If only I am conscious then no one else is experiencing besides me. True. Still I encounter my past and future self every day. It seems my past and future self are just as alive and conscious as I am. And the future influences the past and the past influences the future. If you are going to claim you are the only conscious being then you have to also accept that I am the only conscious being and am just as conscious as you.

This statement is very confusing to me and makes me think I must be misinterpreting what you are trying to convey. I start thinking the whole world is tricking me or all the people I see are fake people. Can you please define what you mean by dream. In addition given you definition of dream how does our reality equate to a dream? When I think of a dream I think of the experiences that occur when I am asleep and have no contact with the world. I suppose these dreams I have are entirely fabricated by my mind and have no basis in reality. Then I awaken to the same changing world I have awoken to for the last 20 years with the same changing people and I suppose that I am perceiving a real world with real people and that my body is just one part of an immense universe. I suppose that just as the other people are part of my experience my body is also part of their experience. Now I also acknowledge that I don't have proof that they are real but I also don't have proof that they aren't.

but how is it a dream if the other people are real? If you think I'm a dream you are delusional. I can't prove it to you but it is so.

Lovely but also the word "I" can be used differently then you describe. The "single sphere" as you call it can use the word I as a way to refer to itself in speech, writing, and thought. The sphere is not the word, thought, or sound "I" but rather I is simply a word that it/I uses. The word "I" does not have to refer to an individual existence with others. It can be redefined. Of course only this single being used the word I. I can define the word to simply refer to my alone existence. Hence it is accurate (speaking as the sole being) to say I am alone. All bodies are a part of me but not all of me. At least that's my view.

Immortality comes with one price. One is forced to exist forever. An unescapable fate for a deathless being. Not even eternity can alter this fact. One may think they will die but does it ever come? Death is not an event. It is the end of all events. It is the end of knowing and experiencing. For if I die I won't even know that I lived.

For all the people who claim there is no I or that the word I refers to a nonexistent being, I would like to know how you know that you don't exist. Since you do not exist how are you able to claim that you don't exist? And even more egregious how are you able to talk about someone else's existence and tell someone else over forums chats that they don't exist when you don't even exist and thus have no ability to know about existence? "I don't exist" is false knowledge. No one can know that they don't exist because they wouldn't exist to know it.

Do you think you exist or you don't exist? If you think you exist then there should be no disagreement with my post. Otherwise what's the issue?
