@The0Self This isn't such a radical idea for this forum. -

Bro, no homo ? -

@WelcometoReality I only see it when I look myself in the mirror but it's nowhere to be found in my direct experience. @Shin Pain can be imagined as well as all the other body sensations but that doesn't prove its existence. -

@Rilles You should read The Headless Way by Douglas Harding, it will completely change your view on this subject. @Terell Kirby Interesting explanation. So I'm basically creating them commenting about my head to keep myself deluded that I have it. -
I know that God is everything but in order to experience itself it chose the human form. It could have been any living being but for some reason it decided to be Homo Sapiens. Why is that? Is there anything special about being a human?

Yes, I know that but only one of those avatars has a first person view all the time. -
Tyler Durden replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, I'm aware of that, I was just wondering was there any specific reason it chose human as its avatar and not some other living being. -
Tyler Durden replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Terell Kirby So I'm both a game developer and the player but I identify with my avatar. -
Tyler Durden replied to Inder's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inder Interesting experience. Can you just explain a little bit more about death? So the identification with body stops but what happens with your conciousness? Does it float around in the room like an OBE or the whole room disappears and you just remain as pure conciousness inside complete darkness? -

I've never met any enlightened animal or plant. -
Tyler Durden replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I understand that but only human forms talk about it and can achieve God realisation. All other forms just live their lives trying to survive and reproduce. -

People outside of this forum think that I'm crazy when I talk about this stuff. -
In Abrahamic religions, the Messianic Age is the future period of time on Earth in which the messiah will reign and bring universal peace and brotherhood, without any evil. Many believe that there will be such an age; some refer to it as the consummate "kingdom of God" or the "world to come". What does the Messianic Age symbolises? Is that something that God wants to achieve in this dream?

There is a thin line between being considered enlightened or crazy. -
I'm pretty sure that this thread will get some replies but I don't know by whom and what will they contain. Why is that unknown? Would knowing that in advance spoil the fun of discussion?

Tyler Durden replied to amanen's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@amanen Interesting perspective. Am I in control of all the other people as well? Making them say and do stuff without being directly aware that it's actually me pulling the strings? -
Tyler Durden replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That seems like a correct explanation but it's hard to abandon the notion of the future because you're always expecting something that will happen which is currently not in the present moment. -

More needs to be done. People are not satisfied ? -

@peanutspathtotruth Interesting explanation. I guees the Infinity always has some mystery to it. Something our finite mind can't understand completely. @BenG Seems like a reasonable explanation. I guess the "future" is always out of reach because it doesn't exist until is in the now. -
Tyler Durden replied to Vibroverse's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God probaby gave you those neighbours for a reason. Your ego self wants someone else but maybe you're not seeing a bigger picture. -
Tyler Durden replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@cetus That makes sense. Ignorance is bliss sometimes. @BenG What do you mean exactly? -
Tyler Durden replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tim R But what if I made a prediction that you will be the first person to comment on this thread, would that be a correct guess of something that hasn't happend yet at that moment? @peanutspathtotruth Shouldn't the Truth have infinite knowledge, including the direction in which the things will go next? -
Tyler Durden replied to Raptorsin7's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
We probably misunderstood each other. What was your point? -
Tyler Durden replied to Raptorsin7's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Great observation. Tyler was not against violence if it served the purpose of bringing down the modern consumer society. -

I don't understand such a strong emotional response to this case on this forum. Wasn't that whole situation just God shooting itself? It was God's will that things happend that way. There is no place for moral outrage.
