It’s not really negative per se although it can be a bit existentially worrying in some moments. I’m quite open , I don’t agree with conventional views on mental illness. Maybe psychosis, whatever it is, could even be healthy, some kind of purging, i don’t know but that’s so cute of u I lowkey wrote that comment knowing you’d have something to say lol -
Why “paradoxically “ lol not to nit pic

there’s nothing wrong with having an underlying agenda in everything you do

Are u sad or do you just live in Sweden

I feel I’m just getting closer and closer to psychosis since the shift -
they somehow believe being confused will get them closer to truth

Don’t you think it’s wayyy more likely that a guy with “repressed” heterosexuality would just become some incel rather than start being attracted to men?
-
The masculine and feminine polarity is not exclusive to biological women and men. Cis women and men don’t own masculinity and femininity, those are qualities that exist in all of us. So the gay man who is attracted to a feminine guy might be because femininity is associated with submissiveness and he desires to be more dominant in the relationship. To suggest this is some repressed sexuality is quite a reach in my opinion.

I can see tho clearly that there are fun social circles out here in Sweden it’s just a matter of getting into them, if one has that desire. It’s not fun “in general” , but there are indeed very interesting people here, and combine that with the openness and progressive mindset here and you have both the fun and depth in a person. Some countries have more of just the fun lol? ”Nucci” I can’t. Gotta give it a listen now that you mention. But yes it’s the same kind of, just these nationalists trying to convince us otherwise ? I totally relate to not feeling Croatian at heart. And that’s fine honestly everyone doesn’t have to be a raging nationalist sweden can be pretty dead you are right. People fall into depression here because of it haha oh gosh same. Sometimes I believe there is a reason I was born on July 4th , I’ve always been attracted to America. Just seems to be this collection of everything in one place. I’m almost rotting here in Sweden not gonna lie, that’s why I came to this forum ?

Why does it matter? Either you work or not doesn’t matter if it’s above or below someone else

How does food affect you? For me junk food it’s this one thing that puts me in a pleasant state, sugar in particular does something special to my state that nothing else I’ve tried does independent of it tasty or not

also. Even if something perhaps originates from someone else or outside of you - does not necessarily mean your desire for it is authentic . Just another point yea totally. Sometimes we have beliefs about stuff that affect what we feel we should pursue so it can come in conflict with what we are attracted to and desire so it’s a lot of conflict and things to question there so good you’re doing it! I relate to your sense of rush. For me I kept looking and looking and everything got clearer and clearer eventually . regarding your question. You are onto something there when you separate beliefs and desires. Because sometimes we have beliefs that we hold, unconsciously even, that affect what we believe we should /shouldn’t do and it can come in conflict to what we feel desire to do so create suffering and confusion there. For me beliefs in my life have fallen away spontaneously so it’s hard to say what one can do. To know if you authentically want something, first question the ideas you have about what authentic means. Some people seem to define authentic as something that comes from you, so they think if a desire has outside influence then it’s not so authentic but it’s not really the case imo. A desire can both have a component to it that originates form outside conditioning and simultaneously have a component that unique to you and personal , so it doesn’t make it less authentic , if you still want it at the end of the day - why does it matter if it “comes from someone else”. What you fantasize about could give you a clue to what you want, if you’re the person who fantasizes a lot. You could look at what you are discontent with for example some quality about yourself and see if you wanna start working on that. And lowkey drop the idea that desires should be these grand big things, if you have that idea. Sometimes maybe we just want nicer clothes for example, it’s not waste of time per day to pursue those small things, one can grow while doing that too . That’s another point, people sometimes feel they need to do massive grand things to grow themselves. You could grow and become more effective and intelligent from small everyday situations too. For example - I’ve grown a lot from working these minimum wage jobs after high school - my social skills have skyrocketed in comparison to before, I have become more comfortable being a leader, better at coordinating my body, my practical intelligence is better, better confidence. Wether you grow or not from something is more fundamental to you and your psychology - someone could work just like me but barely grow at all. There is opportunity everywhere. Where do youuuuuu feel limited you could ask? What area of life feels most lacking at the moment ? What are of life you feel most panicky around in how lacking you feel they’re Social, dating, financial, intellectual etc . Could start there

Ok my stereotype must have something to it after all then ? But I can understand if it’s lonely if you feel more developed and different than most in your surroundings honestly even if sweden is very developed and I dig a lot of people here I still don’t really feel connected and keep to myself mostly so if you’re into this work you’re gonna be unique wherever you do honestly Regarding the music , for one moment I was gonna name some artists I like such as Rasta and Senidah but then I realized they’re not even Croatian ? it’s the same for me tho The nightlife is pretty dead here in Sweden too honestly so that’s the only thing I’d disagree w but otherwise I quite love it here , but not the most fun country in my opinion I believe there are way more interesting and fun things to see than for example Stockholm . Don’t get really why people would come here out of all the countries . What’s so interesting hahahah you’d love Swedish girls tho I bet despite them not being the squishiest bounciest perhaps but they got other things going for them . Me and my sister sometimes wonder are we ugly or do we just live in Stockholm???

I deeply relate to your description of your experience although I cannot tell for sure if the actual experience your words are pointing to is similar to mine. But honestly you don’t need to ground yourself in reality like others do in order to work and be effective in it. I’m more “detached” than most from the “real world” but at the same time more effective in it - in the conventional sense as in I can keep several jobs, good grades, social skills etc. I barely feel real most of the time, but it’s not a hindrance to my functioning. I connect with the world my way - not their way (how it seems they do). Ground myself my way not their way. If you feel grounded in that existential way why not build from there instead of trying to reach whatever others seem to have access to -
oppenness. Its an energy not just mental

this is interesting to me, do you wanna elaborate a little because as a croatian living in sweden ive for a long time judged crotian culture a little for being "bakcwards" and compared it to sweden. But then recently ive gotten more in touch with my roots but not in an egoic way
-
true simplicity is more of a mental thing for me then the external stuff follows (buying less etc) because one is no longer attracted to it. You could live minimalistic while still cluttered up in your head vice versa
-
neurotic = nervous sysgtem dysregulation involved = affects sleep because nervous system regulation is crucial to the sleep cycle and everything. Also stress makes you alert which is opposite to sleepy my sponatnous thought

why is this lowkey the answer to all my questions in life
