  1. Currently, I am in college, and I have met lots of people and went to lots of social events. I am relatively comfortable talking to others, but I'm not too happy with my social life. I feel like I am not running into the people that I can really enjoy deep down, possibly because they do not suit my personality. In the past, through talking to people, I learned a lot about myself. I have no problem socializing with diverse people and have met lots of people, but I would like to find closer friendships and potentially my "main clique." Thus, how can I find my group of people? Some of my personality characteristics include: mature people, fun people, and academically-oriented. These are general characteristics, but situations vary. I am not saying that I am closed off to talking to people now, but I just want to find deeper friendships. In addition, I have joined lots of clubs, but I feel that very few people click and that I cannot make friends in clubs for some reason. I feel like there are other places that I should be rather than clubs. I thought about taking the initiative to approach people in career fairs, recruiting events, even in the library. Also, I realize in college that many friends are based off of cliques, and some cliques do not fit me. Thus, I am trying to find a clique that suits me. What do you think?
  2. Thank you for the advice @Algi! Any more advice?
