I’ve only watched just a little bit of their content and I’ve found some of it good too. It’s hard to judge people from such little content but I think one can distill for oneself the good aspects from the bad. Extract the good stuff so to speak.

I don’t mean to sound negative but I’m wondering if this enlightenment thing is even possible. I’ve done some self inquiry, contemplation, meditation, just a tiny bit psychedelics, have had maybe one natural glimpse, and have shed many layers to the self over the years, but it’s still alive so in one way I haven’t gotten anywhere. Look at Leo for example, he is a prime example. Isn’t he all about enlightenment? He has probably done so so much more practice than me, but he is still not enlightened, he is still operating from a human ego. Or am I wrong about this? If one of the most dedicated people in this isn’t even enlightened what is the hope for the rest of us who might not be equally as dedicated? How much does one have to do? Is it just a matter of keep trying? Any success stories ?

Completely agree. It doesn’t make sense at all that there would only be one life in ALL of eternity. If this life could happen, another life could happen sooner or later too. Another POV could be born again just like this one, from nothing. Doesn’t require a “soul” or something to transition. Even if there might be such a thing. But life and consciousness could literally come out of nothing at all in eternity, an infinite amount of times

I wouldn’t agree that much on the Europe thing, I think Leo is exceptional wherever he goes and will struggle to find likeminded anywhere. From having once spent a summer watching all of his videos I can tell he has a unique mind that is for sure more beautiful than average . Not saying the average mind is bad though. Not fully sure what he means as mind though, if he means his thoughts or something else

49: Non duality in everyday life I believe that the average human experiences a sort of non duality in their life when they for example enter a flow state. When they are so immersed in something for example playing a video game or working that they become selfless for a moment, forget themselves. Yes we all have a sense of self (unless enlightened) but I don’t think the average humans feels they exist every second, it’s more an on and off thing, stronger and weaker at times depending on activity. So in a sense we all have glimpses from time to time I believe. But enlightenment is when those selfless states become permanent.

Randomly came up with the idea to start this journal of some random thoughts I have . Feel free to discuss something if you want. I wanted to name this “random thots” first to be a little funny for those who know the meaning but then figured nah it’s not that funny , or maybe . I’m laughing at it for some reason😂

48: Did 3 hour meditation yesterday. Took a little break after one hour because I felt tired and considered whether I should go to sleep instead, but then I regained energy and decided to continue my session. I managed for the first time to meditate for an hour without looking at the timer. In total I looked at the timer a little bit less than last time so I’m making progress. My goal with this meditation is to one day experience some kind of mystical experience. Enlightenment would be the ultimate goal though.
