  1. @StarStruck What do you think are the main drivers of Andrew Tate? ill answer my own question lol but feel free to answer. Imo i think he is driven by fame, power and wealth. I say this because he always talks about that being all mens true ambition to conquer lands, he wants to be a king basically. Although he wants to say he cares about young men and is trying to help them, actually his fortune is being made from them, through HU and also his 5k per head bootcamps. To me someone who genuinely cared for young men wouldn't take money from them in this way esp if you're already rich and also if you know that your target market is actually struggling. People have differing opinions about Jordan Peterson but I couldn't see him take money from his followers in the same way. I'm not saying Tate has g9ne out purposely to screw over young men I just think the other stuff is so much more important to him that he doesn't care who gets hurt in the process, which was of course with the cam girls and the lonely men he manipulated into giving as much money as possible.
  2. @Danioover9000 Its difficult because from the rich persons perspective theyre wrong either way, so if they dont do any charity work theyre a rich miser that just hoards their money and doesnt care about poor people, if they do charity work they probably have some ulterior motive like good pr or even world control. So in this sense there is no win in open to them in terms of public perception, essentially people just think its wrong for you to have so much money period, because in this system if you have this amount money you can make decisions that affect millions of people. So i think when people criticise acts like this Mr Beast one, theyre really criticising a system that allows someone to have so much money and then the power that comes with that, not necessarily the rich person who in fact maybe the most caring person in the world and wants to use their money for good. This also shows up in other billionaires, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerburg both have pledged their entire fortunes to charity when they die and have also setup charities whilst alive to help various causes. However conspiracy theories have been rampant about them and i think this is mainly due to the reasons i pointed out previously. This presents a massive problem because there are people around the world in genuine need, literally people that cant see. We have a system that can not reach all these people for whatever reason but that also will allow you to become a billionaire if you can provide the requisite value to people, however those billionaires will be seen as bad if they do try and reach the people in need even though the government wont. It is a tough situation, ultimately you could argue that the structure of society should be that as long as people are in need there shouldnt be anyone with the amount excess wealth we're seeing, which would be some sort of communism or socialism. If you wouldnt want to go down that road then i dont think there can be complaints about rich people helping poor people, even if they benefit in social capital
  3. The same thing happened with R.Kelly, there were 2 girls who said they were with him willingly but they had no contact with their families and couldnt go out by themselves, but they still claimed it was all their own decision. Obviously R.Kelly is now in prison for grooming, kidnap etc etc. I think it would make sense for an outside psychologist to determine whether the girls are able to make that decision but of course that psychologist could be just saying what the court wants, so its a bit of a tricky situation to get to the truth.
  4. Do you do other work with your therapist ie does he do IFS or cbt or some other therapy with you?
  5. It's true rsd Derek is very shady, there were some records pulled a out him claiming to own and live in some mansion but really he stayed there for a night and the owner keeps getting letters for him ? there's a video I'll try and pull it up. But in general I don't think rsd are that bad, they give out a lot of free content and the courses are not even priced that bad it's just when you do the boot camps and stuff it starts to get silly. Tate basically has the same model, gives out free advice and then has his hustlers U which actually if you compare it to the rsd courses will work out more because rsd just do a one off payment, you could argue Tate is a bit 'smarter' in how he milks his followers. Also he has extremely high priced in person events where he charges 5k a per person and then of course the war room, which I'm not sure how much it costs but obviously more than $50. He does have it setup to take as much money as possible from his followers. I think there are more 'healthy' online male improvement personalities like Hamza and 1st man for example, I also really like Dr Tian, obviously no ones perfect but you get the sense that they're ot just milking their audience. With Tate I think he does give a sense of power to powerless men which can be important but I think baggage that comes with it will probably do more harm than good. The view of women is completely skewed, which makes sense considering his webcam business, to be able to do that how he did it there has to be a poor perception of women, so of course this would bleed over into his advice to young men.
  6. I asked Chatgpt - in the style of malcolm X can you tell a story about someone cutting you off in traffic "My friends, I was driving down the highway when a reckless driver cut me off. I felt a surge of anger rise within me, for I know the struggle of being disregarded and disrespected. But then I remembered the teachings of my faith, and I took a deep breath and let the anger pass. For too long, the black man has been treated as an inferior being, a second-class citizen. And now, on the roads, we're faced with similar challenges. But I refuse to let the actions of a single driver define me or diminish my sense of self-worth. I will not stoop to the level of aggression and violence that too often plagues our society. Instead, I choose to lead by example, to demonstrate the power of love and understanding in the face of hatred and ignorance. We must rise above the prejudices and indignities of this world, my friends, and show that we are a people of dignity, strength, and grace. That is the only way we will truly gain the respect that we deserve." pretty good
  7. Their customer service line would be hilarious to listen in on "Im so angry ive used your cream for a year and my dick is still 2 inches" "Sorry to hear that sir, Ill send you 2 more bottles for free as a goodwill gesture"
  8. The thing is situations like this will always come up with wingmen, what makes them a good wingman is if they can handle these emotionally. So because he doesn't seem to be able to I don't think he would be good wingman material. It can obviously be tough to be rejected but it's also unavoidable in this game
  9. Didnt he say he specifically moved to Romania because of how lax their laws are and also that he could do whatever he wanted be bribing and knowing the right people?
  10. Probably not go back to the mall
  11. I think if you were a narcissist you either wouldnt take the test or take it and answer with the non-narcissist answers or if you did score high maybe blame the test.
