What does it mean "to take advice?" If you intend on meeting this person, just show up and hang out. You don't have to believe or disbelieve anything. -

@SgtPepper thanks! It was fun to write.

@Matthew85 thank you for your kind words. There is a real sense that this experience is profoundly important. Unmatched. To be able to share this with my family is the deepest blessing I could have imagined (haha)

I would say psilocybe cubensis are the most popular/most common. -

Tryptamines, mushrooms especially, do have a sedative quality. You can let the experience be what it is, no seeking or questioning required, and continue to explore. -

I have "fallen asleep" on high level mushrooms (6g+). You did have an ego death, and such a strong one that "you" went completely offline. Say thanks to the mushroom and eat some again in a couple weeks. -

The different possibilities you touch on are not mutually exclusive. That's the fun of it. -

Just reading this post gave me a pretty strong 5-MeO-DMT reactivation. Welcome back. I love you. -

@Adodd I would simply let the experience be, without attachment or aversion. I did not have any specific intention, other than to be open to the experience, on it's own terms, exactly as it is. This is my approach to psychedelics in general. It appears that people misunderstand and misuse intention to such a degree that it becomes a hindrance. Too often intentions imply and indeed create a separate "other" which is distinct from the happening. For me, no intention is the ultimate intention. Surrender. -

San Pedro has mescaline as it's primary psychoactive component. -

I have to point out that changa is not "basically" 5-MeO-DMT as OP claims. It is a a mixture of smoking herbs, an MAOI, and freebase n,n-DMT. -

LSD is one way to explore personal growth. Like all "true" psychedelics, the core characteristic of LSD is boundary dissolution. One possible manifestation of this is the dissolution of boundaries you imagine to exist between the present state of consciousness and one which you characterize as "connected with your heart" "spiritually deeper" or a "better person" "healed" etc. LSD lasts much longer than mushrooms, is more stimulating, and tends to have a more pronounced come up -> peak -> comedown compared to mushrooms, whose intensity can ebb and flow over the course of the trip. LSD was the first psychedelic I encountered, and the only one I used (aside from cannabis) for many years before trying mushrooms, DMT, etc. One can have truly magical, life altering experiences with LSD, even at relatively low doses. The beauty of psychedelics is that that speak for themselves. Ehipassiko. -

The Eclipse is a good analog option. If you want electronic, consider the APX Volt or an e-mesh, which requires a bit of shopping around and setup. -

Pharmachanga (vaporhuasca) is another good option. -
I read through the 5-MeO-MALT megathread to find very little discussion of people's actual experiences with the substance. Who all has used 5-MeO-MALT? Freebase or HCl? What dose and what ROA? How was your experience? There is 500mg HCl on it's way to me now. Would be nice to receive it by the end of the year, but no expectations. I intend to try boofing, of course, but am also curious about intramuscular use. I couldn't find many reports on this ROA, though this paper paints it in a good light. Looking forward to hear people's experiences, and to sharing my own.

I personally don't, but many people across several psychedelic communities I'm part of do casually and regularly smoke n,n-DMT, most often low dose but punctuated with high dose. At low dose it is a mild sedative and can impart a deep sense of peace, love, stillness, and clarity. -

Why would there be a reason for that? For anything? You can let go of reasons. -

God = Love = Trust = Freedom. God doesn't give a fuck about control, there is nothing, no other, to control. God loves and trusts every facet of it's own self expression 100% and has no need for control. Notice that much of what we call "evil" is predicated on control and uses control as a primary means of expression and interaction.
