  1. So the word I is perhaps the most important word in the English vocabulary. So I'm curious to hear your definition of I. What does it mean to you?
  2. Yes I like that. The word the organisms/creatures use to talk about their their life.
  3. Cool definition! And what does I refer to in your view?
  4. Yeah I see his teaching as fundamentally flawed and anti-life. He insists there is no one there but my understanding tells me I am the one that is there. He says there is nobody and yet there is a body there. Pure contradiction. The whole aim of every person is to improve their life and unfortunately his teaching does not do that for me. He also doesn't take responsibility for his teaching that he is making. Also he says this is apparently happening. I'm not a fan of that word it abstracts reality away to much. I would choose to say this is actually happening or literally happening or simply happening as opposed to apparently happening. I could be completely wrong but thought I would give my viewpoint.
  5. Simple in my view haha. There's plenty of time to do all of it. One moment I'm typing this post the next I'm judging somebody at my own peril and the next moment I'm making dinner.
  6. So I thought I would give my perspective on the self vs no self debate. Firstly the word self is used to refer to that which is experiencing. Or that which is seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, thinking. So, when you say "myself" you are essentially referring to the fact that you are experiencing. If you want to talk about yourself (or that which is experiencing) then you need the various subject pronouns (I, me, my, myself). Try to talk about your experience without using those words. To me this suggests that those words refer to a real subject or expereincer. Now I would like to add that there is no fixed self. You are not a fixed being. You are a changing being. Thus, there is no fixed self/creator in the universe. There is only a changing self. So, you are one changing self. I am one changing self. Potentially you and I are the same changing self. There is no unchanging self. There is only a changing self that is potentially everybody and is undying. And at the end of the day these are just ways of thinking about myself.
  7. You have the belief that everybody is dandy. I have the belief that everybody is not dandy.
  8. You made the belief no one is broken
  9. I will and I am grateful for your suggestion. Still I know in the end if I am going to talk about any of this then I will have to use a word and that word will be experience since that's what the rest of humanity uses and that word refers to that which is beyond the word and can never be fully encapsulated by the word. It doesn't mean the word doesn't refer to something real. Just like the word computer refers to a real thing.
  10. No doubt I am simply calling this an experience for lack of a better word. Just like I call this a computer. What a thing is called and what it actually is incomparable. However if you are trying to convince me that seeing (a sense) which refers to the state produced when one's eyes are opened is not real then I will have to disagree. For there is an undeniable difference between eyes open and eyes closed. There is a distinction. It's two different states. Two different experiences.
  11. Someone who is creating hell on earth is broken.
  12. I will contemplate this but I'll just write a quick post first to lead my investigation. Your question is whether there is experience. I'll give my definition of experience: Well experience is an all encompassing word. Essentially everything can be boiled down to experience. One experience might be the sensation that occurs when you pinch your hand. So when you pinch your hand (the harder the more clear it is) then see if you notice anything. When the pinch (experience) is too painful you stop which suggests the word experience refers to something real.
  13. You claim that its your feet on the ground and also that there is no owner. Then you say you have hands but also that there isn't a me that has hands. Looks like a bunch of contradictions to me. When will you take ownership of what you have created?
  14. Okay first let's agree on a definition of nothing in this context. I'll propose my definitions and if you disagree then give me yours. Nothing: The absence of something. Something: A particular thing. Thing: I feel like it is best to use examples here. A computer is a thing. A cup is a thing. A word is a thing. Essentially a thing could be regarded as a discrete object or aspect of experience. Now let me talk about speech. Speech consists of meaningful sounds also known as words. Words are are things based on my definition. Each word is one-thing as opposed to no-thing. So speech consists of a bunch of things making it something. Thus in my opinion to equate speech with the word nothing seems like absurdity to me.
  15. No thing means 0 thing. 1 != 0 0 + 0 != 1 + 1 So 1 thing is not 0 thing.
  16. You being reality. You work for you and you alone.
  17. essentially if everybody is one then this forum is simply the communication between past and future versions of myself.
  18. My view is the One is not nothing. It is one thing. There isn't nothing.
  19. now you can make a bunch of stuff up but if you look at the situation clearly you will see that there is nothing more to you currently than your body which is producing your experience. You can't escape your body unless you commit suicide. You can only change it and even if you don't change it, then it will naturally change by itself until body death is reached. beyond that nobody really knows what happens. So seeing that you will be your body until you die and if you are fairly young then you have along way to go its best to take good care of it. or you can call it imagination. I wonder if that will result in a good life
  20. In the beginning... I was blind. I was deaf. I couldn't feel. I couldn't think. I had absolute ignorance. I had no experience. And yet I was. Then I initiated creation. Experiencing began. And my infinite ignorance was slowly chipped away at. And now all that remains is infinite potential.
  21. You say the end is now and also there is no end. That sounds like a contradiction.
  22. if the end is now then why is it still going? As far as I can tell there is no end.
