the blender, mix and it's done.

Awarness of the ego is correlated with the eyes looking at one direction and staying absorbed in that tunnel of vision most of the time. Awarness of awarness is correlated with more peripheral vision. You notice more. When you have only the awarness of ego (or when you get stuck in this lower awarness) you tend to forget about that peripheral vision. So when your aware of awarness you are the whole Picture. Does this make sense? -

I also hear this high pitch sound from time to time. Somewhere I have read, from somebody who has studied spiritual schools for 30 years what this sound is. He said it is the sound of OM. I Also had those third eye pulsing sensations, they were extremely intense for several months. After a while those sensations stopped. The most intense period is the beggining, but don't get scared of this, it gets better. The old energy has to leave, so the new energy can enter. -

I also have shungite and sometimes purify water with it (after 24 hours it feels completely different to drink it), amethyst, fluorite, blue kyanite and moldavite. Moldavite is a little known crystal, it has the highest vibration of all, and it's not suitable for newbies. It's also expensive compared to other crystals, but it's worth it. It stabilizes ALL the chacras. It's a good idea to use a grounding crystal after using it. I can feel the vibration of it every time I touch it and it helped me a lot, to stabilize my energy after getting hyper sensitive. I have bought mine directly from Czech Republic, from a innervisioncrystals.com Pictures of my moldavite. -
