  1. @theking00 It's all part of the process unfolding perfectly. Dualistically speaking the ego-self acts as a gate keeper that keeps one from entering the realm of the higher self. Self inquiry has bought you to this gate. But the ego self must remain in the realm of the relative to pass through. Question is: Are you willing to leave the ego behind for greater Truth? "Noble wines shall not be tasted by drunkards" Drunkard = the ego/self.
  2. @Onecirrus Sounds as if everything you knew conceptually about enlightenment suddenly came into direct experience (became a reality) and you surrendered to it when it did. I'd say you had a bit of an ego death there. Nice going! Surrender is key. How can you get it to happen again? That's a tough one. If you try to make it happen it won't. The first time there was the fear of the unknown and resistance that you surrendered to. But now the resistance is gone along with the fear. So lets say your consciousness has expanded to some degree now. What next? Dig even deeper.
  3. @Aakash Seriously dude, what's really going on? You seem a little wired out about something.
  4. @Socrates No man the ego is cool. It's all part of a bigger picture.
  5. Worthwhile topics should'nt need a click bait title.
  6. @sausagehead But that's exactly how God created it to be. What an ingenious creation the illusion of a thinker is.
  7. Haven't done it for years but what I would do is set an alarm for say 4-6 hrs. after going to bed. Then when the alarm went off I'd go in the bathroom and splash some water on my face then get back into bed but stay mindfull when falling back to sleep. With some practice you can get into some deep states of lucid dreaming before falling completely back to sleep.
  8. @Inliytened1 Have you ever woken at night and realized you were having satsang with - god knows who or what?
  9. @Toan Google has tons of info. on lucid dreaming. One example here. https://www.tuck.com/how-to-lucid-dream/
  10. Language as a form of communication is based more on difference then on similarity. What is needed is a non-linear form of communication.
  11. @Aakash Haha Just slow your roll dude. Rome wasn't built in a day.
  12. @Soul-lover 2020 You don't belong here. Sorry man. Time to go.
  13. @Serotoninluv Here's a simple solution. No exposed coil - just a ceramic heating chamber.
  14. @Nahm Here's a few examples that may work well. The electronic thingy is a induction coil heater I call "The Magnetic Induction Flux Capacitor" I built it because the butane torch was too hot and was incinerating everything instead of vaporizing.
  15. @electroBeam I was just reading your thread then went to youtube and this pops up. Is this just coincidence? I think not. I've only listened to the first 3 mins or so.
  16. @kieranperez I've experienced the same you describe here. It felt to be an energetic field of intelligence that underlies all of reality at it's most fundamental level. It did feel like a "void" in a way. But it wasn't empty by any means.
  17. @Shaun I always loved working with my hands. Mechanical and carpentry is my thing. It came naturally and as I worked at it my skill level expanded of course over time. It never felt like a 9 to 5 job. It was a perfect fit. Maybe it was the instant gratification of seeing something created out nothing like building a deck on someone's home. Or fixing something that was broken and making it even better then new. I was never out of work. If I needed money there is always someone who needed a leaky roof repaired so to speak. I knew a few others guys that did carpentry/remodeling too so if they had a job that needed extra help they'd give me a call and I would offer the same to them when I needed help. The gist of what I'm saying is if you have skills you can write your own story not be a pawn in someone else's story. If you have skills people will be willing to pay you for your service. Also the piece of mind knowing that work is always available no matter where you go. On that note: have you ever considered living the van life? Living in a home on wheels and traveling? Did that for a while. It was great. I felt like a turtle with my home on my back wherever I went. No regrets!!!!
