The changer is perceiving the changes. The changing one is aware of the changing one.

How can something unchanging be changing? Either its changing or its not changing. Can't be both. It can't be hot and freezing simultaneously.

I don't want concepts actually because I know I'm not a concept. Would you agree that you use to be your 10 year old body?

Consciousness refers to myself but I have no idea what I truly am. Certainly not a word. Yes its a picture but it shows you what you once were. You were once that body wouldn't you agree? I conclude there is a body because I look at my body and see what I call a body. I conclude the body has an experience because I am seeing the body with the body which is an experience.

I am identifying as my body. The desk is not a part of my body. Presumably I created my body but also unknown. A finger is a part of the body. There are many parts to the creation. No idea what the substance is but it certainly is not a word such as consciousness or nothing.

Consciousness is just a name you have given yourself. As for there is not anybody in the universe having an experience. I am this body having an experience. All those bodies you see in your world are bodies having experiences. Look at a picture of your 10 year old self. That is a body having an experience not some conceptual consciousness idea.

I understand the notion of the desk being a part of my creation and hence a part of me. But still there is a distinction between desk and body. Desks don't have experiences. Bodies do.

What makes you think that?

So you're also in the fruit is self aware camp? Do you think the desk is having an experience? I'm being serious this position makes no sense to me.

@Nos7algiK So you really think a computer is self aware? Or a piece of fruit is self aware? What evidence do you have of that?

I don't think you're understanding my point. There are two posts (this one and yours). There is one poster. The question is in which order are the posts posted. Either you post this one first or you post that one first. Either I become you or you become me. I say become because you and I are an evolutionary process. Either you have already been this body or I have already bee your body. Your experience is for me to experience. Now somehow the past and future are communicating with each other. Perceiving something does not imply that it is experiencing. That is just a belief you hold. There are distinctions within reality. A banana is not a human. The computer is a part of my experience but is not experiencing. It is not sentient. It doesn't have eyes, ears, mouth, legs, etc. If there's no experience then there's no experience. That means there's no experience which means there isn't an experience.

So for the first point there needs to be a proof that I am making this as opposed to being forced to make this. So I agree if you and I are one then I am simply talking to myself. Still you must be my past or future self. Either you become me and write what I write or I become you and write what you write. Computers are not experiencing. That's like saying a banana or piece of paper is experiencing. It's a creation that humans made. It has no inner world like humans do. 0% means no experience. Not sure why you are saying the absence of experience is an experience. You have your perceptions. I have mine. How are these two different bodies interacting simultaneously if they are one.

My response is created. It seems the response comes from the body in which case nothing besides the body created the response. If something created me to respond in this way then that implies a creator separate from the body which is forcing me to create this. I agree that I will only every create this exact response in this specific scenario. So you could say I am like a computer that processes comments like yours and spits out responses. Of course the fundamental difference between me and a computer is that I am experiencing and computers aren't experiencing. You are either 100% experiencing or 0% experiencing. I sit on one end of a computer wondering if there is someone on the other end seeing, reading and making responses for me. Even if its ultimately just me on the other end as opposed to an other than that is extremely profound because it implies communication between my past and my future.

You make a good point. Some people's lives are so bad that it makes me think they aren't real.

Absolutely everything in this world is done because of desire. Especially reading this post right now. That is your desire. Anybody that claims they have no desires is unconscious to a certain degree in my opinion. If a person truly had no desires they wouldn't do anything. They wouldn't move their body AT ALL. They wouldn't eat. They certainly wouldn't open their mouth to tell people they don't have desires. Even if they managed to not move that would also be their desire. Because not desiring anything is also one's desire. One's desire to do nothing essentially. Non action is a form of action. No desire is a form of desire.

So you don't think you will take human birth again? Sorry not sure I understand your post.

Or the result of someone trying to enhance life. Creation would never be improved without desire.

Would like to hear some opinions on this: Cause - A word to refer to something responsible for an effect. Effect - A noticeable happening Every effect has a cause Every cause produces an effect Now I think it is reasonable to claim that every effect has a cause. Ex. The cause of this post is the body that wrote this post. If there is a cause for everything in this universe then the question can be asked what causes all causes? Or where do causes come from? What is your take on this? Must there be an ultimate cause for all causes? If so, we could refer to that as the uncaused causer since it is the origin of all causes and effects. Could such a thing exist or is it illogical. Is the uncaused causer the single subject/God of this universe?
