Sugarcoat replied to Sugarcoat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well I can be a bit hesitant to post here since it seems like my “journey” in life is so extremely rare that I doubt even most people here would relate and resonate with it Also the fact most here are male and older than me already makes me feel a bit out of place so I cannot deny that your comment, also coming from you who seems to have gone “deep” or whatever one would call it, was a bit reassuring to this little insecurity of mine! -

Where can you hear about those stories? interesting you mention btw. After this morning I realized I want to bask in this direct connection to my body so deeply while dancing to music that I need to set myself time away to do just that. I have had mystical like experiences before when dancing and afterwards so I am curious where one can go with it. Am currently with people and busy with other things but when I get the chance I will!? Seriously tho, prior to my shift I was so stuck in my head, allowed myself almost no free time ever to do what I spontaneously wanted. After the shift I discovered my deep love for dancing. It is funny to me, in my past I saw it as this meaningless but nice activity …oh boy it is so much more -

Presence was revealed when the shift occurred this is something else in my experience . It’s like this human vessel has different components, mind. energy, physicality etc. And it all was a whole mess before, all this stuck energy in my system, limiting beliefs , mental projections, neurotic patterns , psychosomatic tension knots, I could go on and on. Just dense and heavy and “edgy” ugh and it all gets untangled! Without doctors , no science needed just pure awareness nature healing itself seemingly endlessly, effortlessly! WOW! -

There is more ???? Your comment surprised me btw! -
What’s the purpose of being more emotional? So others don’t think you’re cold or what? Aka for your own benefit.

I’m struggling to put into words what it is about. But I would say something along the lines of being exposed fully to my own undesirable perception of myself through interaction with someone else (our sense of self exists in relation to others). This someone else could be anyone that I have a desire to have a desirable perception of myself around (meaning I don’t already have it) to be able to enjoy something from them (or most importantly to be able to enjoy something within myself that is drawn to them) -

@Yimpa one time you said “using contraction as fuel” somewhere if I remember correctly and it has stuck with me ever since, perfect description, because it’s truly how I used to experience this sense of trying to control the body/myself . “Self discipline” it’s called I guess . Don’t know if that’s what you meant tho haha but still -

I was specifically questioning this control over one’s own body. And what you said could be applied to it actually now that I’m reading. Totally forgot about other things tho perhaps because I myself have no desire to control anything outside myself so the thought didn’t even cross my mind???but yes absolutely there are many ways of interpreting it!! -

What does it even mean to control something, if you observe it very closely? What is the mechanism of it? Can you even say for sure that you have control over this body? Also if this seeming control bothers you. There are many ways to relate to your own body. This sense of control can be experienced in different ways, more or less. The body it is quite good at taking care of itself so one can relinquish some of this seeming control and let it do it’s thing. -

Didn’t you have anyyyy suspicions at all? Like no sign of weirdness already? That’s surprising then if she could seem normal or you just didn’t notice, didn’t sense properly. Because I’ve been in a situation with a woman who also was crazy like that but she showed signs from the get go, so I’m suprised if it’s possible for such people to seem normal

Yea exactly I think you’re pretty set with this also. Even if someone would find it important for you to have some “interesting life” if it’s not the life you want you’re gonna be unhappy right . Like it makes no sense to have a life to make someone attracted to you that’s like recipe for disaster now you’re not living how you want just how someone else wants Btw that’s cool you’re starting a business I wish u luck there

Hmmm idk . It is interesting to say the least. this is just one of my wild theories. But I wonder if since the night is the only time one has solitude (if you don’t live alone) then if you’re like me and you don’t really connect much w people and need that solitude to “process” then it’s like your body WANTS to be awake during nighttime to experience that solitude and it’s even energized to be awake that time (for me at least). Since we are going through such rapid and deep changes there needs to be a lot of processing going on, even leading to mystical like experiences. It’s like introverts who “process” after social events. After a long day with simulation and people where you have to be alert then during the night you get the change to “process” so the body/brain doesn’t wanna/can’t sleep to be able to do this or something lol just wild theory once again

Same honestly. I feel this tendency to “keep things to oneself” can be a form of wisdom in some way. Instead of just posting every other thing in your mind without letting it “mature” or something.? I feel like I have 1000 things I could say and write about but it all just marinates in my mind and doesn’t get out. But honestly I don’t see the point in posting for the sake of posting I like it to have a purpose. Will I or someone else benefit from this? If not then it’s not necessary I wonder sometimes. People who are just lurking but rarely write, maybe don’t even have an account, some of them would probably have the most profound, interesting things to say. I’m curious, where are they hiding, what are they doing and thinking haha and honestly no need to be intimidated by a lot of these posters. They might not be all that you think ?but I relate I can be too sometimes AND not everyone does psychedelics and that is fine and does not mean per automatic one is “behind” AND yea commenting is a good place to start imo