  12. I don't buy that other teachers just give you lovey dovey platitudes, this might be the case in the new age community but I think teachers who are considered higher level such as Mooji or Rupert Spira definitely don't do this. Sometimes there's almost like an exasperation of 'why don't you get this' but I think what shines through with them is their compassion which you really feel. I'm not saying Leo isn't compassionate, but it doesn't really come through in his teachings. Also there is a certain arrogance I feel Leo has in comparison to these other teachers, as he's said this could be just for effect but either way, the other teachers have a certain lightness to their energy whereas Leo's is a bit heavier. I guess you could put this down to either personality or just that maybe they are just further developed, which would also make sense in terms of the age difference. But I appreciate what Leo does and I think its interesting to have the kind in depth, analytical takes that he does, I just don't think the all knowing teacher persona comes across that well.
  13. I heard once that someone will believe something if 2 conditions are met - 1) it's the first they are hearing of the subject 2) it's being presented to them in a charismatic and believable way, by someone they trust. For example someone might believe in Islam because they were introduced to it as a child, which was the first they ever heard of the religion and it was presented to them by their parents who they trusted. Even at an older age maybe you believe flat earth because its the first time you ever heard of the possibility the earth might not be round and then maybe it was presented to you by a youtuber you already watched and liked.
  14. I play 1 minute games so they're pretty much 100% intuition and almost like a muscle memory of the moves you make in certain positions that have worked before
  15. I totally get what you're saying, as far as you're concerned there is only truth and falsehood, ie black and white thinking. Your model doesn't leave much room for nuance or grey areas. So this is a great example of closed thinking in that no matter what evidence is presented to you, you would not be able to rethink your position as you are locked into your 'truth'. As I said those who have worked on the vaccine are not as locked in as you as they will specifically highlight flaws and rates of efficacy, whereas your stand point is all or nothing. In terms of authoritianism this is another black and white mindset that you have. I'm sure you can accept the government has to have some authority in that it has to protect its citizens, if it doesn't do this people will not accept that government. An example is people have to take a test to be able to drive you could argue that this might be against your rights and you should be able to drive regardless but if you do you could put others at danger. Also you are free to buy land and live as you wish but you don't because you read all the benefits of you countries government, protection etc.
  16. Would you consider that people do actually know the anti-vaxx arguments but have come to a different conclusion than you? The other point is that for you to raise awareness and try and change minds assumes that you are 100% correct in your perspective. Even the people that made the vaccines wouldn't say its 100% effective, as with any treatment they have to state the rate of side effects and efficacy. So these people who are experts in their field with many years of study would not even claim 100% certainty, however you do so much so that your actively trying to convince people of your position. I believe, and this is an assumption on my part, that you want to get validation for your beliefs, you see reality in a certain way and it irks you that others don't see it the same.
  17. Dr Tians great, I think he teaches actual healthy masculinity which is why he won't be very popular at least for now
  18. So are you posting stuff as a protest or are you trying to change minds here or what's the purpose?
  19. Gym might be a good start, you can meet people as well working out can help you mentally and give you a good routine. Even better might be sports or hobby clubs depending on what your into.
  20. I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with the red pill per se, it's a lens and a perspective of which to view the world through, some insights might help you, some might set you back. Where the issue comes in (this isn't limited to the red pill) is when people treat it like a religion and that its the only truth and only perspective. The name implies that this is the case.
  21. I always find it weird that people keep going on about this, you didn't want to take the vaccine, no one forced you, you can travel and pretty much do anything now, so why keep beating this drum?
  22. The video is entertaining but not a valid critique, to say Leo has death cult is actually comical and I'm someone who has criticised Leo in some posts. It's funny because people have always criticised mainstream media for manipulating and creating narratives, but when normal people get to present information they can be so much worse. My criticisms would be an over emphasis on the need for psychedelics and the 'I'm the most enlightened one' kinda vibe. I could also make the argument that most of his audience just need foundational advice rather than focusing on becoming enlightened. That's not necessarily his fault how people consume his content but something he should be aware of. I think there is a reason people like Tolle and Spira don't go as deep as Leo and that's because they are probably of where their audience is and they meet them there. I do respect Leo for just putting out as advanced content as he can, there is definitely something to be said for that. Another issue that has come up recently with Tate as well, is that people, for the most part, are not able to just take information from teachers and leave the rest, I've found it's really all or nothing for a lot of people. You could make the argument that this is not the fault of the creator as long as they're not actively courting this undying loyalty. I would say Leo doesn't court it but it still happens, but people like Tate and Trump do actively court it, it's also interesting that Tate and Trump both got into reality tv and celebrity media before they really got their fans.
  23. I'll give some context but want to keep this relatively short. So basically I was dating this girl at least semi-seriously, I was trying to maintain my freedom so I never really wanted to move in or anything like that, but I definitely enjoyed the benefits of the relationship, companionship, sex, having someone care about you etc. I like to think I offered her a lot as well, although I did have a block of letting her in fully, just because I've always liked the idea of keeping my freedom. I was open about this with her though. Anyway we broke up because i just felt we were arguing a lot and certain things didnt seem compatible, didn't speak for like 6 months, but she did get back in touch and wanted have a casual friends with benefits type situation, I told her I was concerned she might get hurt, she told me she was conscious of what she was doing, so I went ahead with it. Now I have other options popping up so I could sleep and date other women and in theory it would be all above board. Previously I actually wanted to set my life up like this, but what I keep thinking is to get to a certain stage with a woman they do kind of love you and as such you have the ability to hurt them even if it is all above board. Also I don't feel some crazy motivation to fuck as many women as possible, if a situation came up and we were vibing, I definitely would but it's not a big motivation in my life presently. I was also kind of into red pill before, although I didn't go too deep I liked the idea of becoming a man of value and having a rotation etc. So am I being a bit of a bitch by not taking up these offers at least for now? Or should I just put it on the back burner and work on myself? Or whatever other idea makes sense
