  1. Good day everyone! I see we have a "Hot Topic" and again for all the wrong reasons.
  2. @Viking On what level? On a relative level yes I love my children, my wife and now my gf. On a metaphysical level yes I've experienced a collective love that is universal.
  3. I know what your saying. I have no proof that love is anything other then wishfull thinking but still I have faith in love.
  4. @Viking Love is different then beauty though. Love is more like a universal force or truth.
  5. Then it's a conscious choice your making. Appreciation is optional.
  6. @Viking You can still appreciate a good movie even though you know it's not real.
  7. You are correct. Beauty only exists in the eye of the beholder.
  8. @Joseph Maynor Big Booty works fine for me.
  9. @Joseph Maynor I could say the word being to me points to a kind of "soul".
  10. But what if by saying God you were just referring to everything exactly as it is - Totality?
  11. Einstien once said "Ego is an illusion albeit a very persistant one"
  12. Man stands in his own shadow and wonders why he can't see the light
  13. @Fountainbleu Thanks for sharing. I've been looking at neurofeedback recently. Are you familliar with that? I'm not sure how it would apply to TBI's or if any research has been done in that area but I know it's doing wonders for ADS and such. It would be worth checking into.
  14. Yea once he decides what he wants he really gets his teeth into it.
  15. Not that I'm into Dracula but this guy really knows what he wants.
  16. Sure thing. You gotta be comfortable being with yourself first and foremost. Needy ppl that depend on outside circumstanses to supply their happiness are a turn off.
  17. @Deepconcepts Life turns on a dime as the old saying goes. "You never know what lies right around the corner" is moral of the story.
  18. @theking00 At age 27 I was turning in a different direction. The singles sceen was fun but was getting to be an endless nowhere game so I started to look in a more realistic direction to take my life. I made that change and a year later I meet the woman who would be my wife (she came into my life as if out of nowhere) and by age 30 we were married and our first child was on the way .
  19. @theking00 It's good thing she was honest with you even though it may hurt at the moment. How old are you?
  20. @Arhattobe Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Your DMN is what gives you you sense of self identity. It is responsable for survival of the body, body functions ect. Your fight or flight mechinisim is also part of the DMN. For the most part it is the seat of the ego/self.
  21. This topic has no relevance to anything here. It's a thought story and nothing more.
