I was looking at a night sky and remembered how I used to think that we see stars as they were millions of years ago because it takes so long for their light to travel to Earth. But after realising that time and space are an illusion and that past and distance don't exist, I'm wondering what do we exactly see when we look up?

@Inliytened1 Still have to fully realise that. So everything that is happening in my life is something that I truly want but from ego perspective doesn't seem that way.

@Inliytened1 Interesting observation. But I still have a feeling that I don't have a control of what is going to be imagined. As if I purposely hid that from myself in order to have a human experience.

If you've been following news lately, there is a big military build up in Eastern Europe. Tensions between Ukraine and Russia are very high and invasion is being expected any time soon. If NATO gets involved, there is a big risk that WW3 will start. Is that something that God wants to experience?

Things are the way they are because God wanted it to be that way. It had a desire to experience itself. That's why it created this dream/reality. Otherwise it would just stay formless forever.

God is everything. It has no form but it can take any form it wants. I'm aware that it imagines this entire situation but from ego perspective, I just don't know how is it going to unfold.

@BipolarGrowth Thank you for your honesty. I just want to get a better understanding of events that are happening in this dream of life. I try to get a clearer sense of what's really going on. My country is in NATO so if things escalate, I'll definitely feel it in my everyday life. I was just wondering if that's something that God wants to experience because I want to know how to deal with it from a spiritual perspective.

@Tim R I'm not saying it's something bad or evil, just something that is happening and being directed by God.

God does exactly that on this forum through different avatars who seem to be miles apart from each other but in reality only talking to itself here and now.

@Vincent S Excellent explanation. Other dream characters are behaving as if they have mind of their own because it's necessary for illusion to work. If you were aware the entire time that they are you, it would lose its appeal and become quite boring real soon.

Maybe it's because others don't have their inner experiences. They don't see, hear, smell or think anything. They just behave as they do but in reality they are empty on the inside. You as God control their behaviour but you are not aware of that to keep the illusion as real as possible.

If someone kills me, that person who killed me would also cease to exist because I'm creating that person. Basically, I would be creating my own murderer. Does that make my chances of getting murdered almost impossible?

@michaelcycle00 I know that my ego is not the sole thing in existence - God is the only thing that exists and that can feel like solipsism but it's not exactly the same thing. But if I die, everything will also disappear because this universe is my dream.

I'm currently traveling with a bus to another town. It's a few hundred kilometers ride. I've been thinking, is the bus moving at all or the reality just moves around it giving the illusion of traveling?

When you become lucid in a dream, you can still enjoy it and go along with its story while you're fully aware that it's not real. You can do the same here. All of this is your creation in the end, why not make the most out of it. There is nothing else to do for eternity anyway.

@Godishere Is it possible to be conscious of that and keep on living knowing that fact?

I have no control over that. It seems they are acting in accordance with my subconciousness.

I guess it's God's Will. I heard stories about OBE where body wasn't necessary at all but in the end persons return to their regular state. It's something you as God imagine.

Without the body you wouldn't be able to experience the reality. God needs this human form for that purpose.

When you dream at night, all the characters are created at that exact moment. Same thing in this waking life.
