  1. @Paul92 Sounds like you have a serious case of ego backlash there my friend. The ego hates truth when it comes up against it. It like when the Great Oz gets exposed for what he really is. A little poser hiding behind a curtain creating an illusion.
  2. @seeking_brilliance What your saying isn't falling on deaf ears here by any means. It would be nice to have a heading for the free form topics to be discussed like lucid dreaming, astral travel, telepathy, OBE's, science/quantum mechanics ect.
  3. @seeking_brilliance If memory serves me correctly there used to be a seperate category dedicated these topics apart from Enlightenment, Spirituality and Meditation. Then at some point it was all grouped into one.
  4. @ShugendoRa That's how it is when you step out of the dream. Have compassion for them. "Forgive them father for they know not what they do"
  5. @winterknight God wants to experience himself as every infinite possability. Enlightenment is foolproof. There is no going wrong! So glade to be sharing this experience with all of you "infinite possibilities" of God
  6. I once was here I once was there But now I'm gone like Leo's hair
  7. @LeoBacca Just stay mindful as much as you can. It's not just the formal practices that count.
  8. @LeoBacca Reverse the question: How much time should one spend away from doing meditation, contemplation, self- inquiry?
  9. @Shin Shroomdoctor may not have seen your Alan Watts video
  10. @SoonHei I'll second that. This infinitely self-aware fabric was my very first glimpse. I use the same conceptual term to help describe it also. It's just how the mind concieved it to be- "like a fabric". I only say this because it is there. That's what is most important here.
  11. @Yousef @now is forever @zambize You guys have now hijacked this thread. Read the forum guidelines.

  13. @ivankiss Do a piece on negative space. Here is a bit inspiration thanks to Alan Watts The system as a whole appears to be a distribution of solid entities or modes of energy in the midst of emptiness or space. Human consciousness preoccupies itself with these entities, and virtually ignores their spatial background. We consider it "nothing" in the sense of that which has neither importance nor significance, forgetting that without the spatial field, none of these entities could be manifested or distinguished. There is, however, between space and entity the same polar relationship as between crest and trough, for which reason "nothingness" is not simply the contrary or absence of "being", but rather its ground and origin. We believe so firmly in the maxim "ex nihilo nihil fit" – "nothing can come out of nothing" – that it is almost impossible for us to see that emptiness is the essential prerequisite for every form of being,
  14. Well don't go and cut your ear off over any of this.
  15. Surrender to being totally clueless about everything. It's liberating.
  16. @SoonHei I has parroting two different Zen Koans into one thus proving the OP's point. Zen Koans are meant to bring the logical mind to stop seeking logical answers.
  17. @Amun What is the sound of one hand clapping in the woods if there is no one there hear it?
  18. @Nearfrest You've spoken your mind now this thread only serves as a distraction.
  19. @Nearfrest I was going to allow this to play out but from this uncalled for derogatory tone I can see your just trolling now.
  20. @Key Elements "Holding at the satguru's feet is the borderline between knowingness and no-knowingness" A Bodhisattva? But wouldn't someone who reaches full Buddhahood then teach through silence? The silence of no-knowingness or true emptiness can be a great teacher. The guru of gurus. They would be the embodyment of true emptiness.
  21. @Marinador A good athelete can enter a state of body awareness in which the right stroke or the right movement happens by itself effortlessly without any interference from the conscious will. This is the paradigm for non-action (Wu Wei) the purest and most effective form of action.
