@Username modafinil and armod is effective, but coffee suffices for me honestly. Modafinil doesn't seem sustainable to me.

@Username from my research, it's best to cycle it as it has a long half life. So if you're taking it long term I'd suggest spreading it out to 3x a week.

In meditation, focus on observing emotions, and their source, feel into it. Notice (in meditation), that how you feel is inseparable from the present moment, and how you feel IS the present moment. The Love is silent and always here, and in this Love it has 0 resistance to being resistant ?, so it's all about relaxing back into this Love, not about getting somewhere.

It is impossible to receive love from someone else. As you are the source of love itself, see this in direct experience, no conceptualizing what it means, just feel it. And this trying to do the impossible feels off, like trying to connect two magnets with the same poles.

Wherever you're at rn, just relax. Let it all just flow, let the senses mix and intensify, let the senses disappear. Give in to the not knowing, give in to the confusion, there's no need to know what is going on, no need to know what's what. Let thoughts flow, they don't care about anything, they just wanna flow, no need to figure anything out, no need to create blockages of seriousness, let it flow. If you're trying to figure something out just move on, let it all just flow. Everything is okay, the inner craziness is the peace. No need for expectations, any expectation is not what you are right now. Like the planets revolving around the sun, like the energy in the atoms, all things are flowing, let it flow. Note: There's no you, so you're doing a great job always! ?

@BenG In my opinion, no. But that's only my answer, see for yourself ??. I myself was quite stubborn in being serious hehe, but eventually I gave up and just said fuck it I only care about being happy and feeling good. Also surrendered to receiving help from all these powerful humans around me, instead of being all high and mighty.

@BenG The ego is obsessed with complexity, the good stuff is actually in the simple-ness of life. Notice how people get triggered when simplicity is offered as the way. Notice the "masochistic" nature in human beings, how everything must be all serious, hard, and complicated. In a planet with billions of people who believe in masochism, this is the kind of world we are creating, notice that, we all agree that we gotta be serious, and that everything takes effort, therefore everyone says so. But there's a small amount of beings who realize the power of Real-izing Goodness, Love, and being happy for no reason at all. It only seems crazy because it isn't cool yet ?.

@BenG Meditate ?‍♂️. "The avoidance of truth is fundamental to existence." "It's possible to relax into truth." These are just concepts, trust in your direct experience. The essence of spirituality is letting go of concepts, existential concepts especially.

@Thought Art yep it's a natural nootropic, research it to make sure but I don't think it has any tolerance, it's one of those cumulative things where you can take it every day.

Suffering begins when thought falls into a glitch, where it creates a thinker and a thought, and creates space between them. This is why you say "I have thoughts" it's really thought mistakenly creating space from itself. This is known as self referential thinking, when thought attempts to somehow create a self and thoughts that this self has, it's impossible. And thus, like the resistance when forcing two magnets with the same poles to connect, this is a similar feeling with the attempt to create a self and observe that self, and there's suffering. To put it simply: you cannot actually create a self or self image, it doesn't work, and therefore you feel a "blockage", like somethings just off.

@BenG yes exactly! The thoughts about wanting feel good. You want to want, the apparent "result" is the cherry on top.

@BenG I get it, meditation is what will help. Believing in the destination is like being the guy who ends the party early, the party pooper. Maybe you can notice in direct experience that you really don't feel good when you focus on thoughts about finally getting "it" or about getting straight to the prize with no adventure.

@Gregory1 Please...stop. I think it's time for a dose of reality. No offense, but this is a phase on the path, that's all it is. It's what happens when arrogance combines with spiritual language. Two choices and I'm being serious here: 1. You humble yourself and stick to your practice becoming more human and less a monstrous amalgamation of spiritual concepts. 2. You become miserable, and in your misery you blame it on being in some "finite state". I'm only hitting hard here because I once was the same, it's cringe honestly, but cringe makes room for having a good laugh at ourselves ?.

@Gabith body awareness, feeling into where the source of emotions is. Feeling into the heart center, this is most powerful. Noticing that emotions are inseparable from reality, therefore they play a part in the jigsaw puzzle that is the present moment.

@BenG to add to what @Consilience said: here's a shocker, you know how people say it's about the journey not the destination? Well you're fucked because there is no destination ?. The journey is bliss. All the cells in your body working 24/7 to something greater, the mind dreaming of greater and greater things to accomplish.
