  1. What REALLY Happened to the Hippies in the 60's?
  2. This is why SDi is so helpful. The reason this is happening, is because the two sides are living in different realities.
  3. PERFECT for describing the flaws of science.
  4. WTF LOL! I laughed too hard at this. The way he pronounces Christ is too funny. If this song is not played at my funeral, I'm not dying.
  5. @Adodd I’ve only read the OP
  6. I’m not necessarily interested in guns, but I have decided to buy a hand gun for home defense, and one for conceal carry. As well as buy an assault rifle for any future major political crisis (i.e. MAGA infiltrate the Capital again with intent of creating a one party state).
  7. What's so bizarre about American politics, is that it's unique in not having a Left Wing (major) political party. In every other country, there is a moderate right-wing Conservative/Liberal Party, and then there is a rival major Social Democratic moderate Left-Wing party. With the exception of one-party states, America serves as this bizarre exception.
  8. Why would you sleep with such a devil?
  9. The portraying of Liberals as effeminate is a classic time old demonization.
  10. There’s actually a book called “blitzed” which accounts for all the drug use in the Nazi elite, Hitler himself was a highly medicated figure. The way the Nazis would actually manage Germany was not very well either.
  11. I immediately checked 4chan's /pol/ after I saw he posted that, and can confirm that they are celebrating.
  12. Full documentary: You think enlighenment is hard? One guy did it while spending 20 years in a Chinese prison.
  13. It is possible to have high quality public healthcare for everyone, why is universal healthcare always framed as: sure everyone gets healthcare, but it's going to be mediocre.
  14. Here is what Joe Rogan posted: This meme doesn't make sense from a historical context. First and foremost, human history has been a long journey from autocracy and ignorance, to Democracy, wealth, a well educated and culturally advanced populace. This is what Marx calls, ''the march of history''. The state of our society today is incredibly progressive by historical standards; women voting, Democracy, no slavery, various social services, universal K-12 education, etc... Advocating for our current status quo 200 years ago would be considered Progressive, but now it is considered Conservative. Advocating what is today considered far left extremism (Socialism/Communism, non-binary gender identity, transgenderism, abortion rights, ecology, critical race theory, erasing National borders, one common universal language, etc...) 200 years from now is going to be the new centrist Moderate, or even Conservative position. Also, the top right blue quadrant created ''hard times'' when it started WW1, which led directly to the Bolshevik Revolution. So given the context of WW1 era Russia, that chart doesn't make any sense.
  15. I'm not a Christian, but the Christians have a good insight in this when they say that ''comfort is the enemy of the Lord, it is the enemy of God''. When they say that , they don't mean it literally of course as God has not enemies, but they mean that as long as your bathe in comfort then you will never be in contact with God, as communion with God requires the renouncing of hedonistic earthly pleasures and comforts (unless you're a tantric). This philosophy is reflected in the Buddhist ''middle way''.
  16. When Ba’athist Iraq had 80% public GDP, they were the most prosperous of all the Arab Nations. State/Public ownership of industry is a large part of why Northern European countries are so successful. It’s no longer a question of should or should not the Capitalist system should end, but rather when will it.

  19. A one party state may actually be beneficial in the sense that it outlaws reactionary anti worker Capitalist/Conservative parties from having a say in the Government, ensuring that the only party that can make decisions for the public is the Working class Party.
  20. Yes there is something better, support actual parties and movements (maybe even revolutionary ones) which promise to abolish the Capitalist wage system.
  21. Socialism within a multi-party system is the definition of Democratic Socialism. The 'Democratic' in Democratic Socialism refers to multi party liberal Democracy. Social Democracy suffers from the issue of not fixing the contradictions and worldwide exploitations of capitalism, but masking it with half assed solutions.
