  1. Expressing over suppressing seems like the fastest way to process things?
  2. An example: you have sat down for meditation and an itch appears 5 mins into the meditation session, there's a strong urge to move the finger over it with some pressure, this is the first window into the path of spiritual bypassing, if you give into it too soon then no progress is made, the best way is to extend the urge for as long as possible every instance it pops up and you will know it's being dealt with when it becomes okay with itch, when it's moved to the background and in some more time it's not there in the awareness at all and hopefully in existence too lol
  3. Avoiding/ suppressing/ things which cause aversions to the body and mind, Also distracting oneself from the things which cause aversions to the body and mind is what is spiritual bypassing in pursuit of feeling good all the time.
  4. Being aware definitely helps handling the regular jobs at a better efficiency though. By being aware of the mental dialogues one can try being more present in the moment while at work rather than being accompanied by an unrelated thought as well, which would only hinder the energy given to the task at hand. So maybe it is a privilege that anyone and everyone can afford ?
  5. Doesn't matter what the answer is, one cannot know for sure what the truth is to this question. What we can have is more liking to one perspective over another. So it all boils down to what your bias is. With my experience too, time only move forwards but outside our experience who really knows what can happen I have a bias towards evolution, if evolution is the prime basis of life then it wouldn't make sense to live the same life for too many instances unless the learning curve is too flat lol
  6. Before enlightenment chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment chop wood, carry water. I said what I said ?
  7. But with the context of life being suffering, maybe his moksha or awakening means only to cultivate enough awareness to be blissful in the present moment, that's the ultimate goal with any spiritual teaching.
  8. My bet would be, No, his samadhi trips apparently are quite deep themselves, he's broken down his entire body to the atomic level, sober. Thats some DMT level trip, or deeper. Unsure.
  9. The mystery of life isn't a problem to solve but a reality to experience. -from the movie, Dune.
  10. Maybe because it takes time for things to work out for the best.
  11. So true! There's some sort of festive ambience and a sense of some elevated mood all around! Holidays are such a vibe, everyone's a little chill for a bit
  12. @Shin beautiful, especially the last one ?
