  1. So main point is the brain creates our experience right
  2. The human ego works in such a way it forms attachments. We suffer our attachments. To combat this requires self awareness to be aware of our attachments and identifications. Self awareness also means focusing on yourself, attention on self. Through shining the spotlight of attention on yourself it aids in dissolving uncomfortable identifications and attachments. It’s like a form of self inquiry
  3. Mean meaning teasing? It displays confidence . You’re secure in yourself enough that you’re able to focus on her. You’re shining your spotlight of attention on her. When you’re insecure you tend to be too in your own head focused on yourself kinda
  4. “Almost” no ego yea😂
  5. So I’m a human because i haven’t yet gotten enlightened. And this limited perception of myself creates perception of other yea I get it
  6. But that’s not what people mean by solipsism right. They don’t mean that oneness
  7. Ok I see. I almost never read that section
  8. You mean you passed the posting limit? Because a ban would be permanent right
  9. Can I see lol
  10. lol let’s see if it works for you
  11. My immediate thought to respond now was “lol” . You are so right about me. Jokes aside do you genuinely try to manifest things or you just joke about it
  12. Why would you assume you’re the only one with an experience? As if reality would limit itself to one experience
  13. You don’t have to pursue anything in life. In fact the average person is somehow like this, just working to make a living, spending time with their family. Most aren’t doing any consciousness “work” or personal development. You can totally live a life where you mostly just chill and do what you please.
  14. Do you really have to work 40 hours a week job while you study? Can’t you work less? That is what I’ll do when I study, just work a little bit on the side
  15. The substance of the layer I dissolved? mind. I would say. It makes a bit sense yea. I don’t know if there’s an objective reality. Could you describe more the dissolution of the illusion you mentioned?
  16. Basically it’s like this self that we have , this human ego has many layers to it. Kinda like layers of belief systems, that’s some of it. And the layers can dissolve one by one. When one layer “cracks open” or dissolves i call it a “shift”. So it’s like I had dissolved a structure in my mind that was this fixed belief system I had, that’s why I said my spiritual paradigm fell apart because it kinda did, but underneath that comes another paradigm so it’s not more “non dual” although it is in one sense since when the layers dissolve the self gets thinner and you feel less separate from enviroment
  17. Something else. It was one of my more minor shifts, but still profound. It’s when my spiritual paradigm kind of fell apart and I saw it was just a mental construct kind of
  18. I wonder what would happen if we showed everyone non duality in school or something. How would it be received. You have to understand that most people haven’t even heard of it, don’t even know it’s a thing at all.
  19. I’m not sure. I have done both for some time. Spontaneously I’d say the longer mediation is better. I remember having a pretty profound shift when mediating for 3 hours a day for a week or two
